This is one simple piece of advice to be successful that's so common sense, yet so few people actually do it. In any industry, especially an industry that requires some customer service, taking on a little more responsibility and doing something that "isn't your job" is the easiest way to stand out above everyone else. It'll put you so much further ahead than others and will make such a huge difference long term.

“SunCor Financial MPI review"
So glad I watched this years ago
I do this 650% of the time. But I’m still not a millionaire yet. Wtf Graham!
This is like a vintage Graham video. I love the curtains in the background. The passion is still the same. 🙂 You are one of my favorite channels to watch.
my first proper smash dat like button!
Great tips 🙂 Do something that's not your job.
When Disney imagineers come up with a great idea, they then ask themselves, "How can we plus it?"
Awesome message, subscribed!
why i thought this video just came out still resinates today lol going above and beyond
You are pure savage bro 😀
So in college i worked at a Grocery store. Union Job, so Pay was based ONLY on Seniority… But I was still hyper-friendly to EVERYONE, and exceptionally fast as getting people through.
Eventually I found out customers were going to the Customer Service desk to tell my Manager or whomever, and sometimes that boss would ask if they'd like to fill out a comment card. They were little 5" cards from the store, but the customer hand wrote the message I would later receive and as lame as it sounds, it made me feel good to be appreciated.
Fast Forward- I kept a dozen or so of those cards, and brought them with me to a job interview: "Anybody can tell you that they're great, personable, efficient or customer-centric at their job… I have the proof." – I'm fairly certain that helped me land my 1st big kid job after college.
Hey, I have a question ! I'm 25 years old I bought my house back when I was 21. I just refi my house and took $35,000 out to buy my frist investment property. My current house was appraised at $195k
I'm either going to get a condo or townhouse or single family home. And rent it out and plan on get a couple property over the next year's. Do you have any tips for me. ???
I have watched alot of your videos
And my favorite was the one where you speak about saving money and just huslting and not going out lol that's what I been doing working hard and saving money. HOPE YOU SEE MY COMMENT AND GET BACK TO ME ! I LIVE IN LAS VEGAS.
Preach it
Integrity will always get you far.
Graham… Seriously like when you understand with experience and what ever i don't even understand properly this life, but i am seriously inspired.
Most people will try and do the bare minimum and its truly sad they they aren't willing to push themselves.
You're right…because I was impressed that you responded to my earlier comment immediately. ;o). I've often thought the same thing. That people should do a little bit more …or anticipate a need and do it. Those are definitely the kind of people I give good referrals to. So many people actually do less than what's required…especially when they say things like, "That's not my job." In fact the people who say that eventually don't even do what is the job. People don't even realize how many opportunities are missed by doing the minimum or below…because they don't see what goes on behind the scenes. I just recently called someone I knew about an outstanding job opportunity and that I and another friend could give her an excellent reference. There was another person I knew who applied and I really couldn't decide if she was good or "ok." My honest feeling was that she was just ok. And if I could honestly give a high recommendation theres a good chance she would get the job. The one who went the extra mile will definitely be more likely to get the job. And the one that was just ok will probably never know why she lost that opportunity.
this is also the easiest way for you to make enemies really quick at work!
thank you for this content, in my community we often say " whenever you do something, do not make it worth the price you've being given, but worth the feeling you will be providing" that's what creates value in my opinion, do what you can without being asked too, it will make successful !
Haha, very easy yeah, and i remember that all the time thanks to this:

What if we are threatened to be fired because what we are doing in not allowed and we need to stay within the strict job description?
From second guessing a quality video to uploading right after you get out of bed 😉 oh Graham
Great info, man
