AMC and APE Shares are being illegally manipulated.
516m APE shares exist, 95% of these are owned by retail who is not selling, that leaves 25m APE shares to trade, but yet APE saw volume of over 100m shares on its very first day trading!
This is either HFT firms manipulating the price of APE, or synthetic shorts manipulating the price of APE...
A massive chunk of APE volume was also traded in the dark pool today, a massive chunk that we retail investors can't trade in the dark pool.
Yet interestingly, AMC was not pushed below $10 because of all of the additional margin they'd need to stump up.

The final day to trade AMC with APE entitlement was August 19th. We are currently in the settlement phase and we expect the shares to be settled and allocated to your Sharesies account by the end of the US Trading week

Live in sweden europe, and my broker says we are and will be restricted to buy apes before the broker have issued an information sheet about ape.
So we will only be able to sell our apes.
Further we had 0 issues any of my amc mates got all their ape shares and their money split.
And the float isn't held by apes. It's held by individuals mostly. Not all individuals are apes.
