I won’t sugarcoat it. We had an ugly market close yesterday. The market’s gapping down big time, and crypto got massacred.
Yet I remain the furthest thing from a doomsday crier. On days like this, I go back to Paul “Bear” Bryant’s famous quote that “defense wins championships.”
Here’s what I’m watching today…
Yes indeed … AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. (NYSE: AMC) is still potentially in play. As of the premarket, I thought it could make a red-to-green move. After all, on days like this, it’s possible to get some funky squeezes.
Same theory goes for GameStop Corp. (NYSE: GME), but I prefer AMC because of the lower price.
A follower asked about Aerpio Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: ARPO) … I call this a sleeper idea. It’s not an ideal setup. However, I saw a bunch of clowns on Twitter arguing about shorting it. When I see the basement-dwellers talking like that, I get interested...
On a different day, I might love it. But the market’s gapping down today, so I’m not as enthusiastic. Still, I like it over the $2 level.
I was a big fan of Skillz Inc. (NYSE: SKLZ) a while back, but then it fell off my radar. A follower brought it up this morning. Thanks for bringing it to my attention! I definitely like this as a swing idea.
The $14 level is intriguing — it was resistance and it’s now become support. I explain potential entries, risk levels, and goals for a swing trade like this.
