Yesterday was an incredible day for low float stocks.
If you’re attempting to catch moves like we saw with Brooklyn Immunotherapeutics Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN: BTX) or Regional Health Properties Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN: RHE) yesterday, you’ve got to look at the stock float.
A lower-float stock means there are fewer shares readily available to trade. That reduced supply helps create the demand that can create dynamic stock moves.
Here’s what’s going on today…
I’m still watching Vaxart Inc. (NASDAQ: VXRT) … It had good news last night. Idiot shorts keep trying to guess the top, which keeps squeezing it higher. As of the premarket, I liked it over $10.50 with a risk at $10.
My second main watch today? Precipio Inc (NASDAQ: PRPO). I’m hoping for a reclaim of $7 with a risk on VWAP.
Yes, Regional Health Properties Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN: RHE) could still be in play today. As of the premarket, it had potential as a weak open red-to-green...
BioLineRx Ltd. (NASDAQ: BLRX) is a super-sketchy company. That’s not such a bad thing for day trading! It’s only kind of low float, but this morning it was at 52-week highs and it had incredible volume.
As of the premarket, it looked like a textbook dip and rip. I’d love to see a chat pump around 9 a.m. Eastern to create even more short-seller bait.
A follower asked about Ocugen Inc. (NASDAQ: OCGN) as a potential red-to-green. Perhaps … But I don’t have much faith it will get there unless some news drops.
Here’s a learning experience: Cocrystal Pharma Inc (NASDAQ: COCP) is not a breakout. It has a lot of spikes and fails...
This is the type of stock that needs to clear resistance before it’s in play. That’s why I call it an afternoon-only play. I explain why traders should compare this daily chart to BTX’s daily chart to bring the point home.
I still have hope for Clover Health Investments Corp. (NASDAQ: CLOV). But something needs to happen — it needs news or some catalyst.
Someone asked about Organicell Regenerative Medicine Inc (OTCPK: BPSR) as a dip buy. Nobody believes in personal freedom more than I do … But I really don’t know why anyone would choose to dip buy a stock that has a maybe-catalyst related to a no-longer-hot stock sector.
