Those who fail to learn from history are doomed.
Right now, a lot of traders are comparing the current market to the dot-com boom. I think there’s a flaw in that logic. It’s a different time, and I don’t think these real tech stocks are overvalued…
Here’s what’s going on today…
Tech giant Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) just had strong earnings. I know, I know. You don’t care about $3,000 stocks. But even if you never trade AMZN, it’s a good idea to watch what it’s doing.
It’s a good sign when big tech companies like this go up … It can have a trickle-down effect in the market. The more earnings winners you see, the more FOMO. That leads to more market participants, more volatility, and continued action for traders!
Takung Art Co Ltd. (NYSEAMERICAN: TKAT) was the head of the snake when it comes to NFT (non-fungible token) plays. It was the first and among the biggest to run.
Impressively, it’s held about 80% of its gains. It spiked yesterday. As of the premarket, it’s not as liquid as I’d like, but if the volume kicks in then it could be a Friday squeeze contender.
Yep: all this week’s big watches, including Brooklyn Immunotherapeutics Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN: BTX), Clover Health Investments Corp. (NASDAQ: CLOV), and MicroVision, Inc. (NASDAQ: MVIS), are still potentially in play. I explain my continued strategy for these runners…
I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it. A follower asked about Image Sensing Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISNS), which ran last night. I like the low float. The volume is just decent. It’s got potential, but not my top watch.

My take? If this failing retailer is your best idea of the day, will you please take the day off? You’d be better off watching soap operas than chasing this one.
I don’t necessarily like what Vaxart Inc. (NASDAQ: VXRT) did yesterday. It spiked, immediately collapsed, then went sideways. As for today, I’d only attempt trading in the afternoon and only if it meets certain criteria.
Hello again ... Ocugen Inc. (NASDAQ: OCGN) started perking yesterday. As of the premarket, I could see it as a weak open red-to-green. Check on the chart and see how it did this morning...
