It’s a new week. The markets are gapping up bigtime. Job numbers are great. It looks like it’s going to be an incredible spring and summer in the stock market.

Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA) just had a massive gap-up. Is it worth watching? I vote yes, even if it’s too rich for your blood. TSLA’s price spike could knock the EV (electric vehicle) sector back into play.
In 2020, the EV sector was one of the hottest and longest-lasting hot sectors I’d ever seen. With all the recent infrastructure talk, it wouldn’t surprise me to see a comeback. I’ll be watching EVs and sympathy plays like Blink Charging Co (NASDAQ: BLNK)...
I featured FreightCar America, Inc. (NASDAQ: RAIL) on the Weekly Watchlist … It’s a nice, slow-moving grinder. While it’s worth watching as a potential weak open red-to-green play, I’m favoring a different approach.
My fear is that if RAIL goes red, it might not go back green on the day. I talk about why I’d prefer that it chop around but stay green overall. At that point, I’ll be looking for a VWAP perk into the afternoon with a risk on red … This is a setup I talk about a lot with ‘real’ stocks, so listen carefully!
Since the market is forward-thinking, I tend to think that biotech play Chembio Diagnostics Inc. (NASDAQ: CEMI) is probably past its hot sector due date. There’s no herd to drive up hype and demand. Plus, I don’t like the chart or the overhead resistance...
AeroCentury Corp. (NYSEAMERICAN: ACY) was the squeeze du jour last Thursday. This stock has a huge range, so I think it requires a unique approach. I talk about why I like a whole-dollar/half-dollar approach at $12 more with a risk on green to red...
On the other hand, Uxin Ltd (NASDAQ: UXIN) was a great example of a potential red-to-green play as of the Pre-Market Prep session. Why? Because of where it closed, the float, the amount of short panic ... I explain what I look for in plays like this.
Will the kitty roar again? GameStop Corp. (NYSE: GME) isn’t back in action … Yet. But it could be soon. They just sold a bunch of stock. They have cash. They have news flow.
