As for the stock market … It’s doing about as well as the Suez Canal right now. All the NFT (non-fungible token) plays are red. The news flow is negative.
If you ask me, it’s not the kind of day to get super aggressive. Don’t trade just because you’re bored. Really be sure you’re checking all the boxes on all potential plays.
Here’s what’s going on today…
1998 called … and wants its website back. For a tech company, SilverSun Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: SSNT) seems pretty darned sketchy.
A follower asked about this ticker due to an after-hours spike. I have my reservations. Not only does the company seem suspect, but the stock has a history of one-and-dones. I’d call this an afternoon play only.
Another follower let me know that Ault Global Holdings Inc (NYSEAMERICAN: DPW) has news. This sketchy ticker has a history of tagging on to the latest hot-sector trend, so I guessed they might be jumping on the NFT bandwagon.
I was wrong — the news is actually EV-related. Sorry, but nobody cares about EV plays right now. We need a catalyst. Elon, can you hear me?
Here’s my big lesson for traders today … Don’t try to dip buy a disaster chart! Vinco Ventures Inc. (NASDAQ: BBIG) was looking mighty ugly as of the Pre-Market Prep. I explain why trying to guess the bottom is never a good idea, especially on a day like today...
You wanna see a late-day VWAP hold? Here’s a great example: GigaMedia Limited (NASDAQ: GIGM). Check out the chart from yesterday. Could it do a repeat later today? It’s possible, but it’s a tough call on a market day like this.
No matter what happens, I want everyone to learn from that chart so they can spot similar setups in the future...
