Hey guys, it's sasha i've been meaning to do this video for a while, but this week it felt particularly pertinent. So here we go. I've built up my channel to share useful insight, analysis and critical information for people who want to learn and develop their long-term investing strategy and general personal finance understanding and the truth is along the way. A lot of people signed up to the channel, who really do not need to be here. One week ago i launched a campaign to raise money for hot meals for people in their darkest hour of need. This campaign is called march for ukraine because i am spending the whole of march running that campaign and i'm donating all of my youtube ad revenue this month to that campaign.
You can see the donate button right next to this video and every other video that i'm making this month. This campaign funds, people who are making hot meals in cities like harkiv and hairson, which are currently under siege under attack, delivering the meals to people sitting in bomb shelters and have absolutely nothing left. The world central kitchen is feeding refugees in stopover cities like viv and cities that are running out of supplies like odessa. They are feeding the hundreds of thousands of refugees who have packed their entire life into one suitcase and are crossing the border into poland, moldova or some other country in freezing temperatures with no idea what tomorrow will bring and absolutely no knowledge of the country they are Making home they are feeding people who are surviving in giant shelters and all of the countries that are taking in refugees who have nowhere else to go and have nothing left and a few of the people watching.
My videos really didn't like this campaign. I have already lost a crazy number of subscribers as a result, but i know there's still a bunch of you out there lurking. If you are offended by me wanting to help people in their moment of need when their home has been destroyed, their life turned upside down. Please do me a massive favor and get the out of my channel.
If you are offended by me, being russian or by me supporting ukrainian people or whatever political reason, it is that you have for hating me, you know where the door is go through it and never come back. I don't give a about your politics. I care about people who have unimaginable difficulties that they are struggling to come to terms with they are sleeping and freezing basements and on the floors of empty offices. Some of them are ukrainian.
Some of them might be russian. Some of them might be some other nationalities. I don't care to me, they are people, they are children, mums, dads, grandparents and friends. A lot of people seem to be offended because i am not at the same time raising money for other conflicts around the world and instead of focusing on this one. How dare i clearly? It's because i am a racist or ignorant or whatever, and if you feel that way, please leave and never come back, because your attitude is disgusting. I am not a god and i do not have unlimited power to address every ill in the world. I've also only run my channel for a short time and my audience has been very limited. But if i choose to help a specific cause, you have to be an absolute imbecile to criticize that cause, because it doesn't happen to be addressing a different cause that you care more about.
I personally, i was born in the russian soviet federative republic. That was back then part of the ussr. I grew up in the soviet union and later in russia. My family is entirely from russia.
I also spent a fair bit of time in ukraine as a kid, so i am sorry but yes, perhaps this particular conflict is a bit more personal to me than it is to you, and so maybe i'm a little bit biased and paying more attention to a War that happens to be fought by the country in which i was born and grew up. If that bothers you, please don't let the door smack you on the way out, bye, bye, but wait. There are more people who need to unsubscribe. There is a lot more if you are offended or annoyed by a conversation that focuses on long-term investing strategy and mindset and ignores trading or short-term gambling or all of that rest of the stuff that i don't talk about.
Please unsubscribe! What the hell are you doing here watching my channel when there are literally thousands of channels out there that will teach you how to accurately read candlesticks and become a multi-billionaire trader in about three months? Do you walk into a burger restaurant and complain to them because you wanted to eat fish? I make no apology for my message being consistent. I know a lot of people get really frustrated because they tell me every day i get comments saying i just keep repeating the same thing. Well guess what i repeat the same thing, because the fundamentals of how long-term investing works, the fundamentals of the issues that i address do not change based on which way the wind is blowing today and i'm going to continue repeating the same every single day. So if you want a fresh new best stock, that is definitely going to earn you one million percent in the next four months.
This is not the channel for you. Please do not bore yourself to death and get out on this channel. I am going to make super boring videos about super boring things like optimizing, your investing strategy over time to try and earn maybe 10 or 20 a year. If things go well, that's right a year! That's a really super long time and i would be delighted with only getting 20 because i suck so if you think that i suck and i'm going to be poor because i don't know how to time the market accurately and become really rich really quickly. And all of that complete? Why are you even here if you're, a crypto bro who likes watching the big youtuber, show the latest shiba inu a flocky? You know a noise. What do you know and you are upset, because i call a spade a spade and point out that it is all a giant pile of dog. Then please do me a massive favor and go somewhere else. There are so many echo chambers out there, where you can sit in a discord group all day, sending each other memes about how your 100 investment will buy.
You a lambo by the end of the year, go there and worship the mysterious founder of whatever token it is that you think will make you a multi-millionaire. I'm only ever going to talk about getting rich slow on my channel. So it's definitely not the right thing. For you, if you are annoyed by someone sharing insight and analysis, but not telling you specifically what it is that you should or should not do, then i am really sorry, but i am not the channel that will tell you what you should absolutely buy or maybe What you should absolutely trade i'll share my opinion on stocks.
Sure i'll tell you a lot of stuff that i think, and i'm gon na tell you what i am doing, but so many of my subscribers go and write a comment and says: oh my god. I just listened to this guy for 10 minutes and he didn't even say exactly how i should become a millionaire. You said if you think that the idiots on youtube, who promise you things or tell you that something is definitely going to increase in value, or maybe they know exactly when something will increase in value. If you think that those scumbags are worth listening to then go and subscribe to their channels, instead, there is so much of that rubbish out there.
You can literally watch those channels. 24. 7.. I don't want to have people in my community who have no moral compass.
I don't want to waste my time answering comments from people who have a need for a magic shortcut and i'm not prepared to actually understand that there is no magic solution. I don't want to sit here and pander to the youtube algorithm, because trust me, my channel, could probably be 10 times the size. It is now if i just sat here and made videos about which dog token is going to make you a millionaire every day. I see those exact channels exploding in just a matter of weeks.
They become bigger than me in a fraction of the time that i've been doing youtube. I could sit here and pretend that i'm a trading genius and tell you exactly what each candlestick pattern means, but i will not, because i am not a deranged and i actually care about what i say in the impact that it has. America invade and delete far more people than Russia, Ukraine still treating black people badly even more so than the US especially now like throwing then off trains and buses leaving them to die. Russia is too communist. *Where do you go to the right where nothing is left or to the left where nothing is right*. I stay neutral at all times and show the same amount of hate to both Russia and America. Both countries determine the faith of the world with their nukes and therefore I cannot trust either of them.

Hey Sasha, i have some constructive feedback if you would like to hear it:
* Your thumbnails can be overly clickbaity in my opinion, sometimes they lean on being factually incorrect.
* I don't quite understand why you are trying to beat the market by picking stocks. If you understand long term investing you will know that 92% of people fail to beat the market (compared to S&P 500 or a global index) over 15 years, and that percentage gets closer and closer to 100% as time goes on.
Would be interested in your reply as this feedback is genuinely in good faith.

I'd like to start off with an apology, I made a pretty critical comment the other day and was so livid I debased myself into an all caps rant; while I believe I was right in the core of my point my approach was wrong. The comment pertained to losses and I was displeased with a seemingly educational channel giving what I thought was bad advice and in the spirit of learning I truly believe its better to have civil dialogue so for that reason I apologise and hope you take on board my suggestion to ensure the implementation of Stop Loss facilities to secure profit and never 'Diamond Hand' losses.
With regards to you support of Ukraine and your position therein I commend you, its an honourable thing your doing and while there will always be haters it is important to not simply shut down or exclude opposing views otherwise you will be creating your own 'echo chamber' and for an educational channel and nearly all others this is a very bad idea
Ignore what is clearly aggression and try and debate with those who are open to do so

I watch you for informed opinion on the world of finances, of which I know little. Keep doing what you’re doing, you do it well.
Sasha, I think you're pretty confused here and I think you may be whipping up a drama that simply isn't there. Your support for the crisis in Ukraine is admirable, what's happening over there is nothing short of horrifying and I think the huge majority of people would agree with that. You're putting your money where your mouth is too, nothing but respect from me there.
However, it's your message of people being outraged and disagreeing with your general message on the channel where I think you're misguided. Firstly, I think it's the vast minority of people who have actually displayed any negativity towards you so let's keep it in proportion. Also, I think the main thing that people get frustrated by from your channel is the fact that you use sensational clickbait titles with flaming thumbnails somewhat ironically only to then communicate a long term 'set it and forget it' plain vanilla investing message. The messaging in my opinion is often correct, it's your packaging that's the problem. At this point your channel feels like the 'boy that cried wolf' to me, I just sigh when I see your titles and it stops me watching what could be really valuable content. I think you are a smart guy with a message of value for investors but it's in danger of being lost as I fear you've been sucked too far in to the Youtube battle for clicks.
