So, let's analyze the kid. He and his parents are on vacation. The parents are probably doing adult things. The kid is bored and he is on vacation. What does this guy expect a 12 y.o. kid to do? What did he do when he was 12 y.o. and he went on vacation with his parents? Obviously cell phones weren't around then but it is a changing world. Does this guy have kids and if so, I would like to know how he manages his kids when they're 12 y.o.

At some point, they have to save the dollar. A currency collapse would be devastating.

WHAT WERE SEEING in the poisonous ideology of victimhood in the modern youth and millenials is the byproduct of allowing Democrats and extreme progressive ideologies to filter their poison through the high schools, media, entertainment sectors, and universities year after year……… elections have consequences….

I liked the first bit most, him talking bout kids on smart phones etc, I do wonder if some will ever leave home.

Substandard is the new standard. Kids today are LOST.

Patrick is right. The Fed pumped trillions into the stock and bond market was spoiling for the 1 percent. The 1 percent should learn some character-building lessons like losing, bankruptcy and living below a living wage.

You don't have to agree with what he says 100%.

But that example of letting kids spend time on their phone? That is a hard hitting example, a truth. That is mostly because parents don't wish to deal with their kids anymore.

Just give them a phone, and they'll take care of themselves. And this has been a trend with the kids born with this decade, ever since they were babies.

If they learn something useful out of it, then I might think differently. But most of them just watch short videos.

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Devin Doherty says:

why is phone usage = bad
go back 20 years when they said too much internet was a bad thing. all you're doing is getting left behind the curve.

    Thats the crude truth…….

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars P G says:

He is right. Most of the money distributed tot he poor eventually got sucked out by the rich. Many went ape in the stock market and then lost the stimulus to the game.

    Excellent interview, Wow!

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars zeazi says:

It's not that UBI didn't work, it's that it wasn't paired with a progressive tax policy (which Yang also proposed) to claw back the money from the top so it doesnt flood the money supply. Also, more than 80% stimulus money were for bail outs of crappy businesses like airlines and (sometimes fraudulent) PPP Loans. The stimmy checks were only a small percentage of the money printing.

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Reilly McGlashan says:

maybe I am missing something… Is he talking about the USA with a universal basic income? From what I heard, people in the USA just received a $1200 stimulus check, I mean this is far from being considered basic income. Correct me if I am wrong. How much did the government pay you for not working in the USA during covid?
