Its also truly amazing how many people dont understand the basic difference betweeen LLMs and Palantir's product. How the former can't make decisions, only returns unformation, while the latter actually makes decisions, and how when you combine the two models, you get something that's infinitely more powerful than each of them alone.

They don't "sell" or ""mine" data, but they definitely "enrich" the data. And the line between enriching data and mining data can get blurry.

@TomNashTV actually, and Im sure you know this, Palantir initially started in the Bay Area, with Musk formerly at PayPal (Bay Area company), and Karp formerly from Stanford (based in Palo Alto). They may have rebranded their HQ to Denver but an overwhelming large number of the Intellectual know-how is still coming out of the Bay Area (from Stanford), therefore your comment about them being "different" from the Bay Area and from that "thinking" is farfetched from the actual truth (actually sounds like a bit of a "woke" comment (since you like to use that term about other people and angles) as both were essentially born, bred, educated, and raised in tech in the heart of Silicon Valley.
