Just saw something on the news feed about how the Badger does not fit into their "core" from the financial times and then another article where the CEO says they are going to do stuff even if the GM deal falls through..

There is no shortcut to engineering solutions. If there was then that business model would have been filled and been making products. I have no doubt there were good engineers at Nikola who believed in it, but the company was only every managed to pump stock prices to either sell the company, stocks, or in the hopes that other competitors would be able to build a competent product that they could somehow license and sell and make a profit from (like Nikola suing Tesla for stealing the design they both stole from Tesla and bought from a third party, giving them no rights to any patent whatsoever). Tesla represents what a company can do when all of the stock pumping and business BS is thrown out the window in lieu of pure unadulterated engineering R&D, while Nikola perfectly represents a technology company that ignores all of their engineers and the idea of making a product and bringing it to market.

my advice to all nikola employees is to get out now. If they wait until the sec and doj shuts them down they may not be able to get a job. Especially if they were in a position to know what was going on.

Why does the first insider comment start out using "you" and "you're" for Nikola and then switch to "we" and "our"?
I don't see a problem with "no IP" as people keep saying. There aren't any current competitors making fuel cell big rigs and hydrogen stations. The problem is doing it – whether with their design or anyone elses – and more importantly, doing it at a profit. Although there was a recent announcement that Toyota has partnered with another company to make fuel cell trucks for the USA. Buy there was no talk of where anyone would refuel those vehicles.
Too bad this insider doesn't know anything we the public don't know.
