This doesn't make any sense. If Nikola was to go bankrupt Trevor wouldn't still own 20 % of the his former company and the share price would've dropped. Nikola Corp still maintains resistance point of $ 10.60 per share. Which is a little over the amount the company started with and even analysts whom I don't usually trust, rated it a Hold recently. So in fact, they are slowly recovering.

The whole thing was to arbitrage interest in EVs into a massive pump and dump scheme. Not uncommon now anyway (IIRC Goldman Sachs was selling “shit” to its own clients).

I think they do a secondary well in advance of December for the reasons stated. The stock is still $28 (why, I don't know) When faced with the choice of diluting the shareholders (however badly) versus declaring BK, they will dilute like anything

Tom, Question and problem, you use the June, 2020 cash position of NKLA and then the GM agreement that does show the $700 million investment, however you omitted the $2 billion dollar investment that comes from GM listed in the same agreement, which implies that after NKLA pays GM that they would still have $1.3 billion to add to the $600 million. Could you explain?

As a matter of fact, I don't think this is going to happen. The deal between GM and Nikola was mainly produced by the guy who now replaces Trevor. This guy has a history at GM so this begins to look like a planned action by GM to just obtain the company for a discount. GM will build this company to a sub-brand for EV's and hydrogen. Which is a good thing because GM is an ICE brand. Clever guys at GM. Going to buy Nikola for a discount now and watch GM build this brand.
There seems to be no activity on the factory.

The factory could be financed with a loan from a creditor. The deal with GM could be financed as well over several years.
