Welcome back to my channel, I wanted to put this video up as fast as possible, because I'm gon na Apple events probably actually happening right now, I'm actually watching the Apple event right over there, and today's topic is gon na be about the new Apple credit cards That are coming out with I'm very excited about this. I wanted to give you one of the first reviews about this and say actually just officially announced it. I wanted to wait until the official announcement, so let's get right into the video all right, so the Apple card. There are a couple of good things we want to talk about.
So the first thing Apple's credit card is going to be partnering with goldman sachs. It's gon na be a MasterCard alright, so it's not going to be Amex or visa or Discover it's going to be a MasterCard which is not bad. Goldman Sachs will be the company that will be you'll, be doing the application with along with Apple. This is the rewards.
Okay, so the first reward you're going to get me getting 3 % back cash back every time you go to Apple. So if you buy something at the Apple store - and you go to that house - you know online or in person 3 % cash and back okay, you're going to be getting 2 % cash back if you're using purchases just for anything else and you're going to only Begin 2 % cashback on the one situation, so you actually have to use your iPhone to actually get 2 % back or more iPhone anything it has to be done through Apple pay. Okay, so you begin to percent back that way. Now you'll also be getting 1 % every day with the physical Apple credit card.
So Apple really wants you to use the card through Apple pay, because it's safer through touch ID or face ID like with this phone right here, so you'll be getting on again: 3 %, with Apple stores. Only through Apple pay. You begin 2 % back with any purchase that you make through Apple pay, but let's say that company doesn't or that place that you're at doesn't accept Apple pay and you have to use your physical credit card. You'll still get 1 % cash back when everything at this point in time, they did not mention any caps on the three percent or the two or the one.
I call this pretty much to be a simple with a three to one method. A lot of credit cards out here use the three to one method, with their rewards and apples kind of following suit. Now here is the interesting part, and I'm just going to put a picture up for you guys. So Apple is really big.
They're saying there is going to be no late fees, no annual fees, no international fees and no over-limit fees, which is really good. Okay, so you're not gon na have an annual fee. You're, not gon na have an over-limit fee you're not going to have any late fees or international fees, so international, more than likely means like a foreign transaction fee. Now the card itself Apple made it very simplistic.
I think Apple is really nice, with making things very simple, but yet effective and and nice-looking. So this card is to be made out of titanium, which American Express is Platinum card or Chase Sapphire. I prefer to reserve they're made out of metal a really nice heavy metal Apple is saying that there's just made out of titanium, which is really impressive. So I can't wait to kind of get my hands on one. I'm gon na see what it looks like. It's not gon na have any card number any CVC codes, no expiration dates or anything. So if somebody is around you're trying to get card numbers or - and you know, look at your card or they're gon na be able to do is see the Apple logo and your name, which is really awesome. That is the Apple card, pretty much in a nutshell.
I think this is a pretty good car for somebody who is one: an Apple user that really loves Apple products that buys Apple products constantly, because that's we were going to get your most value right. Okay, you're, going to get your most value with Apple stores. At 3 %, if you're not using the Apple you're, not at the Apple store, again you're using Apple pay, 2 % and 1 % when you're using the physical cart on anything three to one method: that's what this is going to be pretty much to kind of Keep it simple and sweet again: the card is really nice and simplistic. It doesn't have anything on the back or the front except for your name.
But if you need that, if you need that information for yourself to buy things online, they said Apple, you would have that information in your Apple wallet and all that stuff. So you still have that card information for yourself, if you're able to unlock it. With your face your touch ID or your passcode, but to the public you won't, nobody will be able to have that, but that's really really awesome so guys. That is the applecart at this point in time: again: no annual fee, no no's foreign transaction fee or international fee, no late payment fees and no over-limit fees, which is really awesome.
They also talked about the statement cycle. As far as like your general statements, you kind of get your payment that you owe your minimum payment and that's it then kind of your interest rate Apple is gon na. Have this thing where it's gon na be electronic, where it tells you well, if you pay this much, this is how much you're gon na save an interest. If you pay this much, this is how much you're gon na pay an interest.
So actually they actually really want you to be educated financially on what the risk is that you're taking, which is really awesome, but again, if you're following me, we always like to pay our cards in full, but for some that maybe cannot do so. This is an awesome option as well, so guys, let me know what you think again make sure you subscribe to this channel. If you are new, I am doing an amazon gift card giveaway once we hit 2,000 subscribers. Four of you would get that.
I want to thank you so much for tuning in thumbs up this video. You have yourself a good day.
Hi, If someone claimed you on there income tax will I the dependent get a stimulus check?
Even the CapOne QuickSilver still earns better than this on any purchase outside of ApplePay and the QuickSilver doesn’t require you to buy (and stay locked into) Apple’s ecosystem.
Good video! Loved some of your thoughts. I talked about some of your points and others on my channel today. Is this the best card in the market???? probably not but what I do applaud apple for is their commitment to look out for the best interests of the consumer 👏🏼. Good luck trying to find a financial institution that cares about you, most just want to trap you in revolving debt and pile on fees. Its cool to see a company actually try to take a stand against that. With the easy of accessible data and easy to use interface hopefully it helps people be more financially responsible. Hopefully, it works out! 🤞🏼
Nope, I'm in pursuit of Chase!!!!
Do you see this as being a credit builder or starter kit for building or rebuilding credit? I want it to be. This is definitely more secure than any credit or debit out there.
There should be a Public Service Announcement to all the newbies of your channel to not waste a 5/24 slot (or any slot) on this one. Cool card yes, but cool has no value!
To maximize your earnings you'll need to use ApplePay which in turn means you'll leaves your Titanium card in your wallet. What good is looks if you can't show it? And anyone swiping this card at 1% back just to look cool tells me you're not ready for this credit game we play.
Android users are trailer trash.
Cool card. But it's a big pass for me. You hear about the new offers on the Amex Green card?
What if i need to buy something online and i need the actual card number?
Great Info Walt! I find nothing intriguing about this card at all, but I do wonder if any of the other institutions will respond.
Can I use it for trials like Netflix without any credit on it please reply
Great video! Not a fan of the rewards but makes sense being an Apple product. I like the 0 late fee annual fee over limit fee etc etc as well as the tracker about how a payment effects you’re interest which I haven’t seen too many other companies do. But great work once again!
Thanks for sharing. I agree with a previous comment that the card is blah. Other than the aesthetics of the card there's nothing special here. Lack of a decent signup bonus means I'll never blink twice at this card. I get the whole metal, platinum, titanium deal but for me that's just perceived prestige.
A couple neat features but honestly it’s more of a gimmick card that’s trying to trap dumb people into purchasing large items from Apple and try to pay it off for months while accruing interest. I will definitely get the card though because of no AF so free titanium essentially lol.
I wish you got 2% when you use the physical card as well. Any places that offer Apple Pay I generally have another card that I got more benefits than just 2% cash back.
Card seems BLAH! nothing special about it. The only thing that's cool is the card being made out of titanium ( hah Amex Platinum! Lol) …. otherwise the rewards are BLAH!…. This is an easy pass.
can you use this card without having an iPhone?
You think it’s going to be hard to get approval
This is one the reason why I didn’t get get the Barclays one
Seeing as I mainly use Apple products, I’m definitely interested in this card.
