When to buy Ugaz????!!
I overnighted from Friday afternoon and realized 16.2% gain. It was a bit of luck since I was in before the drop. Mathematically, I saw /NG was at the top of a regression channel and I realized winter was nearly over, so it would probably go in favor of DGAZ. I missed a 6% overnight trade when /NG closed near a resistance and wasn't about to miss another opportunity. 2nd easiest trade ever. The easiest was a 3% pop on news that took less than 5 minutes. Neither of those positions had much size. In fact, anyone with a minimum-balance margin account ($2000) could have been able to get over $600 on this move since you get 2x leverage.

I'm trading on RH with less than $200. Learning as much as I can, so that I can trade with bigger funds next winter, 2020. Bought DGAZ last week at 81. I keep going back and forth: should I short-term swing and buy again vs hold until mid-February, hoping it reaches about $120? The possibility of another gov't shutdown makes me concerned as a potential variable. However, I have noticed a distinct spike in prices consistently from late Jan – Mid Feb in 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015. And fall in price in 2014. Who is holding DGAZ until Mid-Feb? Who is swinging it weekly? I don't follow anyone's advice in the end, but I'd like to hear how others are trading.
What should the exit strategy be for DGAZ? Follow it up with a Stop Loss?

Trying to figure out the cause for the sell off but am too green around the gills to decipher this. Was the sell off caused by a new pipeline scheduled for texas in october or just because we have more gas than we need for this this time of the year?

There was some news today that drillers are going to hold back production to help manipulate prices to move back up. However demand is lower this year because this has been a very warm winter so far.

Can someone explain in detail the DECAY factor of holding either DGAZ or UGAZ for more than one day. I was reading the prospectus and it looks like it decays at 1.65% per day or if you hold it 5 days then it decays to zero value?
