Wanted to make a quick video sharing some YouTubers who talk about money that I really like and watch.
I often get asked what other channels I watch and also I haven't really talked about other personal finance channels much so far so I wanted to give some credit where credit is due.
Although I am based in the UK, there aren't that many good personal finance channels here so my list is a bit of a mix with mostly US-based content creators.
If you haven't already subscribed to them, make sure you go ahead and do it because these channels are absolute gold and provide huge amounts of value.
Hopefully there will be one or two that you haven't heard of and if so, make sure you go and check them out because these guys are doing some phenomenal work.

What's up guys sasha here, i often get asked which other youtube channels i watch in the finance niche and which ones i think, are good and also because i watched some other channels. I really wanted to go and give credit to some phenomenal youtube channels, where there's some content creators doing amazing stuff that i feel people need to know about if they don't already. I've made my list of the five favorite ones that i really really like that i wanted to go through now, although i am based in the uk, there aren't that many good youtubers in the uk that talk about personal finance, so i had a quite mixed list Here with youtubers that also um come from across the pond, all of these channels are great and they come in no particular order. Hopefully there'll be one or two channels in here that you haven't already subscribed to so.
If that is the case, first make sure you finish watching the video and then go over and make sure you subscribe to them. So, as i said, without any particular order here is the list here. Are the awesome, five different channels that i wanted to cover? In first, let's go with a big gun: let's go and give credit to meet kevin. If, for some reason you haven't heard of me kevin, this is a one-man global tv network.
He runs best-in-class tv shows literally all day every day. It is phenomenal. What this guy can do, he is a one-man machine that can produce anything. His work ethic is what makes him really stand out from the rest.
The guy produces some up up to six, or sometimes i think, even more videos per day, and you manage to knock them all out, usually by about 5 p.m. Before going and making some more videos on his brand new gaming channel, just for a bit of fun as you do, the quality information is really great, and one thing i really personally admire about kevin is how transparent and honest he is when it comes to talking About finance, there is no pretend there is no hiding. There is no trying to do dodgy stuff or try to take payment for things when he shouldn't be. Oh there's it's just clean clean content, really clear, really direct and the guy just says things how he thinks things.
I really really appreciate it. I've been subscribed some time now and the channel's been exploding literally over the last few months, and rightly so. Whether you want an in-depth breakdown of the news, live streams from markets, education, how to invest in property or anything in between kevin is your guy. Now, let's move on to number two number two: i have another us-based channel that i really love and this one's called the plain bagel richard who runs the channel is the sort of down-to-earth guy that you'd love to go and grab a beer with his channel has Completely blown up with videos explaining major financial crises and issues to do with broader economic questions in a very entertaining sort of graphicsy kind of way very heavy editing.
His newer videos are more like the normal sort of run on the mail, personal finance, youtuber stuff. We've been talking about everything from tesla stock through to the fire movement, but he still has his unique sort of perspective that i find hard to disagree with. Even if i disagree with it now, the plain bagel channel goes a lot broader than some in terms of their topic. Selection - and you know you might talk one day about the economy of the 1930s and the next day - he's talking about forex trading and then he's talking about how to not get into some kind of investing scams. But it's really worth it. He puts out slightly fewer videos than kevin with maybe like one every week or every two weeks, but that means you don't have to watch 100 episodes of what the latest update on the stimulus check is so yeah. There are some advantages to that as well. At number three, i have a uk personal finance channel and this one's really new.
It's only about nine months old, it's called damien talks, money he's the uk trooper, who is growing massively fast, and he has quite a unique combination of straight talking and really high quality. Editing he packs a huge amount of information into his videos, there's some jokes and anecdotes in there, but the best thing that i really like about this video is: whenever he covers a topic, he tells it like a story, so you will have a really in-depth explanation Of whatever the subject is, but it's not boring, it's not factual. It's not kind of a download of things. You can easily go and sit through a video and not realize you've listened to him talking for 10 minutes.
Damien must spend days, maybe weeks, editing each of these videos, because the amount of effort he puts in is infinitely more than i ever have with my videos and the final product is fantastic you're, getting huge amounts of engagement, loads of people commenting and his fan base. Really shows that the quality that he's putting into every video is resonating. If you are based in the uk, and you want a great channel that really cuts through the mud or if you're not based in the uk. And you want to listen to this guy's talk because he should make sure you go and subscribe to him, but finish watching this video first next to my list is james johnny.
You might have heard of him and yes, it's true. He is not really a finance youtuber, in fact he's kind of in a league of his own when it comes to everything when it comes to his niche. When it comes to the kind of videos he does, he can't pigeonhole him into any kind of group he's like a category all by himself. Most of his content actually boils down to money topics, however, so that's why i included him on my list.
His channel is epic. This is a young guy who self-taught himself how to make seriously high caliber documentaries and decided that he would make a load of them for youtube, documentaries, dive deep into the murky worlds of online gurus, multi-level marketing and money in general. This guy is somebody who breaks every rule in the book about how you should do a youtube channel and has come out winning big he's made a grand total of 11 videos and already has over 600 000 subscribers, and you know what i think it's gon na Go a lot bigger than that anyway. Next on my list, let's talk about a guy who really does say what he thinks and holds no prisoners. He doesn't stand for any kind of bs and his channel only recently got big and you might not have heard of him. His content is really heavily focused on investing, as he himself would frequently put it in his own videos. He is a brother from another mother. He is also born in russia and also moved abroad to the west.
He is over in the us and after working in the banking industry. For some time, he's decided that he wants to go move on to youtube to talk about finances yeah. We share a lot more than maybe i realized tom got a lot of early traction on his channel for calling out lots of scams and he made a lot of videos where he pointed out some things that were maybe not quite as they looked and at one Point he was talking about some companies that were doing some dodgy stuff and one of those companies and decided they wanted to go and chat shut, his channel down, which they got almost done. They got very, very close to literally kicking him off youtube, but the truth and transparency honestly prevailed in the end and he lived to tell the tale, and now he has 160 000 subscribers.
One thing i really like about thomas is no nonsense: simple, stock, deep dives, he has his own model, which has been simplified a lot for the purpose of youtube, which i really like. He explains everything really clearly and fully and when he picks particular stock for a particular valuation. It really is a great short video that really helps a lot of people understand a bit more about the companies they talked about. It's inspired me to go and do something really similar myself, although in a very different way, and in a few weeks, i'm going to begin doing something in the same sort of space but make sure you subscribe if you're interested in deep dives on specific stocks.
To my channel as well as all of these guys that i'm talking about so this is my top five favorite youtube channels that are in the personal finance niche. If you have not already done it, make sure you go over and subscribe to all the channels. Thank you very much for watching. I really really appreciate it and see you guys later.
You.
Finally I got confirmation you was born in Russia) appreciate your videos, good job, cheers!
Amazing to see the growth of some of these channels! If you're a small channel, keep up the hard work and one day success will surely come your way!!
Great videos Sasha, and thanks for sharing these channels.I watched some videos from a couple of guys "Money Unshackled", have you see them, what do you think?
👍Thanks Sasha, your recommendations are now part of my portfolio of YouTube rs.
@Sasha
I also like The Plain Bagel. Other good ones with integrity like you: PensionCraft, a physics graduate, was a bond analyst, taught options, now full time Youtuber on long term investment, is a quant, excellent videos.
Patrick Boyle, Finance Professor, quant, hedge fund manager, humorous.
Coffeezilla, USA, reports on scams, humorous.
He's running for Governor, who knows. Everyone will know him them
Love the videos and no nonsense information on investing and other finance platforms- keep em coming!
Hi Sasha, great recommendations and I'm subscribing to all of them. Quick recommendation from me, have a look at Jennifer Kempson aka Mama Furfur. I'm slightly biased as she is the only Youtuber from Scotland doing financial and investment content that I've found.
Keep up the good work and I hope your move to doing more on YouTube goes well.
Appreciate this. I'm sure the intent was reciprocation, but useful nonetheless. Really enjoy your style and straight talking sense.
Dam you didn't put me in? 😂 I'm messing. Great videos 👍🏽
The old” I scratch your back, you scratch mine” routine.
YouTubers just boosting each other. What’s new?
Tom Nash is King.
Meet Kevin should stay in his lane and stick w real estate.
your the only money channel i can stomach and understand !
Hey thanks for the shoutout brother! You got a great channel. See you at 100k soon!
Cool to see your choices and including some smaller channels. Thanks for sharing 👍
Great vid mate. If you get a chance watch motivation2invest. He talks specifically about stocks
It’s safe to say that you are our graham Stephan equivalent lol
The "dividend experiment" is pretty good. Just starting up again after a sabbatical.
Don’t tend to watch US finance as not often that relevant but I quite like Andrei Jikh as he’s engaging. Not heard of the others’. No Conversation of Money. He’s pretty knowledgeable.
Glad you didn’t do the cliche names as it’s good to find some lesser known channels. Interesting it’s all men though – just an observation!
The problem now is I don't know who's fake and who's real anymore and I can't afford to be influenced with dishonest or misleading info as you pointed out in one of your videos. Sad really but it's left me cautious.
Great video Sasha, really appreciate the effort to put multiple videos a day, the channel Learn to Invest is amazing as well
My top five
Nate O’Brien
Tommy Bryson
Graham Stephan
Investing with rose
Chris Hogan (to get out of debt)
My favorites outside of this list – Joseph Carlson, The Popular Investor, Paul Briscoe and for crypto Coin Bureau and Onyx Block.
Nice healthy list Sasha! Surprised Graham Stephan and Money Unshackled aren't here..! Have recently subscribed to yours and Damiens channel as I love the Great British honest commentary on finances 🙂
Pensioncraft in the u.k is good also , ironically watched a vid about fake gurus this morning by james jani , up till then never heard of him
I've not heard of any of them… I get most of what I need from here… 😎
What about Paul Briscoe? He's a pretty good UK finance Youtuber.
Seriously Sasha . I was going to ask who is your favorite finance youtuber but now you answered all )))
Iam more like a podcast guy
Can you recommend me any good podcaster who is worth listening to and I can find on Spotify?
@Sasha Yanshin I feel the same in regards to some of the channels you have mentioned and I have been already subscribed and following Damian Talks Money and James Jani, but I think you've missed out on some other great content creators. US-based Let's Talk Money! with Joseph Hogue, CFA and UK-based Money Unshackled (really good chanel for beginners). Have a look at these two.
Interesting. Thanks Sasha! I am already subscribed to Damien Talks Money, and I will certainly be giving Tom Nash a look up…..right now!👍
nah bro, i only now Sasha Yashin in terms of integrity and honesty! bless you!
