A few points he makes, and my thoughts:
“Statistically, most people don’t make it.”
This is something that, UNFORTUNATELY…is true. MOST people will not be successful. Most people will not become wealthy. But, that doesn’t mean you can’t try, and that you can’t do things that will stack the odds in your favor. It’s like rolling the dice ONCE and trying roll a 12…the chances of that happening are 1 in 36, which works out to be almost 3%…but, the more you roll the dice, the higher your chances become of rolling the 12.
“I think getting rich is a fluke, there’s so much luck in it.”
So, THIS is the point where I begin to disagree with his statement…because, the way I see it, becoming “Wealthy” - which, I’ll define as a net worth over $1 million dollars, for sake of this argument…has very little to do with luck, and much more to do with persistence, delayed gratification, consistency, and time. Now, I don’t want to dismiss that there IS some factor of “luck” that exists, beyond our control, although building wealth is - largely - driven by so many other factors, and according to one of the largest studies on Millionaires, 80% of them are first generation rich, and the majority of millionaires have one single thing in common: they live below their means.
There ARE actionable, measurable steps that ANYONE can take if they want to become wealthy:
Improve your credit score, save your money, live below your means, open up a retirement account, invest consistently, continue learning, improve your skills, and don’t give in to lifestyle inflation. If you just follow THAT - I PROMISE you’ll be SOOO much wealthier than the average Joe on the street. .
So, those are my thoughts on PewDiePie’s video, and overall, I enjoyed his reaction and am super happy to be a (small) part of the video!

Which backyard
You cannot make the argument that becoming rich is ultimately a matter of luck without getting rid of free will
LUCK = When preperation meets opportunity
The way you said about uk tax isnt correct, all of money erant isnt in the 45% it a sliding scale. So untill he hit the limit of each tax level he will on pay that %. So if you get 30k you pay tax at 20% untill the limit then the rest goes in to the next bracket and so on
watching in 2023. Happy birthday
great stuff
I'm new to cryptocurrency and I don't understand how it really works. I've lost quite a large amount of BTC investment due to the current drop. Can anyone show me the right approach to invest with cryptocurrency and get good profits??

You play drums?
pewdiepie x graham collab?
I love Graham so much because I can identify with him so much and I can understand his frugality. I had a bank account since I was seven which my dad opened for me to place all my saved allowance and gifts in. We run a hotel business. The neighbor saw me collecting rain water to use for laundry and asked me once if our electricity has been cut off. I responded that I just don't see the need to turn on the lights and I bought solar lights I use most of the time. I also make sure I use discount apps to pay for all my expenses hell I get .50 cent vouchers to buy burgers, spaghetti, and milkshakes. I only use grab to buy food because of their discount vouchers. I never paid full price for my utilities mostly 20% off minimum due to affiliate discounts sotes and I get free points for paying in advance and I really wait for sale season to buy my necessities like a jacket from the off season rack. My credit line is 60k and I used only 114 this month. I pay in credit only to gain access to discounts, otherwise I'd mostly pay in cash. I save 95% of my income and invest them in stocks and other instruments. I'm glad I had an auditor as a father which made me choose to become one as well amd school was bery usedul for business as I am my own accountant and tax consultant.
For the algo😎
Tbh i'm kinda sad that that pewds said that he got everything he has now mostly coz a mere luck
Because the main reason i was his fans because he put a lot of extra efforts doing dumb-silly stuffs that rly entertain me, CONSISTENTLY
There're a lot of gaming youtubers, but i chose him as my number one because of that, and i believe so many ppl did
So again, it's sad hearing him talk like that, because that's like he degrade(?) (idk the right word) himself, years of his efforts, persistence, and sacrifice
Well you know that he definitely sacrifice his manhood when he dance with bra on 😌
Pewdie pie is a guy who gets rich by luck, he will never understand people who get rich by hard work
What part of the millionnaires have only inherited their wealth ?
National Insurance is (healthcare, pension, unemployment benefits) all in one. the more you make, the more you pay, and everyone is entitled to the same benefits, in particular where healthcare is concerned.
beats the US healthcare non-system
This is actually the video that introduced me to your channel, and now I've been watching every video ever since
Its such a stupid and sad mindset to think people mainly get rich out of luck. Poverty mentality!!
<I love your video at large but i will advice everybody who is into cryptos to Stick with ETH and BTC as much as you can guys. 2021 will be completely different. Mason Mateo also did a great work with my trades and increase my crypto using price action margin.i had enough BTC and still trading for more. If everyone sells when it starts to fall, which at one point it will, the dream may be lost because of it being too volatile for companies to get behind.
Money is a necessary but not sufficient condition for happiness.
Guess the question then is how much money? Well, that’s complicated. I think it depends in part on how well one can manage and deal with the stresses that come with surviving in an economy like ours.
Happy birthday nigga
Question..your analogy about the dice rolling…isn't that the gambler's fallacy? I think the probability remains the same as you roll.
graham happy birthday! thanks for being awesome!
I like how Graham is always respectful even when someone “roasts” him.
Veritasium made a good video some time ago that luck does indeed play a big role in success. Successful people just have a natural bias against it since it would reduce the worth of their own time and effort they put in to get successful. Pewdiepie seems to be aware of that.
i think pewds meant that luck does factor in after all the hard work and everything a person does. There might be many people working hard, making investments, trying to make it big. But if some things turn to go the bad way for them that hugely affects them. Also you have to take into account where people come from. Your way or rules might not be universally working but only worked for the certain conditions you were in. That is not to discredit a person but just to be an additional factor among a lot of things that can make you that successful.
Oh how can u plug that fucking Napoleon Hill book, surely u noticed it was a con book
Graham I just wanted to let you know that I’ve been watching you for years and you motivated me to finally start my YouTube channel. I kept telling myself that I don’t have time and I finally stopped making excuses and I started. Thank you for the motivation and keep up the good work.
Really enjoyed your response. I like how you expanded on some of my ideas that I explained poorly and gave good arguments against some too. Welcome to floor gang 💪
