Would it be smart to sell TESLA at 429 if it goes up or more and then buy back again if it goes down to 385. Because of the election etc…what is everyone going to do?

Long or TSLA?! At over 1000p/e, TSLA is one of the most expensive stocks in the market right now. Either day trade Tesla or avoid it altogether. Right now people only buy TSLA hoping someone else will pay even more for it. There are better deals out there.

Aside from my swing trading and options, I have around 60% of my capital invested in investments/ longer term stocks and funds. Half of them are short term investments, holding stocks and funds with a lot of potential when the market recovers. The other half is stocks and funds I don't plan to sell, because aside from their recovery and growth potential, they pay unique crazy high dividends, relative to their discount prices from the crash, where every 1-3 years the investment is returned, plus with reinventing the dividends into bee dividends there's the compounding interest concept that applies too. So there's automatically more and more to grow and pay more and more. Lol.

Bro i dont know if ull read this man but uhhh… i just wanna thank you man been lookin into stock market for a while. You really gave me the cofidence or certainty that i needed. Im now averaging about $200 a day and only looking forward.

I couldn't put all my long-term investing into individual stocks without an ETF. Definitely 20% max into any 1 given stock.
Overall 50% into a Total USA stock market ETF (VTI, ITOT, or SCHB), and the other ETFs or individual stocks for the other 50% in a taxable account.
2 mistakes i used to make was
1) not having money in my account to take advantage of drops bc i had it all invested and 2) waiting too long for a drop that a lot of times never came, or if it did, by that time my dollar cost average woulda been up anyways.
If you truly want to be a long term investor in a stock/etf. Get in now! of course dont just get in blindly, check the chart/news see whats coming up for that Security but dont wait toooo long and dont use all your money. Leave some for an opportunity that absolutely will eventually come.
I’m a college student and bought 9 shares of Tesla at 384! I also have 11 shares of Apple at 116 a share. I’m holding long term I know it’s eventually gonna pay off.

Oh man! Like you said its hard pill to swallow… I am not freaking out about TESLA but I made mistake and stuck up there! I know I will exit but today when TESLA was selling off reaching $410 I was so upset missing that opportunity! And I have to wait for unknown time… Today when I was smiling to friends inside me was burning… lol… Have a great weekend Ricky! I will check it out the Wall Street hoodies on the third link ……
