This marks my second week short selling and today I made a pretty basic mistake of having a heavy position on a stock that quickly changed directions. I hesitated to reduce position size. Excited to get better with both my position size and locking in profits!

First Robot-Air-Taxi mover, Ehang, is a Tesla baby with 100x potential. It is flying in Europe, China, South Korea, Middle East. Factory is completing in June. Its market cap is 1/550 of Testla. But at $27 and hold for $5000 in 5-10 years.
Shorting so zoomed in will most definitely get you wrecked. We are still in a bull market.
Your short position will do well , Tesla will sell off aggressively starting tomorrow , and the day after .
Yikes, I have lost a lot on TSLA options also, I am thinking Mondays Earnings will drive the price up this week, maybe a 5 % or more increase on Mondays news

You’re shorting TSLA but it had already broken the 200MA and finding support around that area. So shorting it was trading against your own plan?

Learning points of the video:
1) Ricky hesitated to cut losses because the position was too big, he sized in a bit too early while still short selling but he isn't afraid to admit it which is really admirable
2) Because the position size was too big, it was harder to manage risk because the dollar amount that he was down is too much
This is why proper risk management and position sizing is so important to manage the emotional part of trading! Thanks for the reminder Ricky!
