Connor, on your first BILI trade, curious whether you noticed big sellers at $15.50. Could have bailed out at the bid with 18 cents of profit for $540.

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Brendan Fressola says:

I think Cramer can help with short term stuff a lot. He said to be careful of amd today before the open- many times his insights are correct, more often than not imho

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mumbling Midget says:

How did that happened I thought you used market order? I saw your the order just moved up with the price but didn’t fill.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars 87mustang347 says:

So how do you not get filled with a market order? I thought that was a guarantee fill every time, is that broker issues?

MY FRIEND ,YOU NEED TO LEARN MARKET VOLATILITY …..REMEMBER VOLATILITY IS THE STATISTICAL MEASURE OF A MARKETS TENDECY TO RISE OR FALL SHARPLY .THERE IS TOO MUCH SHORT TERM FLUCTUATIONS,STAY AWAY..TOO MUCH DELAYS BECAUSE OF HIGH VOLUME……VERY EASY TO BUY BUT WHEN ITS TIME TO SELL IS A DIFFERENT STORY BECAUSE YOU MIGHT NOT GET FILLED ON THE PRICE YOU WANT ,SO YOUR MING GOES INTO PANIC MODE …SO IN A FAST MARKET YOUR FRIEND IS THE LIMIT ORDER BECAUSE YOU CAN PLACE A BUY OR SELL AT A PREDETERMINED AMOUNT OF SHARES AT OR BETTER WITH A GOOD PRICE… IT MAY COST YOU MORE BUT YOUR PURCHASE OR SELL IS SET…it takes a lot of years and risk management to day trade its just to fast for a guy like you or me……that's for the big boys ,,you know 'THE MARKET MAKER'S……………GOOD LUCK

Damn buddy. Thanks for the transparency haha. Im curious if youve ever considered just putting out small sized "feelers" out there and size into the trade if it starts working? Or just full in full out kindof guy?

New to all this…When you sell stocks on TD Ameritrade do you have instant access to your funds or you have to have a Margin account to not wait 2 days?

You'll get it back in no time. Thanks for sharing.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jack Dupp says:

You kept saying that AAPL was being squeezed. Why? It makes it through ATH and through a whole number (130) and has very little short interest. Wasn't it merely institutional accumulation? Why call it a squeeze?

i like seeing what i'd do in comparison

i would've traded IGC almost exclusively today, but by the time VTVT hit my scanner due to my filters, it would've been too late for me and i wouldn't chase that (plus it doesn't fit my strategy)

i don't really go for BILI due to it not having enough volatility for me and it moves slower overall (probably because of price), but that spike overnight and really narrow range following tells me it's going to dip hard on market open, and it did and i would've shorted with a trailing stop just outside its volatile range (only if it didn't fall under SSR, which i think it did), if i can't short, i'd wait for the oscillation, buy as soon as the next candle turned green with a relatively tight stop and sold at 15.35 because it's right under the overnight high, which would likely act as a resistance due to the oncoming skeptics getting into BILI today

then it instantly dropped after the ~15.35 mark and i would've reversed my trade, but for a significantly shorter hold this time due to its fading oscillation, holding only to 15.20 (the overnight stable price), because that's probably where it's going to consolidate for the next 15-30 mins, give or take
looking at the BILI graph for today, it looks like it would've worked out

i would've also long OGEN out of the gate with a tight trailing stop to scalp some, and then IGC from 8.85 to 9.30 (my prediction was that i'd jump, and since it didn't out of the gate, i highly anticipated it would be delayed, and the extreme dip out of the gate would make me more enticed into buying after that dip)

on my own, i would've done IGC out of the gate went long 9.50, getting trailing stopped out ~10.00, flipped position to 8.85, and flipped position again to a trailing stop out at 9.26; theoretically, that's 22.89% gains riding the oscillations for the first 15-20 minutes and called it a day

    anybody else?
