Let's go ahead and start sharing my screen so you guys can see exactly what it is that I'm looking at just so you can see I have no open position with Meta. Um I Don't like to trade earnings. it's just personal preference I Feel like there's a lot of volatility during the actual earning reports I Like to stay cash I Like to wait for the market to react because we've seen good earnings and yet the market reacts in a negative way. We've seen bad earnings and the market react in a positive way Andor Vice versa, right? No one ever knows exactly what's going to be reported, so why pretend to, right? I Like to stay cash I Like to wait for the Market's reaction and then if I see something that I can take advantage of, then great I can choose to strike.

But at least I don't open myself to an uncontrollable amount of risk, right? Let's go ahead and quickly talk about what the Market's expectation is. Um for these Q3 earnings. so uh for October 25th, uh, 2023, earnings per share is $364 revenue is 33.577002 I do want to share with you just like I talked about in uh, the video that I uploaded literally right before this. Based off of its previous three quarterly earning reports, we've seen Gap UPS Gap ups and GAP UPS Well, this time we are trading below the EMA line.

It's been kind of trading sideways for some time since Q3 right? Or since the last uh, pre Q2 quarterly reports, we'll see, We'll see if this time we gap down and or if based off of those new glasses that they came out with and with the new form of meta verification and a new stream of Revenue if they exceed expectation, it should be quite interesting. Uh, to see, especially because a big Focus for Meta has been artificial intelligence and the Metaverse, right? Positive or negative reaction. Right now. we're down 4.1% on the day. Is Meta going to beat Or Miss expectation? so looks like it's going green, but again, it's super early so it could easily go red.

Let's see what happens here. It's previous three quarterly earning reports have been all um Gap Gap UPS right? I Talked about that in today's earlier video Let's see break even break even it's still trying to decide. Reminder for all of our beginners: Um I I Wouldn't you know if I was a beginner? I would not be trading? uh, during earning season. It's just too risky.

Uh, it's not that you can't make money. You definitely can. It's just a very risky time to, you know, trade. Uh, and there it goes.

It's Going Green Reacting in a positive way. Look looks like we're up about 1% Let's see. did it report I Don't see it on my side just yet. Do you guys see it on your side? Uh, it's up about 1% on the day.

Again, it's still too early to tell. We've seen these fake outs many, many times. All right, all the way. all the way right back down.

It's up about half of a percent after market hours. It's current market cap is 770 billion right before it closed. All right, we're going back to pretty much break even for Meta. Nothing yet on my side.

All right, you guys, let me know in the live chat. is it going to beat or Miss expectation? Uh, based off the previous three quarterly earning reports we've seen Gap up it has been trading sideways. So um, my my only question is I want to know when to introduce its meta? uh verification Revenue I Feel like that's going to be a big surprise? Uh, obviously it's already something that the Market's expecting. Um, but I would That's one thing that I really wanted to look into with how many people are now paying for verification? Uh, they're making hundreds of millions of dollars, if not a few billion.

Uh, just based off of that verification badge. So just another. Revenue Source right? Another Revenue stream from for Meta: I Mean when we talk about companies that are cashr, Meta's up there. All right.

How was the rest of the market? We got Apple In the green, Meta in the green, everything's pretty much Break Even we got QQQ Okay, we have it in the green. Anything yet? No. NADA Oh, and did it just get release? No, that is. is that that's previous? Yeah, that's the old one.

Okay, all right, what are we doing here? Come on Meta. Sometimes it's five minutes after the market closes. So um, that might be the case today. A descending wedge on NASDAQ I Don't care about any technicals right now.

Technicals mean absolutely nothing to me. Um, when it's earning reports, right? it's we're trading based off of fundamentals. When earning reports get released, it's news, right? I Don't care what you're I mean I'm a technical Trader It'd be so naive for me to be like, no, My technical analysis says this. Who cares? Who cares what the technicals say? Technicals can't predict earning reports, right? Very big difference? All right.

Look at that down 1.8 2% 2.5% all in favor of the Bears it missed 3.84% Wowzers wait wait wait wait down 3% Oh boy is this going to be a fake out. A nice little bear trap? No, this is Red. What did it report? Do any of you guys have it? Investing.com likes to be delayed? Come on buddy. We don't have all day down.

3.8% 3.2 Look at that. Now it's beginning to bounce. Dude, these fake outs I'm telling you when we talk about hey, there's a lot of volatility And you know, during earning reports, you need to know when to lock in profits. You need to know when to manage or mitigate risk.

We're not joking. This is why we say that it's not for beginners, right? This is not a time where you want to try to test things out. Not during this time. It's like learning how to play soccer on game day kind of like I did yesterday and then you just suck.

Here it goes. 2. uh, 2% in the red. Looks like it's trying to come back.

not showing much progress just yet. What it report? Come on dude. you worthless website. All right.

They do have a Q3 conference call. uh that will be out today. How is QQQ in the green when Meta is still in the red? That's what I want to know? Oh, that's something completely different. Oh my gosh.

Apple's up pre-market aftermarket. All right. Is anything else in the red only Us Kik Just NASDAQ still trying to run up. That's wild I had a tusla do today.

Yep, consistent sell off even after it really really tried. Look at that fake out. nice little bull trap I'm sure that made a lot of people happy. What the heck? Look at that? Meta is making its way back back into the green after being down 4% How much has it recovered already? 3% so far H Were any of you guys able to get the earnings? Have they not reported yet? What's this? 4% move? Just a forecast.

Just a fake out. Talk about a bear trap. I've seen a lot of fake outs before before earnings, but not one that moves forward 4% You're talking about 4% for a $770 billion company That's insane all within two candles. That's wild.

Did it get leaked? Someone got out very quick. Is it going to be really really bad? It's down 1% right now. Nothing yet. Yeah.

we got NASDAQ In the Green Wild down less than 1% 77% so far. How the hell are you going to buy? The market is done. It's called extended hours trading during extended hours Again, we explained it in Lpp. Wouldn't expect you to understand if you're an absolute beginner.

nothing on my side. So their earnings call is at 5:00 p.m. eastern time which is 1 hour e EDT Yeah, that's 1 hour after the market closes, but that's the earnings call earning report should be before. Yeah, all of these sides right after the Bell Boom oh my goodness.

Someone call the bird catcher cuz this. P oh my God this thing I was like someone call a bird catch CU This thing is taking off a quick reversal. Dude, what the heck is going on? Look, look at this. I have not seen one like this.

Wow, what a surprise. This is insane. Hey, at least they keep it interesting. Let's see what are we going to get down? 3% aftermarket hours? Meta: Yes, 16 minutes after the market closed? That does.

Oh, that is so Random look at that from 4% in the green to 4% in the red I mean probably was 5% in the red right from Market close. Where did Market close at? Look at that back in the green. What did it report you dirty dog? It doesn't tell me. Holy Smokes.

Wow Wow wow. We got NASDAQ Market all over the place. Look at that up Four: 4% Going back to retest previous Highs At 314 For Meta, you have to also remind yourself Meta is down 4% on the day. so is it just recovering to previous highs? That's not much progress, right? It's progress.

Not much progress though. There it goes. Oh uh. Revenue Beat It by a decent amount 34.1 5 billion versus the expectation of 33.577002 based off of uh, those verification badges.

See if it shows us Holy Smokes: 5% in the green, 5% in the green and it's not stopping. This is this could have been potentially I mean if you're a sniper, this could have been a 10% move. Look at that. from lows to high, obviously you have to be an insane Sniper I'm not.

uh, 10.62% It's hit highs of 3 16 already and it's not stopping just yet. Everything else is up after market hours Amazon up 1.1% Microsoft Ah, barely up about 0.8 we got Tesla in the green. This is helping the overall NASDAQ Market NASDAQ Market is up 3% Wow. Wow.

Wow. Okay and here it goes. Going back to retest: Looks like the Market's still digesting. so it does have its Q3 earnings call and that's 1 hour after the market close.

So that's in about what is that? 40 minutes from now? Something to take into consideration. We can see a complete shift. We've seen this many, many times. Um, where it's up during the earnings report and it could be down during the earnings call.

The only reason I'm sharing this with you is I don't want you to be surprised I don't want it to be out of nowhere, right? I at least want you to be aware that this has happened in the past before. not that it's going to, but that it has I know in my experiences I Had to learn everything from my own experiences, right? So there's the earnings report which was just released and it beat expectation rightfully so in the Green. 4% in the green so far. By the time that it reports and has its earnings call based off of what is said, earnings Call talks about its previous quarter, but then also specific questions are asked about upand cominging quarters, right? And that to me is often more valuable for current investors, right? Not just how we've done in the past, but how are you going to continue to stay profitable and grow in the future? Common sense, right? That is going to happen in the next 39 minutes.

Uh, and I do plan to. uh listen in I will Not be live and I Also, do want to let you guys know that in about 15 minutes Jerome Pal, the head of the Federal Reserve is going to be going uh, live and having a speech. uh, he's going to have some introductory uh' remarks, but I can't imagine him saying it's just a lecture. Um, but the Federal Reserve put it in its calendar just if he says anything that gives Moris hints of being hawkish or dovish during because of specific economic data that has been more recently released right like today's New Home sales.

Uh, we caught this one during today's live stream. New home sales came in much higher than what was expected and this expectation was greater than the one prior. So they've already probably factored in that hey, we're we're seeing big jumps. Let's take that into consideration.

No, this one came in at 759k. I Mean that means more new homes are being sold than what was expected. You might be like Ricky Why is that a bad thing? It's not that it's a bad thing, it's that the economy is not slowing down. it's actually doing better than what was expected.

And this brings concern to the Federal Reserve Because that's how inflation, you know started right when when we are not slowing down the economy, then we're not slowing down inflation. Uh, how do we slow down the economy? We raise interest rates, so if we create more interest rate hikes, Market's not going to like that. it's more expensive to borrow money. It's more expensive to borrow money.

Again, interest rates right now for a mortgage on average are 7 to 8% Imagine if interest rates were 10 to 15% very little people would be taking out mortgages. You'd really slow down the economy right? com common math, right guy? Math guy. math. Wow.

But again, Meta earnings Meta up 4% Beat expectations for its earnings per share and its overall revenue, and in the next 35 minutes it's going to have its earnings call which can be the second. Catalyst We don't know if it's going to be good, we don't know if it's going to be bad, it's just based off of what they state in that and express right. You know, do they have good things and good good growth coming in the upcoming quarters? or do they expect a slow down right? and based off of their guidance, it will determine if Meta continues to rally and stay in the green. this would be great momentum for Amazon stock tomorrow.

Uh, as it reports earnings after the market closes or it can just be another. Domino right? that that stand stands in its way and I think we have Apple earnings next week. Apple's the biggest tech company that's publicly traded, so pretty significant. But Apple has been, uh, going through the trenches recently.

Uh, really nice pullback. lower lows, lower highs? uh, testing its support at the moving average from its highs of 197. it's now trading at 170, so really nice pullback. but we we'll have to wait and see what happens with that.

overall. NASDAQ Market It's in the green, but not very much. about a quarter of a percent. Uh, which is good for Tqq because that's up about 67% but again, nothing too significant for Meta.

I'm sorry, nothing too significant for Nasdaq Uh, most of the movement is really just all staying within Meta and rightfully so, right? Uh, it just correlates on over to its market cap. It's big. Uh, it's 770 billion. Uh, but it's not Apple big, right? It's not 2.7 What is it now? 2.68 It's been losing a bit, so um, excited to follow up.
