Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior
All right, good morning. Well we've got about um, 30 minutes the opening bell. So as we get started here this morning, I'll be going over my watch list. We'll see if we can find a couple of stocks to trade.
I'm hoping that we see a little bit of momentum I Just broke the ice with the first trade and I was comparing it to IMX yesterday. So for those that recall yesterday on IMX we had this pop-up at like 8 A.M It sold off, gave back almost the whole thing and then it curled back up, pulled back, curled back up and it kind of gave us this um, you know it ended up retesting the high of that candle. uh, which was pretty impressive I didn't expect it so on Imv when I saw this pattern right in here I thought okay, maybe we've got something we can work with here. It's kind of similar a pop-up a pullback starting to move away.
And it did. but now of course on this candle, we've got a high volume Red Bar and this candle right here. particularly high volume red candles so well that didn't up holding up the way I hoped it would. Of course if it had gone to 75 and 80 at a certain point, it's going to go up too far if you just keep waiting to break the ice.
So there was some range here from three up to 365, but unfortunately it didn't hold up. Breaking the ice though today felt important because I didn't take any trades yesterday. Yesterday was a no trade day. Monday was a small green day Tuesday was a I was read 5000 before finishing small Green Day and then no trades on Wednesday So I definitely felt like this morning sitting down.
Gosh, I really don't want another no trade day but when I sat down early and of course my routine is pretty much the same each day I sit down and I look at my scans and I'll often do that on my phone. you know I actually put my phone in the other room to play music so the dog wouldn't bark too much. but um, and there's no guarantee that's even gonna work. But in any case, you know I'll pull up the scans on my phone I'll just see what? What are the gappers this morning and this morning you know our leading Gap are 63 Cent stock Srzn and you guys know I don't usually like these low price stocks, although after the Am am squeeze on Friday I'm wanting to try to keep an open mind.
um and let me I'm going to switch back over here to my chart. So um, I'm in a different environment here today. We have two stage two staging environments. One that's like, um, actively pushing changes to test immediately whether or not those changes are resulting in the performance improvements that we want, and then this version which is a little bit more stable.
I've been on the like The Cutting Edge environment pretty much since we started using it, but they made a change that it's actually caused a problem today. So I'm switched off of that and I'm on this one. So now I've got to add my indicators back on. so let's see um moving average exponential.
All right. So I'm going to do uh, no. one second I don't care about that. I'm going to change this to 9. That's fine style. I like it to be kind of like a grayish color. That's fine. Um, and then this one.
I'm going to change to more of cyan color, change it to 20. and then that's actually fine for the one minute. just those two time frames and then I've got to add a V web which I always put in Orange All right, so change that Orange and that'll do all right. So now I'm going to save chart layout.
Uh, see, this is something that is. Let's see. um I Always struggle to think of a good name lay out one minute. I could just go with like standard Ross layout one minute.
but on the other hand, um, be like Ross um indicators. There we go and actually have Macd on there too. Oh wait, I was loading the layout save okay and then I'll just knock the the Macd off of that chart. and I don't use Macd on my daily and I don't use it on the five minute.
Okay, okay, so um oops oops Okay, so um srzn yeah I'm I'm not interested in that one right now. I mean we had that awesome move on Am but um I don't know Oh I saw RNA nice move yesterday. Yeah, all we will. Once we get sort of the engine running a little bit better, we'll we'll work on the color spectrum on this because it's not my favorite layout right now.
It's a little. it's not as, um, it doesn't pop as well, but we just I Gotta get the other things out first and so many people will change their layouts. I mean some people use white layouts so use whatever you'll be able to change. you'll be able to change it around anyways.
uh RNA Yeah so this one had a big move yesterday and then um, someone said they have an offering um that they've scheduled. so let's see or that they've announced 150 million dollar offering. We're going to integrate the news feed into the Um into this window. Also, we'll have a news window here in the middle that you guys can use foreign like this.
sorry about that today. Let's do yesterday. Get the screw screws. Oh, but that's right over there.
You did hide something behind the TV as I recall. Yeah, Okay, okay um hey, by the way, we have a new episode on the Podcast that is out today. Uh, for those that have been tuning in, let's see. Um so that's um right here.
um my aha moment. All right. So um so check that out. I think you guys will enjoy that I Recorded this podcast with um six other Traders So this was uh, last month and we were collectively sharing our uh aha moments as we were.
you know, as we're turning the corner, trading and so some interesting stuff there that hopefully you guys will enjoy. All right, So that's uh, available. Now let's see I can tell I'm gonna have a little bit of a hard time focusing this morning. Yeah, usually she's pretty good, except when she's bad.
um I know? special for them? Yeah, Foreign? No, not right now. No, that's not on the list for homeschool activities. No, no, that's after lunch time. that's after school's over. You gotta do school first. Okay, let's see. Um sure yeah. snack is fine in the middle.
Sure that'd be good Maybe So I did say hey I gotta go work done you could do you want to do some Lego work? that'd be fine too. Um, so all right, let's see. we've got it's about 9 15. UM I am uh kind of sitting here looking at scans itrm I'm gonna have a hard time focusing.
unfortunately this morning dogs barking I've got a little visitor here so uh, it's gonna be one of those days where I'm just gonna try to not get too frustrated that I can't give this as much focused as I'd like. but you know what? I broke the ice with the trade earlier today. one green trade which is good, so itrm it has potential. it does.
I would say that one's a maybe it's trying to make my charts look a little bit bigger. but yeah, to be honest I'm not seeing anything that's really really that interesting. Uh, which is just the way it goes sometimes. RNA I don't think I'm going to trade that one.
Thank you. In terms of nice, you could do that. Yeah, great, thank you. Exactly.
So someone says, if you could trade with 500, you could trade at 50 000. but if you can. but if you could trade with five, why traded 500? So should I do a five dollar small account challenge I Think maybe is the implication there? So the problem with a five dollar small account challenge? Um, the probably the primary issue would be that the broker that I would use would not allow me to fund an account with as little as five dollars. Um, you know you could probably fund an account with like TD Ameritrade or something like that with, you know what? That's it.
Marcel If you could do it five dollars. Can you do it with five cents? Uh, he's he's asking the hard-hitting questions here and I mean there are. The thing is, you couldn't even buy one contract of a five cent options. um of an options contract priced at five cents.
So he just made me a cup of tea. A cup of tea. Thank you. You're welcome.
This tea bag. well wait a second. It's cold water. Oh that's okay.
I like cold water. it's really just a little bit. It's gonna be a little flavoring in there I think you did a good job and it's good that you didn't use the stove without me. Yeah, high five.
Remember that time you used the hot glue gun by yourself? Yeah, yeah, what happened Burned your finger? Yeah, um no, no, it's okay. This is good like that because I've got some hot water here so I can do a little mixaroo. Okay, okay I love you I have two teeth now I have two tea bags? Yeah, that's great. that's great.
So I like the amazing you didn't get this water from the toilet did you? No, no. Okay, good. all right. um for myself.
So I was I Started the Gap scanner by volume just to see if I was missing the volume somewhere. but um, but I don't think I am and yeah, on the five dollar small count challenge. Um really the you've got a couple issues, but you know the real issue is that you would have to be making. You would have to be getting repeated 100 gains to grow the account. I mean realistically in any meaningful way, you would have to be finding things you could buy and double from five to ten. and my honest opinion is that there are going to be a lot of easier ways to turn five dollars into 500 then to try to trade it. Now, once you get up a little bit more towards 500 or a thousand just. I Mean, for instance, you could mow like five or ten Lawns and it would take you less time to make that five hundred dollars.
just. I Mean you could do almost almost anything and make 500 faster than it would take to turn five into 500 trading. But then once you get up to 500. For me, when I've done my small count challenges, I've used a broker that allowed two things, one leverage which is risky and it's not something I encourage people to do, but it's something that I've done in my own account and I did when I was getting started.
also. Um, so being able to use leverage, the problem is that you expose yourself to a lot of risk, which you know it's not appropriate for a beginner. Trader Because trading is already risky without using Leverage But even if you didn't use leverage, you're just doing settlement. You know, letting it settle.
Okay, no more tea though. This is good. Oh, that's for you. Oh okay, it would.
Still, it would just take longer, right? And so at a certain point, it does take money to make money. Uh, and the the choice for you is, you know how how much money do you want to save up before you really try to make a good go of it? Um, and that's that's true with the lawn mowings. You know stuff too, because you would, uh, you know, if you're gonna mow Lawns you probably need a lawnmower I mean I guess you could use the if the homeowner has one, it's not. Anyways, all right.
So 10 minutes to the opening bell I don't see anything. Um, there's not a lot of volume I Agree. Um with that assessment. So I broke the ice with one trade today.
but I'm not seeing anything at the moment that is really peaking my interest. So this is, uh, sort of similar to yesterday, which is I'm just gonna sit here and um, I'm gonna watch scans and look for opportunities and maybe I'll find some. but if not, that's okay too and I will try again. um try again tomorrow.
foreign oh, one is leverage um and the other was, uh, immediate settlement. so I could I didn't have to wait for the settlement period, you know, but that's that's what you get with the offshore. Brokers What you don't get is FDIC Insurance You don't get the um, the the confidence of trading with the US broker. You don't get the platforms or tools necessarily of a US broker so you know those are those are part of the risk analysis that you have to make. it's it's a it's tough, it really is. So I I Don't think in any case, anyone should trade or grill money until you first proven profitability in a simulator right? If you can start making money a simulator then it's a little easier to justify investing some money or or however you do it whether it's saving up money or working really hard to save up that money. And and Marcel is a good example of this because he was um, and you know, we'll we'll You students have probably seen this interview but um, you know he was talking about how he practices simulator. So he proved profitability in a simulator and then he was like okay I want to trade but now I need to make some money So his the first job that he did just to paraphrase the story.
The first job he did was he was working in a hotel lobby and that job was so low-key it allowed him to study a lot while he was at work. So he was kind of doing two jobs at once. Now he wasn't getting paid super well there, but it allowed him to study while he was working. Then once he proved he was profitable in a simulator, he's like okay now I need to actually make some money so I can fund an account.
So that's why he started working doing painting. Because you know more manual labor you get paid. You know you get paid more. certainly more than you'd work probably in a hotel lobby, at least to his age.
So we did that to raise money for the account, you know. And so he he had confidence in his simulated trading performance. He believed that he'd be able to make some money with um, you know, a live account And so that was the motivator to work hard because he knew his goal was to save a certain amount of money so he could fund that account. But anyways, Uh, 23, it's 9 23 here.
So we've got six and a half minutes to the opening bell. and as I'm looking at scans like I said I don't see anything that's particularly exciting. So this is going to be a morning where I'm going to sit tight and hope that something pops up between now and um, 11 am. All right.
So reminder. As always, trading is risky. My results aren't typical. Don't try to blindly follow me or anyone else and always prove profitability in a simulator before you put real money on the line.
And I'll see you guys back here first thing Friday morning and hopefully we can finish up this week with um, a couple more nice trades. All right. Thanks for those Tuning in on YouTube Warrior Members Day trade Dash Members: We're going to keep uh I'll keep streaming and we'll keep looking for opportunities. At the opening bell.
Today, in your mind, did CORTZ become Unsafe after false breakouts, if so when? I ask because it dropped down to .32 around 10:10 am and went up from there to .44 around 1:10 pm. Thanks!
My power went out and I missed you live. Grrrr
Thank you master
