Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior

All right, so it's about 8 55 coming up towards 9 A.M and we're gonna sit down here. Go over my watch list for today. I've got one guest on the morning show so far here Chris is with me. he's a short seller and he's uh, he's doing a little bit better than I am today.

although you know it's funny. Uh, when we were trading together, you know last month there was a day that there was a stock squeezing up and both of us were red on it even though he's short and I'm long and then the next yeah I remember it right and then the next day we both traded it and we're both green on it. So I think that speaks to the fact that um, what's good for a short seller is probably good for a long biased Trader which is we need volatility. We need big moves today.

You had a little bit of an advantage than that I didn't have on Qh which is that it was grinding higher and I don't really like to buy grinding stocks, but you were able to ease in on a short position and then catch that sell-off back to V app and you made like a thousand bucks on it right? I Do you know after it makes a big run up like that? um and it kind of it consolidates at the top up there. I Really like that for a short setup because I have my my risk managed for the most part with that high of day or you know, pretty close to it and I can build a sizable position. um and looking for the inevitable sell-off and I'm not looking for a huge move but if we can sell off to view app or close to it I'll serve her for a nice game. Yeah yeah I mean on a stock like this 10 12 cents, 15 cents on 10 000 shares is a it could be a nice trade exactly I took a 10 000 share position on it myself and where I got in was uh when it broke back overview app right here but it didn't end up resolving and going higher and so I made one penny per share on it which is 100 bucks.

So I am noticing that you know the popular gappers or you know a lot of them have been easy to borrow lately and um they're just not selling off like they normally would and we are getting just this grinding. Behavior which I think is challenging for everybody. Yeah, the grinding behavior is challenging. This dropped it.

uh oh wait Qh, just sit again there. dropped down to 13 and then you know, look at that candle pops right back up to 29. I mean I I Do think it's a crowded short trade? I Really do? I think there's a lot of shorts that are in this thing trying to cover and you know they might have poor average prices. That's what it looks like to me.

Well keep it on watch right now. Feels like a little bit of a grinder which means I'd have to trade bigger size, be a little more patient with it and then not having a very big cushion makes me a little hesitant. Uh, because you know 10 000 shares. You end up catching a 15 drop and now you're down 1500 and uh, you kind of think.

geez. So my focus on the last trade is breakout or bailout and I just remind myself, don't get stubborn on it, don't keep adding, just let it go, just let it and and that that was the right one. Um so for those tuning in Uh, this morning on YouTube Thank you guys for being here. Hope you've hit the thumbs up! Um my morning routine starts pretty much as always the same way logging into the website, going to the members dashboard and this morning when I did that oh I don't know what time it was it was it was on the early side.
um I saw I took a look at the Gap scanner so you know often I'll take a look at the Gap scanner on my phone and see what we've got. So I checked it out and I was like okay we've got um it's not coming to focus. we've got some gappers there so you know taking a look at the Gap scan and then um my thought was well leading gapper uh what was it at the time it was Peggy p-e-g-y and that's how I uh Peggy Peggy Peggy I I've traded this one I know Peggy um and we had a nice move in uh October beginning but but since it's sold off and I feel like we're on the back side of that move. so I just sort of felt like I don't know I just don't think this is the spot to trade it.

So anyways, I made my way over the office um which is just across my driveway in the garage above the garage. So I click here to enter I open the chat room and um, you know from there I can take another closer look at the scans, start to pull up charts, look in more detail I can see what other people are watching so you've got Jorge watching Peggy Um, you know different Traders talking about what they're looking at et cetera et cetera. So then this sort of helps me get centered and this is the value of the community. You've got a lot of people here bouncing ideas off each other and you can start to sort of gather what is the sentiment today and a big part of being a successful Trader is being able to understand Marcus sentiment trading all by yourself.

That's something that you can kind of lack. aside from being able to say oh, the overall Market is is strong so Marcus sentiment should be strong. Well, that doesn't really translate to what's happening in small caps and it doesn't really Translate to the sentiment that retail Traders are necessarily experiencing at least in this current market. So like just for instance, September was a great month for me and the market was down in September October was a slow month for me, but the market you know was up a little bit.

so November we're moving up but it's still slow. Uh, you know it's just there's a little bit of a disconnect there. So anyways, um, my, my game plan for this morning is to continue to watch Gap and go setups that's stocks that are gapping up usually with news and I'm looking for continuation higher. This is all highlighted in chapter seven of my strategies and scaling course, which you can see right here.

So chapter 7 Gap and go Trading So that's gonna be my focus today. looking for good gappers that I can jump in, ride the momentum. Uh I Like I said I already got a couple small trades but they didn't produce a lot. Qh was basically break even Pdsb I jumped in that on this algo Spike and made only a hundred.
was lucky I didn't take a loss on it because that could have easily been a loss and it's also easy to borrow. So yeah, so that's kind of. um, this is in stark contrast to where I was sitting yesterday which was already I think at my daily goal of five thousand, yeah, you had a great day yesterday. Yeah, finished up about 6 500 which is good, you know that.

but I you know I have this goal of 5 000 a day, 25 000 a week, a hundred thousand a month, a million dollars a year, and I'm I'm a little short on that right now. I'm at probably seven hundred and sixty thousand on the year in profit after fees and commissions. and I've got six weeks basically to make 250. Grand to cross over a million so tight it's getting tight tight.

It could happen. It could happen. You never know. Uh, but we've seen, we've seen crazier things.

I mean I've made two hundred thousand dollars in a day before. So I mean all we really need is some some momentum. You know if we can get like it was back in August Totally. You'll have a lot of opportunities.

Yep, totally so you know. I I I try not to. I'm not really and honestly it it kind of. This is one of these things that um, I have to accept a degree of powerlessness to.

You know how I finish the year because I'll do the best I can based on what I'm given. but if I'm not given a lot of opportunities, I'm just not gonna have a really, really strong finish. Uh, right. but I probably.

you know I'm sure that I'll have I'm sure that there'll be more opportunities than you know over the next six weeks and I'll be able to make more than where I'm at right now. How much more? Well, that's the question, but you know it's not really worth getting too stressed out about. Uh, it's better to sort of look at bigger averages and you know over the last year what am I averaging over the last two years? three years. Some some years are going to be a little bit better, some will be slower.

Yeah, I mean trading can be a waiting game. Well that's that's it. And having the patience to be able to sit tight is is a tough one. Um, um I mean I even feel like yesterday I sat down and you know jumped into a position with probably more taking more risk than maybe I should have and it it worked.

We ended up having a good trade but had it not worked I probably would have been down at least a couple thousand dollars you know. and today I'm I'm starting the day a little bit more cautiously. Um so I did see atat pop up again this morning and I was like um, you know what I I looked at and I thought you know what? it didn't hold up as well as I wanted it to yesterday so that break 1450 tempting could have taken it with small size maybe. but I just said now I'm gonna I'm gonna leave that one alone and I think that that was the right move so left atat alone.
A couple other light volume stocks Gsun Pixie. You know Pixie's still holding up, but um, one of the things that we noticed on Pixie is they have a shelf registration, so that means they've got the right to sell more shares on the open market. and I think they just had an offering too a couple months ago. I Believe that's very possible I I Don't recall, but I recall because I remember getting squeezed out by it and then the offering came out like two days later.

Uh yeah. same thing happened to me with Qngy, except they got to be listed right right? right? So yeah, Pixie feels like it's kind of being I'm surprised it's not selling off. um I I don't know. it's just being held up here, so is that that kind of pattern? I could be a little skeptical on I could think okay, they're You know they're holding it up and then you know we're gonna see a shelf.

uh, secondary offering. Yep, could we see another little squeeze? I Wondered if we were going to see one into the close yesterday because of what it did into the prior day clothes. so it sort of has that hudi look to it. but we remember what happened on Hudi.

When the offering came out, it dropped hard. Yep, yeah. and um I Located some shares yesterday morning pre-market for Pixie, thinking we were going to get some decent action on it. but I really never got a good setup on it all day.

Bummer. So um, all right, so let's see. Yeah, so at this point we didn't have any great news at the top of the hour. So back over.

um here. Top Gainers pre-market we've got. Um, cuen this is a penny stock I'm not I don't have really too much interest in it. Uh, here.

Qh, that's the one that I got one trade on. So one of the things I've been talking about is the importance of focusing on leading Gappers Leading leading gainers. That's where you're going to have high relative volume that's really going to have the most eyes if something starts to move. that's probably where we'll see, um, the cleanest action.

But right now it feels like we're really constricted into this very tight range on Qh. We're just not seeing it moving. So although it's the second leading Gap or and and if we sort by volume, um, it's our. it's our highest volume stock pre-market Peggy's the second, Alibaba's the third and then going down from there.

So focusing on volume it is valuable just to see what are eyes on. what are people really looking at today? Naturally, if you have a stock that all of a sudden is up 80. even if it's on light volume, it's going to take the place as being on the top of this list. So a lot of people will see it because it's on the top leading gainer in the whole.

Market uh. But right now let's do a volume check. So Qh: 4 million shares Okay So you know, good amount of volume, most of anything else pre-market P-e-g-y quite a bit of volume as well. Three million shares? but I don't know.
It just feels like it's too weak of a daily setup. snal pop on no volume. Let's see. Um yeah.

I know you're right. Snal. This is one that, um, it's all-time high is 436. but I guess technically it hit a little higher on after hours volume up here.

Somewhat recent. IPO But then they announced a share buyback. which is kind of funny. They do an IPO and then turn around and do a share buyback right away.

Yeah, um I don't know. Weird. So like they can teach 75 million shares of volume yesterday. Which one Tblt? Oh yeah.

tough build. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that that one's a high volume uh stock. Definitely a grinder. Yeah, see you again.

But yeah, you got a couple nice moves on it there. around lunch time you got a nice Breakout I Mean all things you know, relative, it's like 30 cents. 40 cents. It's not right.

It's not huge, you know? I'm looking for what? I Love are you know the the moves? Like what we? what you got on Pixie Where you get ten dollars a share? Yep, that's where even with a thousand shares, you can make some serious money. Um, these lower price grinders you need to size up and then you know you just seems like the winners are small. and if you do catch a loser, they get pretty big just because you catch that flush. So your losses are bigger than your winners generally on grinding stocks at least in my experience.

Okay, so yeah, in Alibaba obviously large cap? Um, doesn't really. It gaps higher right? It gaps way higher and then just trades in this tight little range. Yeah, so not a lot to trade there. It's a 60 Cent range.

It's fine, you know. seven point gap up. and now trading a 60 Cent range so nothing nothing to trade there. higher price? in any case.

Qh. insane Nrsn Larissa yeah, looks like 200 moving average is a little close. um 20 minutes to the opening bell. We haven't had a great squeeze lately.

on the short side that we could actually short. Hoodie was a good one, but there were no shares available. H-u-d-i yeah there are no shares available when it started. Um yeah.

Foreign? yeah. I mean that I know I I this This gives me Fomo too because it's like wow, look at that move and of course I missed it. Why? Well the first day the move was at 10 40 and the day had so far had been really ugly. So I didn't I was I had not made much money that day and I was like all right guys I'll see you tomorrow.

ends up ripping up at like 10 30 to 11 and then into the close makes this huge move. So I missed all of that. Came in the next day, saw it got a trade in this area and then it sells off again. it comes back up here and I was just looking at the spreads and I was like I don't know I don't think I could do it and sure enough it goes to like 180 so just didn't feel like I could take the risk on it.
But yeah, it's all right. So yeah, that was a good one. Uh, but I don't know if it really squeezed out a lot of short sellers if there weren't a lot of shares to borrow. Yeah, I was talking about the prior move.

so there's shares available now and there have been a lot cheaper. Um I don't sit in front of the screens past. really? you know the morning session. So yeah, yeah, later in the morning it goes to the less likely I want to short it? You know I'm looking to fade Or you know the the weakness of the pre-market or the opening range.

Fades Yeah, after that, you know I'm worried that it's just gonna grind higher for the rest of the day. Yeah, yeah for sure. Yeah, no. and that's that's that's good when you think about risk management.

I Mean you know from a trading perspective, my goal is to try to get in and get out of the market as quick as I can because trading is risky I Just want to get in, make a little money, and get out. I Don't want to sit here all day I Don't want to overstay my welcome I Don't you have to respect? You know the strength of the market and how quickly you can get on the wrong side of it. So finding little Windows where you can get in get out 10 cents 20 cents a day per share. You know with a couple thousand shares that that's good for most people.

you know. For me, 10 000 shares, 20 cents? that'd be two thousand dollars. My goal is of five thousand is pretty high right now that's you know that that means I need to be pulling like a full dollar a share out of the market probably with five thousand shares. But yeah, and um, you know it also makes us think about why we trade in the first place.

of course money. but you know lifestyle is another big part of this, you know? yeah? I Love being able to hang my hat at the at 11 o'clock in the morning and go enjoy my day for the rest of the day. Yeah! I mean yeah, all my friends are jealous I Don't know about anybody else, but yeah, yeah, they're more jealous of that than they are the money. Yeah, yeah, you work a two-hour a day? Yeah, no for sure I mean that's yeah.

I mean I think that you're right on that. Um so yeah. if you worked an eight-hour day and you made twice as much, be like, well, you know, but he works so hard he's always at the office. Yeah, that's a good point.

Hey Jess how's it going? Hey, what's up guys, What's up? Jess Good morning. Good morning. Late morning. No, it's more.

it's nine. it's not even late morning. it's morning. I mean for us, it's late morning.

I Guess that's true I Guess that's true. It's almost lunch time right? Yeah, yeah, we are getting closer to to the lunch hour. Do you have anything you're looking at Jess um not really. not really.

I had a nice uh so this morning I kind of sat down I looked uh I saw twst was falling hard and I just jumped in short kind of on the momentum. same exact thing as I would if I was you know trading something long? yeah um same type of strategy so I jumped in short covered that and then I took a trade on I believe it was Qh IC the Qh yeah Qh was right above uh I kind of was starting to add in. right around like 205 206 area nice and I just sold on just that small push up to like the 20s. um and I'm sitting at like 2600 bucks right now.
Nice. That's good. Nothing crazy, but uh, you know, just a decent a decent morning so far. Yeah yeah, that's solid I saw that Twst? um I didn't even check to see where what? oh Shares are easy to borrow.

Yeah, that's true. yeah um by the time I pulled it up it was already I was like ass down. too much I would I would have been basically it was already at 25. so it's like I can't short it down here.

It's so was that legit news or was that just like Twitter speculative news so I didn't even see I didn't even see news I just saw it hitting my Hi-Lo hit list and it was moving very fast. Yeah, um so that's kind of my strategy just jumping on. and I saw someone else like oh it's got like terrible news or something. like all right, yeah, it's gonna ride this wave.

I mean we're seeing this thing where now tweets are affecting you know and happy prices? Yeah no, it was a fake Twitter account uh posing as Eli Lilly Yeah and they we did that insulation insulin is free and it was totally fake right? They bought the Eight dollar check mark to make it look real yeah and they wiped off I think like 16 billion in market cap with that tweet. what's their ticker? Lily I don't know? Yeah, yeah. I know. um yeah.

that probably that probably throws off the the Algos a little bit too. LLY Okay, yeah, yeah, so yeah. yeah. well I don't know.

Um, good morning, Hey good morning guys. How are you guys? Oh there you go. Um yeah. I know that I mean you know tweets like you know you've got those.

Um I mean I think there's certainly been, um, the power of tweets that's been around for a long time, but now you've got this sort of extra element on it. But yeah, Twst. so that sold off. Uh, but I don't see anything to trade on it now.

come on, do you have anything you're looking at today? Any trades yet? Okay, I'm having some microphone issues in speaker issues so but I heard the last part. uh I don't have anything on watch yet? Um, okay, all right. um well. yeah.

I I think we're all kind of sitting in the same spot then there that there's um, not a lot that looks super interesting at the moment for small caps. so it's yeah, about 9 15. overall Market is up above the 200. well right at the 200.

EMA but we've got the SMA above that, so a little bit of resistance on the overall. Market We're kind of coming into that area, but if we keep having some good news headlines, that those those news headlines are giving us these type of spikes. so you know, a couple more good news headlines and we'll be able to reclaim the 200. But we'll see whether or not that happens.
That's a maybe. Yeah, there's I think some um, speculation about the uh Fed talking about slowing the rate risings too. Yeah I heard him talking about that yesterday on the radio. So yeah, um, that's yeah.

that's that. That would be well received by the market. I'm sure if they either reduce how much they increase or they start, it's just saying they're gonna space it out a little bit more. So yeah, all right.

Well um, so at this point you know 9, 15, 9, 18 about 12 minutes the opening bell. I only have 200 of profit on the deck. so I haven't gotten it gotten in the driver's seat at all. Um, there just hasn't been a lot that I've been able to get dialed in on Qh.

biggest move, but unfortunately on that one. um, it just was sort of a grinder and I just didn't trade it well. so I don't usually trade Grinders Super well. so that one for right now just getting too choppy.

Maybe it opens up, but I'm not sure. Peggy p-e-g-y that one I don't really like the daily chart on it I Feel like it's a little too too much moving. average resistance here so that one's not that interesting and then Cuen's too cheap. so going into the open I don't have anything that I'm even really looking at I guess Side chart: I Had mentioned hudi just it's a volatile name Pixie Maybe if it broke through 22 I Feel like I'm concerned about news dropping of a secondary offering, but it is still holding up.

so I don't know there might be some shorts that are holding it now that they can see that there's a shelf registration and are hoping to see that secondary offering drop. and maybe that's what people are doing on hudi also. But then start squeezing and you've got to make a decision if you can hold it or have to cover it. So pixie side chart in case it starts to open up over 22 and 24.

we could get a move on that one. and yeah, that's about. that's about it. I Don't know anything else I got nothing.

Um I gotta be careful after a red day yesterday. so I'm just going to take it slow. It was good I mean p-e-g-u-y Q-h-r on watch but you know I think they're going to get crowded and they're just going to be chops. Yep, okay, let's see it would be nice to get a big squeezer.

Yeah, yeah. I'd love to see that we'll get one and it might not be today, but we'll get one and when it happens we'll be ready. We know what to do. We just have to be patient and in the meantime and you know this isn't the time to probably go out on a limb and try to take massive position on something that's not squeezing.

that's range bound because you're just going to have unnecessary losses. Uh, that then when you finally get something that moves up, the profit will be recouping losses instead of you know, profit. What do you think? Jess Same same thing. Yeah, it's usually my.
You know if I just keep grinding away on a lot of these these slow choppy stocks I just you know, go red, red, red and then we finally get that one that makes a huge move and I'll I'll kind of just recover like all those losses and then I look back I'm like, well, that wasn't really worth it. Yeah, um so yeah. I've been really just kind of sitting and waiting for something. You know if something opens up and it's it's strong, we just start trading it and yeah it's It's a very simple approach too and and sometimes it's It's so hard at the same time because we're sitting here, it's like, all right, you know we're ready to trade I want to make money and there's really nothing to do So you're kind of like, uh, in this limbo.

but yeah, and that that's where. that's where. there are times where um I mean I I'll you know I've had times where I've gotten in that sort of limbo and I'm just like, screw it and I start just jumping in something and maybe it turns into a winner, but when it doesn't and you end up with a four, five, six, seven thousand dollar loss at least for me I'm sitting there thinking wow, that was really stupid. Yeah I shouldn't even taking one trade? Yeah yeah, uh.

I Didn't you know there was no reason for me to go big Or you know, even trade like as heavy or uh, as much as I did yesterday, you know there was no need for it. There's not that many tickers you know going or making significant moves with follow-through so let's take it easy. You know it's not the market to fight it. We'll see, we'll get some move.

I think the overall Market I see the Spy is making a newer high so I think it's picking the upside Trend so maybe that might bring some volume in? Yeah yeah, that's possible. yeah. I do have a spy up on another chart you know I will keep um atat on watch over maybe over the next um for the rest of the week. it kind of has that look you know, like hoodie and um, G-sun and all those other Chinese stocks.

you know? Yeah it's so it's so speculative but if it does start to move I would uh, you know, just keep an eye on it. Yep, that's what robbed me yesterday I went too big on it at uh so I gotta make my money back on it. Yeah, that's the worst way to go about it. Yeah I did the same thing I think it was on HKD um way back when it was at like you know 20 bucks or something like that 15 20 when it was way way before it made that huge move and I'm like I'm red on this stock and I look back and it's in the you know at the thousands of dollars I was like come on yeah I know yeah that one I mean it's you wouldn't think it's possible.

but if you're just if you're just day trading it and you're not trying to, you know, hold on to it for a long time. You can certainly see how on one of these days where it went from 33 down to 13. you could have been red, certainly could have happened. Or on day two, you know if you got too heavy on the wrong days.
and today for you know, everything I've looked at so far feels like the wrong day to get heavy. same with um uh Peggy you know p-e-g-y I had some trades on it back in October when we had this really nice move this these were the days that it made sense. It was on the front side of this move. It was opening up.

it was squeezing right now. I'm not saying it's not possible that you could get a little bit of a move, up. on a gap today. I mean you might maybe it Gardens up to 350 maybe even goes to four.

You're not going to get this kind. I Just don't see it. not with the Catalyst that we have. So I don't see us getting this type of move.

um you know of course I could be wrong. but I just don't expect it and so it just to me is like this is when I want to be trade and if there's not stock doing this type of thing right now then I really should just sit tight. and yeah, certainly you know there's some people that would say oh, we'll just trade the large caps or just you know, look what else is moving what else has volume today? So Baba uh Alibaba you know. Okay Nio, this one's got, um, quite a bit of volume as well.

You know you could what? I Generally find this sort of has that Christmas tree pattern. just the Christmas tree lights it just red, green, red, green, red green. it's super choppy. Alibaba is probably going to be the same you might get.

you might get some clean moves on it. Um, but one of the problems with these stocks have high levels of institutional ownership is that throughout the day when you have this big news, you're going to have institutional Traders moving big positions, moving money so you know you're going to have someone out there who's you know managing a you know, multi-billion dollar fund or whatever and it's like oh, we've got our nice 10 gap on Alibaba let's trim some of that position and they're pulling out. You know you're gonna start seeing huge sellers go through or maybe you have someone who's short Alibaba and they're like gonna cover some and you can see huge buyers go through and that's what starts to really fuel that chop, which is one of the reasons that when a stock has higher levels of institutional ownership. I expect more high frequency trading algorithms I expect more choppiness.

Also, just from the orders that are going through and I I've learned that you can see a great pattern and then you know right as soon as it starts to break out, you know some some Jabroni at his desk. uh in Manhattan punches the sell button for 50 000 shares and you get a Candlewick down. and as a day trader trying to leverage with big size, now you're like, come on so it chops retail Traders Out That's just been my experience because I when I started trading I traded Apple A lot I thought if I just get to know one stock I'll be able to do well. It's a lot easier said than done.
It's way easier said than done. Yeah, just my two cents. So all right. Well uh, we're coming in here three minutes to the opening bell.

Um I Guess we've got a game plan which is. Uh, three of us are gonna be sitting patiently watching and hopefully, um, you guys you know are able to learn from some people who have been doing this for a really long time that sitting patiently is sometimes the smartest thing you can do. This is also a great day. If you want to get into the classes, you know, go through the classes, start going through some of this content.

For those of you that haven't already, obviously there's a ton of content here. This class is has a run time of 76 hours in two minutes, so there's a lot of content there on strategies and scaling, so check that out for those that want to learn. Also, this would be a great day to be watching. uh, some episodes from live trading archives.

Re-watch some of the days where we had hot momentum and you're going to realize how night and day it is from Trading what we've had today. so that'll be a good reminder that nothing today so far has got the Uh got the quality to justify stepping up to the plate. All right to miss the opening bell. We've got our game plan those on YouTube Thank you for tuning in.

Thank you for hitting the thumbs up. We'll see you back here first thing tomorrow morning. Um, you're welcome to uh check out among he's on YouTube Uh, he's uh, he comments a lot on these episodes so I'm sure he'll comment on this one and you can see his YouTube channel where he put post Recaps uh I think Jess and Chris are both gonna be setting up a YouTube but they're also on um Instagram Oh there you go. So um I'll put there I'll put their uh info in the description of this video so you guys can uh follow them on Instagram or Twitter.

All right. So thanks as always for tuning in reminders. Always trading is risky. My results aren't typical I need the results of these Traders So make sure you take it slow and practice and simulator before you put real money on the line.

There's no guarantee you'll find success whether you trade on your own. You'll learn from me. so really, take it slow. Hotter markets will come.

This is a time to be patient. One minute to the opening bell Qh just looks like a slow fade now.
