All right, good morning everyone. So it's about 9 00 a.m top of the hour and right now, um, we've got a scan that isn't really showing us much, leaving Gapper is only up 38 and it's a 69 Cent stock. The second leader is warrants and it's up 30 percent. So it's kind of interesting here because yesterday there was a lot of action.
Um, you know, in the morning, uh, late morning and then through the whole day. really? We had Um VFS yesterday that kept grinding higher, ended up going up to forty dollars a share. so you know that was impressive For sure. We got some, um, you know, some really nice moves on that one.
Then we had um, Spgc IPO at about five, went up to thirty dollars a share SRM Another one made a pretty big move yesterday. Ipo'd at three went up to a high of six. not as big as a couple of the others, but um, but still some good good momentum. Uh, and yet this morning right now it doesn't seem to be, um, carrying over for continuation.
You know Spgc is off of yesterday's highs, so let's see, percentage-wise it's down 32 percent right now, Spgc 31 percent. It closed strong. You know, close to 30, nearly 30 bucks and it's opening right now. Pre-market it, it's at 1978.
So you know, this feels like clearly this was front side the move. Uh, and now this feels like the back side of the move. You could get some pops here. It's possible you can get a move I Don't know.
Back up to 21 or two, maybe a little higher, but it's down 33. No, this is not a super super strong setup right now, so at the moment I don't have a ton of interest in it for uh, for my trades, it's down too much to be really a good continuation setup if it was holding within like the top. you know, just maybe 15 off yesterday's high or maybe 20. but it's It's just.
you can clearly see it's pulled back quite a bit. So that's Spgc. VFS Uh, for in terms of continuation, kind of similar, it's down as well. 15.
it's not down quite as much so, uh, you know, so that one. but it's got this descending wedge right? So this descending wedge the flat bottom here at 30. it's got pressure against that level. I Don't know that it's going to be able to break um out of that to the upside.
So it seems that, um, you know it's just kind of. um, I don't know, it's just kind of slow this morning. The only good thing that I had said about the fact that there's nothing really on the scans is that if excuse me, if one stock pops up, then all of a sudden that's going to be pretty obvious. It's not going to take much for one stock to be obvious, but uh, you know right now I just I Don't see anything that's that interesting.
So no trades yet for me I'm just sitting tight here. um, being patient waiting to see if something proves itself and looks good. Aurc was on the scans uh, gapping up a little bit about 17, but that daily chart is really tricky I'm not a fan of that daily charm. so Dlos on scans as well even Target was on the scans. um TGT So um Target rallies after margin shine and Q2 despite a drop in sales. So that was our headline there on Target. Um, again, it's very similar. Yesterday, we've only got three four stocks that have hit the high day Momo scanner.
So this scanner is just. you know the scanner's tune to look for things that are moving quickly and we're not getting a lot that's moving quickly. octo. hit the scans a little earlier, popped up, pulled back.
wouldn't really have had any interest in that anyways. recent reverse split somewhat back in April that's just not my, uh, my cup of tea that that's too cheap for me. so it seemed like more people made money. uh, on the reversal shorting it than on the long.
Uh yeah. I Heard some issues with Um TD Ameritrade Today some of the people who use a um, an API platform that platforms offline I guess I don't know. So um, that's so that's disappointing. Um, so there'll be uh TD Ameritrade traders who may not be able to trade today if they're using that platform.
Foreign? Okay, let's see. Thank you. Yeah, the overall Market Um, we're still pulling back a little bit so you know we have this obviously really big move up. Um, so we're retracing some of that right now.
we'll see what levels end up holding, but you know that's that's a factor. Yeah, I think right now people are probably waiting for something to seem obvious. There's a headline there on HKD Amtd Digital expects to achieve over 50 percent increase in net profit for fiscal year 2023. Amtd HKD Aku 24 Cent Stock: It's moving higher.
Uh, right now, it's up 69 70 on 3.5 million shares of volume. HKD Right now only has 70 000 shares of volume. It typically pops up in reverses. It's not one that tends to hold thank you Uh, yesterday I traded throughout the day so I got some opportunities.
Got some trades on VFS finished up uh, just under six thousand I didn't trade Spgc I'd expect a rejection on HKD Looks like there's already sellers coming in. 17 000 shares seller on HKD at 6.50 200 moving average is like 35 dollars a share. Foreign. To answer a question there about charts, the charts are um if you? Well, if you check out the I'll give you the link here for the Warrior Pro page.
We actually, um, just began our August Dog Days a summer sale so you could check that out. But um, the Warrior Pro membership includes when you have your um, uh, your subscription for Market data that includes charts, scanners, chat, live stream, new squawk news feed, and the mentor sessions. Okay, so it's about 9 17. This pre-market session doesn't have a lot going on.
uh, neither did yesterday really. but we ended up getting some great opportunities as the day went up. Went on: So Yesterday VFS Uh, that was my biggest winner. This squeezed all the way up to forty dollars a share.
That's impressive, so that was a nice move for sure. Um, we had Dcth which was so so. We had Spgc which gave us some nice moves as well. Uh, for those that got that I didn't trade this one but that was nice and and this was actually um I'm gonna. That's kind of interesting because it's like it pops up, it pulls back, it does a little false breakout, it pulls back and then you know there it pulled away. So why did it? Why did it break out here and not on this attempt? you know? I I don't know I it the pattern looks so similar, you know. pull back to the moving averages and then it goes and then here big red candle and it flushes down and then it comes back up again and then this time it goes from 10 all the way up to 30 bucks. Somebody said that there was a big seller at ten dollars which you could see here it wasn't able to break 10.
And so it looked like someone was trying to really fold it down hard. and then that sell order broke and all of a sudden there was a really big buyer trying to, um, trying to buy which may maybe is I don't know there's something there I don't know, not really sure, but anyways, not some people observed. So um, you got that nice squeeze there through 10 11, 12, 14. did anyone have shares available to borrow and to short it yesterday? Usually day one of IPO is kind of hard to get those shares.
they are 13 cents. Okay, so so possible that you have, um, someone who shorted against this move at 10. and then added heavy up here I was trying to hold it down with big orders on the ass and then it breaks. So this is inspection.
Um, you know, kind of similar here. You know it. It pops, halts up, halts down. then it goes again.
And it was that second attempt that gave you the bigger move. So foreign. So yesterday I had a really nice Mentor session with one of my students who finished um up over a hundred thousand in July and we were talking about his, uh, strategy, what he's been trading right now, what's been working for him. And one things that's interesting is that he does not trade every single day.
He is very patient about waiting for something that really looks good. So the stocks that he was trading are the stocks that are making big moves like BFS Aurc SNMP He's not Trading Hkds he's not Trading Dchs. He's looking for points dollars a share, not cents per share. So it's a you know right now there isn't anything I've seen that shows the potential to give you dollars a share this morning.
Um, you know VFS I suppose for continuation would be the best bet or or SG Spgc. Um, but both of them are on the back side of the move right now, so they're probably there's going to be sellers. um, you know. and I I Don't think that that's quite set up.
So um, so that's that's interesting. Um, and maybe noteworthy because I think it's easy for us to get sucked into trading whatever is moving and just kind of trying to get these little nickels and dimes and get these really small trades. But there is something to be said for waiting for stocks that offer bigger opportunities. Foreign I believe like 30 from yesterday's close. BFS VFS Breaking that, um, flat bottom there at 30. I Do know if something's going to trade in sense and go up cents or go up dollars. You know the more time you spend trading, the better you get it. Looking at a stock, looking at the tape, the level two and having a sense of what its potential is? Uh, certainly if you look at the level two of HKD you can see that it's fairly.
You know there's a it's pretty tight spreads. It's got a good amount of sellers. Also, you may be familiar with this stock has had you know over the years it has popped up and dropped a lot. So it's daily.
chart is not really the setup for a big move and then you'll get something like VFS and you see I mean just by itself. This one actually has a bigger spread. Bowen is on the front side of the move. it was a blue sky setup.
spgc also Blue Sky setup level two giving you a little bit more spread. So Spgc popping up there a little bit. Um you know the thing about Spgc is like I said is that I think it's the back side of the move here so at best maybe you get a move up to like 23. but I think people are gonna short into this move because of how much it's up versus yesterday and I think that that's gonna weigh on the upside potential.
So for me it's uh, that's something I'm looking at right now. All right. So game plan with two minutes the Bell is to watch to see what starts to open up and to focus if possible on stocks around the front side of the move. Avoid trading the backside.
All right, that's our game plan here. With about two minutes in the open. reminder is always trading is risky. My results aren't typical, and there's no guarantee you'll find success.
Way to trade with me or you learn on your own. So take it slow, manage your risk, and practice in a simulator before you put real money online.

Hi Ross. A liquidity rebate question: It sounds strange, but how is it possible to get rebate by taking liquidity, and be charged for adding liquidity? I was told some routing exchanges do that. Thank you
Morning from Hawaii 🤙🤙
In my case i can not find what is working to me. I know a lot of strategies, a lot of diferent trading types and I have a lot of stoplosses. 😢 i cant find technique working for 90% even.. it looks i i understude your type and i tried, but also only stop loss…. now i dont know what to do. One year trading and as i many things found… as i worst trader became. First monthes was awesome. Now i cant understand what i am doing wrong.
That Ross student who trade only highly moving stocks is doing it well above all. I'm sure his Tradervue calendar view looks all green! Trading poor quality stock is a sure way to give away your money!
