Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior

All right. so we've got about 30 minutes to the opening bell, and so far this morning we've had a little bit of action on a couple different stocks. Our leading gapper right now is Tobx, which I'm not interested in because of the price. For those tuning in on YouTube for the morning show, you guys know there's a couple things I look for in a stock I like to trade stocks between 2 and 20.

I like to trade stocks with floats of under 20 million shares I prefer a stock that has at least five times relative volume or has the potential to see that today and I like to trade stocks that have news although it's not always the case that we get that. so Tlbx is a little on the cheaper side for me for that reason I'm not interested ALR I Took a trade on it earlier and lost 103 dollars. Uh, it. I bought it on this pullback right here.

It came back up to 670 and then flushed down. So I lost 100 on that, which is more or less a break-even trade. Anyways, it turns out that the Catalyst is a buyout offer at 7.25 cents a share. so that one's off the list.

the price and flow and relative volume. everything is right about it, but the Catalyst isn't ideal. Now the fact is, I'll jump into trade before. I Fully understand the Catalyst because if the stock is going up in a way that tells me everything I need to know about the Catalyst it's sure it's strong, right? However, if it starts stalling out or something funny starts happening, that's the time to say.

well, wait a second. What is going on here? Why is it like this? And there's a number of different reasons that a stock could be choppy, but in this case it was because the Catalyst was not actually um, as as good as I as I hoped it would be. The next one down is nerve. Uh, so got some trades on this one.

Green on it. Price: 8.15 Perfect Volume: 1.5 million Shares Fine Low 5 million relative Volume: Four thousand Up: 34 Everything there is fine. The only thing is that it's uh, pulled back a little bit. News of a private placement at ten dollars a share.

so that's a form of dilution. Uh, diluting the value of the stock. And then right now it looks like a head and shoulders pattern, so it looks like it's going to take another leg down so that doesn't look so good to me. So I'm going to leave that one alone.

Next one down, Opk floats too high. Next one down Baos Vaos I Traded earlier as well. Popped up, pulled back, popped up higher. traded in that move there, it dropped down right now.

it's in this sort of 885 area. Um, it needs to break back. Overview: app is up around 9 50. so we're a little ways off of that level.

but the float is good. The price is fine. relative volume is a little low, but not too bad. So let's see.

Um so Ruth had a question on YouTube when starting with 500, how much are you risking and how much should your profit potential be? So I still use the two to one profit to loss ratio I'll use that with a 500 000 account just the same as I would with a 500 account. So I'll risk 100 to make two a month in. right? That's the the ratio with a smaller cow. What? I did on my first day first day of trading with a small account with 583 dollars in it.
I had leverage. Okay, so I had leverage which allowed me to buy more stock which was great, but I of course have to be careful because that's a you know sword that cuts from I don't whatever the sayings. Uh, anyway, so what I ended up doing was I bought about a thousand shares of a stock at like four dollars a share. So right, five times six? Um, it's whatever.

So let's see what did I have? So maybe it was three dollars a share and I bought like 900 shares or something like that. I had just under. um, thirty six hundred dollars or three thousand dollars of stock. something like that.

Anyways, bought it 10 cents, stop 20 cent profit Target which meant I was risking about ninety dollars to make a hundred and eight. and on that first trade I made 125. I believe it was So you know again, if I had lost, um I didn't have a problem with the prospect of losing I wasn't really that afraid or concerned about losing I knew I could add more money to the account if I had to um, you know and I also knew that I could keep trading even if I'd had a loss as long as I kept it above I can't remember I think it was 300 or something. Um so let's see this was on January 1st of Um 2017.

so I'll just pull up my calendar so you can see ah calendar. Yeah so that was the first day right there. 156 dollars. So let's just look at that trade.

So um I was in with oh actually I took two trades so one was an 88 winner, the second was a 37 winner. Um so I bought 600 shares or so of a stock and made 88 bucks so 15 cents and then on this one I remember this trade because I took like I I was able to get a trade that was the right price range to buy a full thousand shares but it was like a break even trade and I was like whoa that was a close one. So then I was like I'm done for the day I'm not taking any more trades, then the next day the same kind of thing. uh except that I got um one.

that was nice you know, 13 cents or so on a thousand shares and then five cents on a thousand shares. So now I'm taking a thousand shares on each trade. So anyways, that's the way I did it I had a risk tolerance in a comfort level. uh to be more aggressive.

Not everyone's gonna have that, but that's where I was at. Okay, so uh, and by the way, those of you guys tuning in on YouTube Thank you guys for being here I hope you hit the thumbs up! I am set up here to be able to run the morning show from Italy I Again, don't know if my internet's going to be strong enough every single day, but I brought a different computer with me specifically so I could keep running this morning show. So thank you guys for hitting the thumbs up on that I appreciate it, appreciate it all right? So it's 305 in the afternoon here and I am kind of looking wondering which one's going to be the next one. Uh, what we're gonna get for a good trade.
as I said Tovx that one's no good. too cheap KLR buy out. no good nerve any. RV this one.

uh, it looks like a head and shoulders pattern so if it breaks The Head and Shoulders to the upside, that would be surprising. but uh, would warrant consideration for a trade that would be over well. So V Web is also right here at about 8 45 so 845 850 on nerve. All right.

Um, let's see. so it's below that level. Baos still worth consideration. What platform am I using for trading? So I'm going to put you on a five minute timeout for spamming and then I'll answer in five minutes if I can remember.

but I won't even I'm not even going to answer it now because I'm rewarding you for spam chat so you're on a five minute. Timeout on uh YouTube That's right. Uh, Bob What's the difference between P L open and P L day on thinkorswim? So it's kind of an annoying thing. Um, if you have a think or Swim account, I I have one.

I don't really use it Um, that often for day trading. let's see. Um. So so right now, for instance, I have some shares of Pepsi and my P L open is 1196.34 My P L on the day is zero because the position is unchanged on the debt.

so I've been holding it for a while. Um, so you know that it's telling you on a position you're holding from overnight. you know your P L open and then your P L on the day. and then that's how you.

You sort of can see how much it's up or down on a particular day or how much it's um, you're up and down on in total. But then if I so I don't know. Anyways, that's what it looks like. foreign.

so we've got about 20 minutes to the opening bell. The broker that I'm using for my day trading is Light Speed Baron uh New York I guess maybe now they have an office in New Jersey I can't remember but um in any case they've been great. I've been using them for a long time since 2017 is when I set up my account with them. actually thank you.

Appreciate that. That's very nice of you. So starter on nerve here for the Breakthrough 50. I'm looking for over 55 and 60.

let's see if we get a squeeze our nerve up through 6570.. this is a head and shoulders pattern breaking to the upside. so watching nerve there you go. there's 60.

I'm taking the profit off the table. It hesitated a little bit there. You probably noticed that at the half dollar new order's 61. I pressed that button so fast I thought I was taking a little off the table to sell half I sold the whole thing, new orders at 62.

added back at 54 for the break of 62. it's a the order was at 62 and then I take the profit off there as it goes a little higher. That was a 2500 share order. So those you guys on YouTube you can see my P L in the top.

Corner Average cost right now is 8.53 I Click the buy button and sometimes the price I get filled as a little different from what I'm looking at I'll see 52 I'll get filled at 53 I'll see 58 I'll get filled in 54. but you can always see the exact average cost basis right there, so thank you for bringing that back to my attention. Now the question is, can it hold this level? So we've got a doji candle here at the top. the high is 65.
there was a little bit of selling at 50. I am still in Italy I Will be here for uh, the rest of this week next week the week after I'm going to be here for a while taking a little more off the table at 59. you know I don't really have a second runner-up to light speed if I wasn't going to use Lightspeed um I might just use think or Swim TD Ameritrade because of the free commissions. Um, it it's a very compelling offer I think that the appeal to light speed is not what it used to be I Still of course have my account with Lightspeed and I like light speed but you can't complain about free commission Trading All right back to flat.

So now it's dipping down. We got to watch this area closely. How much does it pull back? Does it hold V-wap Oh high was 65. Didn't get a lot on that trade but we got a little bit of lowest 41.

Um so watching this here got about a little over 15 minutes to the ballot now. I Don't like interactive brokers I had a account there I did a video about them but they're on my no trade list I have a couple Brokers that are on my No list. It's not to say that you could use them I mean you could do whatever you want if you, if it works for you, it works for you but that doesn't work for me. Customer service is good I Sent Lightspeed an email this morning at about 3 30 in the morning.

It was um 9 30 here and I said hey, can you just restrict my buying power because I'm going to do a wire out at the end of the month and they email me back within an hour. so there they are up early. over there they have people checking emails I'm a long biased Trader that's how I look at the market I you know the fact is, um, the most successful Traders I know are long biased Traders So I think it's I think it's the way to go. It's not to say there's not people out there who short who are successful I've never seen someone make, uh, turn 500 into 10 million shorting stocks.

Could it be done? Maybe. but I haven't seen anyone do it so you know I see a lot of short sellers blow up accounts and the fact is, what was that stock that we had last week? Mltx? Was it Mltx? Yeah. So look at this. MLT just for just for example.

Um, there's a stock that broke forty dollars and went to a hundred dollars a share. and you know, just just for instance, this is the type of stock where if you shorted into this first pop thinking, oh man, that's extended, you know, Let's just say you shorted a thousand shares and then added two thousand, Three thousand, Five thousand shares, you could have been down a quarter million dollars at the top of that pop. Auto Liquidated accounts closed. That's it.
And you see that happen all the time. Uh, on the other hand, you know you can find people that can be consistent shorting, just taking quick little base hits. That was a nice breakout right there. I Didn't really expect that because this was under V web, but this one is holding, um, some strength.

So because I I think one of the things that is worth understanding is that because I'm a good long biased Trader I also have a good sense of Short Selling and where shorts are and where they're going to stop out, where they're going to add because somewhat inverse to what I'm doing. so you know you can't really no one side of your hand without knowing the other. It's kind of like that with trading with long and short. Invariably, you kind of understand both if you're good at one of them and most people choose one or the other because trying to flip flop it'd be very difficult traders who flip-flop going long, short, long, short.

I Haven't met a lot of traders who do that successfully because it's very easy to form bias and get frustrated. You'd think it's impossible, but you can lose both long and then lose short. So I see this as being a potential false breakout here. The five minutes Not really clean.

You've got a high volume red candle. This is a light volume green candle. thank you. Joseph So that was a head and shoulders and then it kind of sort of pushed a little higher.

here. we have about 11 and a half minutes to the opening bell. Um, my broker doesn't have a flattened position button so I sell between the bid and the ask. I I probably sell half on each, half a bit and half of the ask.

The main challenge for me in Italy is that I restrict my caffeine intake prior to trading because I find that the caffeine gets me a little too uh, ready to, you know, trade aggressively and this Market doesn't really call for that. So getting really amped up before trading is not That actually can cost me a lot of money. So that means no caffeine until I finish trading. which now it's three.

It's already 3 20 here, so 3 30 4 o'clock so my whole schedule is a little screwed up. Wow, you're Live on YouTube Um, hang on one second. Okay, let's see. um yeah.

I see that I'm taking a starter of the AOS here I have Baos is uh, creeping back up and I'm gonna look to add at 9 52. so add it at 9 54 on Bbos, there's ten dollars on the ass. Let's see taking a little profit at 9.95 Let's see if we get through ten dollars. Nice trade holding 1600 shares high on Bbaos Baos is uh, did I say Bbos or Vbos Baos B as in Victor watching for a dip added at 53 to buy that dip.

Now looking for the pop back up over 65. so there's 43 on the bid, 53 on the ask unwinding holding 600 shares at 34. V as in Victor but I'm in Baos V-a-o-s-b-o-s I Was all of a sudden this was on my side chart here. so this one was on my side chart because it was a gapper this morning and I had gotten a couple good trades on it.
so I wanted to keep an eye on this one. high is 954 still holding a smaller position watching it add off nine dollars of 25 percent fourth leading gapper right now. two thousand share seller at 40 on the ask added at 35 right there. Let's see if it goes back over 50.

There's 45 on the ask and see if we get first one minute candle making you high back through 50. there's 60.. there you go, taking a little profit up there, reducing size. Got a 300 share order filled with 62.

sold half of 48. Hi, this candle is 67 New Order goes at 75. added at 67. Now looking for the squeeze from 75, taking profit at 78, New order at 10.

dip at 70 75 right there. Wow, look at that. look at that. you see that all the way up to 1037.

Ah, this thing can move I This candle is 10 27. hi. this candle is 10.49 Added right here. Now looking for the squeeze to 10.50 so let's watch.

There's 1060. there's 11. There's coming up at 11 taking half off the table 10.70. my goodness.

New Order Eleven dollars added right there. 68 Now looking for the squeeze through 11. So we've got 90 93 on the ask, there's 88.. let's see if this wants to break to 11 a share.

We're up 45 percent watching here. Buying the dip at 75 so added at 75 on the dip. Now looking for the squeeze through 85 and 90. So let's see if this can break through 11 a share.

Nope. Flat on that trade for uh, 600 loss out at 40 added at 70. 10 1200. it's fine.

this candle is 11. lock the dip at 46 43 filled. Let's see if this pops back up to eleven dollars a share. So there's 47 on the ask.

average is 43. We've got two and a half minutes to the opening bow. it's up 36 percent. Watching to add it at 30, we buy the dip.

Let's see if this curls back up to 45.50 there's 49. taking a little profit out at 48. nice add off of 30. So holding small size right now.

41 with two minutes to the opening bell. Nice break of V-wap on this pull back. It's a little hesitant but got some good trades. High is 1097.

if we break over 10.75 then I'd look for 75 85.95 and a break of 11. see if it happens. So that's the game plan. Uh, those of you guys tuning in on YouTube I'll give you a reminder that trading is risky.

My results aren't typical, and there's no guarantee you'll find success when you trade on your own. or you trade with me. and you should always practice in a simulator. Take it slow and don't try to blindly follow me or anything else.

All right, make sure you manage your risk and I'll see you back here first thing tomorrow morning. I'll be back at it and I'm going to keep trading baos going into the open. Hopefully we get some more action and move up a little bit higher. We've got one minute to the opening bell.
All right Warrior Students Let's keep trading. Let's keep watching this one for more opportunities.
