Inter Miami’s offer to sign Messi this summer would likely be sweetened by Apple, which last year signed a 10-year $2.5 billion broadcast deal with the league, as well as by MLS, which could offer team ownership incentives as it did with David Beckham in 2007.

I'm not sure if I have any soccer fans here, but let's talk about money. What's going on guys, it's Ricky here with Techwood Solutions closed out on the day 11 000 shorting the market I left a lot of money as I closed out my short on NASDAQ pretty early on, Sqq continued to rise. but the thing that I want to talk about is this inter-miami deal. um I know I know we normally just talk about stocks I Just thought that this was kind of within our space because it has to do with someone either accepting a billion dollar Plus offer messy right from the Saudis or accepted an equity deal from Intermiami.
And according to this article it sounds like Messi is more interested in this Equity deal from Intermiami. Now let me explain some of the details. Let's scroll down here and it says late Tuesday night the MLS offered Messi includes revenues or revenue and profit sharing deal with Apple and Adidas so not just intra Miami but a profit sharing deal with Apple and Adidas and would likely include the option to purchase a percentage of an MLS team upon his end of his time playing in the league. and the reason that I find this to be super unique is that I looked a little bit more into it and this is very similar to a deal that David Beckham received back in 2007.
for those that are unaware, David Beckham back in 27, 2007, towards the later end of his career, accepted this 25 million dollar Equity deal in Intermiami. Can you guys guess what Intermiami in 2023 is worth from 25 million back in 2007 which of course was I mean years ago right to now is now worth over 500 million dollars? Some report to be worth 600 million dollars. I'm just going to say 500 plus that from 25 to 500 million Plus, we're talking about a 20x based off of original evaluation in 2007. Now when I posted this originally on Instagram I got a lot of people responding well.
The Saudi deal was for two years according to my understanding and it was 1.2 billion dollars 600 million dollars per year I don't know how those contracts works I'm not into soccer that much, but to me Equity is amazing. But when within two years you can cash out 1.2 billion dollars. I Mean at that point you can play for two years. Shoot, you can play for one year and then use all of that money and buy.
Enter Miami right? If I'm not mistaken. Uh, Luna the Lionel Messi is already worth nearly a billion dollars. The 600 million per year would only add more to it. Um, what would you guys do if you were in his shoes? You know a lot of other people are saying maybe it's not even about the money.
Maybe it's just to put himself in a good position with a good team that's growing quickly. He's obviously going to increase the value of that team by playing with them. According to some reports, the tickets for next season have gone from 80 per ticket to 4 400 400 from 80, right? That is a one thousand. Uh, well, that's what's there An article said I don't know if that's 100 correct.
They said it's already increased by a thousand percent. so obviously there's I mean I've never cared I've never never cared to watch a real soccer game I'm just a football, right? I'm not a big Sports guy. Nothing against soccer I mean I watched the World Cup Kind of like every other bandwagon, um, hype guy. but I I Know that if Lionel Messi were to play in the MLS which is in the United States I would consider going to one of those games right? Like going to Miami is not that you know a long of a flight from Arizona and I would 100 entertain the idea of watch them. I mean he's considered to be the goat right? The greatest of all time just with Ronaldo um I Just thought it was very interesting because it puts him in a in a very special spot. I Did hear one other thing and that is that according to the Saudis there was a report that they're going to make a final offer of 1.5 billion dollars. This would mean 750 million dollars per year if Noel Messi were to agree to play for the Saudis for two years. To me, I mean again, Equity is really important right? Equity is Huge.
I mean with companies like Adidas and Apple I mean those are some of the largest companies in their own space. No question about. I mean Apple is literally the most valuable company that's publicly traded at nearly three trillion dollars. but a billion bucks is still a billion bucks.
and with 1.5 billion dollars, you can buy more than what probably the equity you are going to be given. Uh, or you can begin to invest in other opportunities that you might see fit. So maybe there's something that isn't disclosed just yet on either side of the deal. I Just thought it was really unique because you're either given a lot of money which again for a very short period of time so you cash out or you go in with a team that you see value in.
You get equity and hope that it continues to grow and it can promote long-term growth right and wealth over a period of time. So I thought that to be I Thought this to be pretty interesting. It's going to be very interesting to see the follow-up because I thought the offer that Cristiano Ronaldo got of 200 million dollars was already a lot and messy. obviously just sweeping that under the rug and being like no, I'm getting equity in Apple and Adidas and in potential in intermiami uh, towards the end of his career.
So uh, let me know if you guys like topics or videos like this. I don't even know if I have any soccer fans I Hope that I earned your thumbs up. Please consider subscribing. I'll keep you guys up to date and again overall.
NASDAQ Market based off of recent patterns, is selling off and of course the more that it sells off, the better it is for us. Bears So again, it will keep you guys up to date with that as well. And like we said, close it out already! So excited to follow up and see if we get rejected or if we break above the moving average. Remember guys, I Do Trade Live Every morning. Canelo Alvarez just made 39 million in May 2023 and was offered 60 million plus ppv sales percrntage another 15 million to 20 and reject the offer by David Benavidez Manager 😢😢😢so basically Canelo would have made 120 million plus this yr 😢
✊🏼
YEA.
How much messi will get after 4 years after contract with Miami deal
The $1.6 billion is not a straight up offer but a sum total of what they can give him. They will pay him $400 million or even $500 million in salary and the rest is advertising and ambassadorship deals.
Why did he turn it down? It's simple he and his family don't want to be in Saudi plus the Saudi League is not a growing league. The Shiekhs can pay top top dollar but they don't have a long term plan.
A lot of us average joes would take the Saudi offer in a heartbeat but businessmen will take Equity any time of the day.
Is always money, stop being naive
This season Messi go to Inter miami
Next season Neymar.go to Dallas FC 😎🤟👉👉
It's time for Messi to be happy, enjoying his family, kids, friends etc…he already won everything in his career, and also he has a lot of real state investments here in Miami… at his age almost 36, and knowing the next Copa America and the World Cup 2006 will be here… for him been living and playing here, going to be a really nice closing of his career as a player, also because down here there's a lot of latinos that like soccer, and been Miami an International vacation place , International ports, and cheap for people to fly from everywhere, will be a nice point of interest not only for the State of Florida, also new investments, growth of tourism, and for those we love soccer, it's going to be great to see the best player in the world playing for a lot of people, at the end will be exiting for everybody, cheers Ricky !
Nice content Ricky
Do you know how much Apple and Adidas is going to give him, probably enough to cover that amount
Nice video, but really, it’s football 🙄
They also say after his end contract he can get his own MLS team
Guessing Messi's wife wasn't a big fan of Saudi Arabia…. wonder why? 😅
You’ve got me!
u dont know anything about football its quite clear..
Ricky has more maturity speaking on Messi – Ronaldo then most real soccer fan
His wife made the final decision. Kids growing up in SA or in USA was a no brainer for her.
Messiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii🐐👑🐐👑
There was news that Messi father wanted him to go to Saudi because of money.
But the truth is Messi is a family man. He already had bad expirience in other european country which is France and in some interviews he said that his children felt bad about France.
Messi wanted to transfer to Barcelona but its clear that this transfer is impossible right now. Miami is a good choice because there is a lot of Argentinians, many people speak Spanish. So his children wouldnt feel so bad with no knowledge of language
you are liar. Inter Miami MLS is only worth 600 mil. and the highest paid player is 4 mil.
Saudis really be throwing money around. Kinda like Edwin Akufo from Ted Lasso 🤣
LEO PESSI FARMER SINCE 2021
PRISTIANO PENALDO FARMER SINCE 2023 LOL
FARMERS!!
FOOTBALL fan here
Aside from the family/location decisions, business wise the guy wins either way. He could take that lump sum from the Saudis and grow the game in the desert or tap into the US market and gain equity in a place with 30+ teams and infinite potential. But if it was about the money for him, I promise you he wouldn't be coming to the MLS lol
Thanks for covering this story. Not sure if Messi cares for the money. Apparently the family vacations in Miami and his wife dislikes the Saudi regime, but regardless, with equity, I think he comes out ahead.
GOAT
You can't just buy an MLS team. The league got that locked down.
Messi ❤
I'm really disappointed…I didn't expect from Barca like this hypocrite 🥵🥵🥵
What a drama we have seen last few days from Barca Board 🩴🩴🩴
He is also doing it because his family likes it in Miami (they already have real state in Florida), also the 2024 Copa America will be in the US along with the 2026 World Cup.
CANADA HAS MLS Too…😑
Messi has made his choice. Let's accept his decision. We're all spectators from far . It's Messi and his family that feel the heat of all these..
I am soccer fan
cr7 my goat
Correction, Messi is not like Ronaldo. He is better…
I already call my rep for the game in August lol⚽️⚽️he better not inflate my ticket😬
This is a random topic but it has to do with equity so let me know if you guys like my take on it!
