I took the wrong side of the trade on fridays blow out jobs repot- I felt I took the right trade but the market ran up on what I felt everyone would interpret as bad news- 360k vs 170k census- i hit the 360 report and switched my trade from long leveraged etf to short and thought I was brilliant until unexpected reversal 20 mins later…… so mad at myself- it tanked and all I could think was there is no way the market can run up on this news so I stayed in the short leveraged etf…. Then I became stubborn and thought why get out now at this price it’s gotta change because no one will stay long in this market especially on a Friday…. Waited and waited but market continued to rise through closing… perhaps Friday was the bottom and we are about to rally, I don’t know but I broke my rules- no trades in first 30 mins, get out when play does not do what I planned, don’t over size, don’t get stubborn in the trade and don’t revenge trade-

Yeah, what's worse is when you enter early and it stops you out before going the way you expected. Lost what could have been a 10k payday on a 2k trade. Disappointment turns into sheer anger really quick.
