What's up everyone? All right? So in today's episode is Trump going to get arrested well over the weekend he tweeted that he's gonna get arrested on Tuesday which is tomorrow and it stems uh, all the way back to the 2016 so-called hush money payment that his then attorney Michael Cohen made to Stormy Daniels So wow, this is unprecedented. He would be the first former president to be arrested, uh, on these types of charges. It's kind of a big deal and I am curious what you guys think about it because here's the thing. Obviously it's political, but politics and political landscape certainly has an effect on the markets.
So for Traders like myself, you know 2016 17, 18, 19, 20. those were good years 2021, things kept going all right, and then 2022 it's not been great 2023. so far it's not any better. Do we just have to wait it out till maybe there's some political changes in 2024? Maybe.
Uh, but really, it's going to be, you know, until 2025 that we actually see anything happen? So uh, I'm curious what you guys think about this and what it means for, uh, the market. and um, you know, maybe your take on how the political environment uh, drives opportunities in the market if there's certainly a correlation Now, last year in the Biden presidency was my third best year of all time, so it was a great year. I Really can't complain this year. Obviously not great seeing what's going on with the bank stocks.
The banks collapsing is not a good thing. We'll see whether this is isolated to just a few Banks and things smooth out or if this is going to be the beginning of a really difficult year. Not sure yet. There's a lot of unknowns, but you know, throwing the kind of a arresting a former president into the mix.
There's a lot of stuff going on right now and man, it's um, it's just it's kind of crazy. So I just I'm curious what your thoughts are on the topic and how you think it's gonna maybe have effect an effect on the market. Probably it's not gonna do anything tomorrow and it's not gonna do anything short term, but to the extent that it affects his, um, his election campaign I don't know that's I supposed to be determined. So anyways, uh, let me know what you think and we'll find out.

It probably sounds like an overreaction, but it would be just another huge step towards the end of the country. So yeah… I do think the markets would be affected.

Arresting Trump will make him a Martyr among his supporters. Chris Rock yesterday said as much. All of this is for a misdemeanor, basically something that eludes to a slap on the wrist. Regardless of party or ideology when people weaponize the judicial system to go after their political enemies, that's not good. That's 3rd world banana republic stuff.

The stock market is doing a lot worse now, so that tells me all I need to know. This administration is not the best for markets
It might be political, but the Orange stain brought this on by himself and he is in no doubt the most corrupt president ever and the most deserving of being arrested and jailed
I was a proud supporter of President Trump at the beginning, but he didn't accomplish draining the swamp fast enough. I believe the courts will decide whether he is guilty or not in the payoff matter. Regardless, he did a lot of good for the middle class in America and kept us out of "fruitless" conflicts for the most part.
Potentially could bring about some negative effects by affecting consumer confidence even further, though this may take away some attention from what's happening in the banking industry short term. Bigger picture is that folks are fed up with political folderol and maneuvering. This likely will serve to cause even more frustration. So MANY people affected by the pandemic, loss of savings, loss of homes, and INFLATION. People likely are going to be pissed at the perception that not enough is being done for the little guys and too much time and resources being spent on OLD NEWS. Anyway, that's just the way I see it. Love to Ross, his family and the people here on this channel. May we all find opportunity in this economic winter.

this has been going on since he got elected , they dont want him to run so their throughing everything at him to discredit him . its a political travesty and smear campaign of a former president which the democrats should be vilified for , he has been audited by the irs like four times couldnt find anything . the only way democrats can win anything is by smearing and shaming so nobody sees that they dont have any ideas
My personal position is that the establishment is so afraid of another trump presidency that this is the steps they need to take. ITS NOT ABOUT WHAT IS BEST FOR THE COUNTRY.

I agree with Ross. Biden is terrible for the stock market. Ross quote, "Do I miss Trump? Of course I miss Trump!…Biden is destroying everything (in stock market).." (See Ross' former videos on this subject).
Ever since Biden was sworn in, the market has been on a slow decline. Yes, 2021 was a decent year but that was still the tail wind of Trump era economic policies. Biden didn't get a chance to really fully implement his leftist anti-capitalist socialist economic agenda until 2022.
Ross, like most traders can't wait for another Trump like President to be in office so we can have another bull market again. It's undeniable that 2019 and 2020 were some of the best trading years ever in the market (Also some all time highs in overall market). Trump did whatever he could to nurture and prop up the stock market. Biden on the other hand is the opposite. He has already come out and said he could careless about the stock market and isn't concerned about another crash. In fact it seems he is doing everything in his power to crash the stock market.
As to Trump being arrested, it probably won't affect the over all market too much besides DWAC. Besides everyone knows its all political and the Radical Left Dems (the true fascists) have to do everything they can to stop Trump from winning the WhiteHouse again in 2024. They all know Trump is a threat again and his chances of beating Biden in 2024 are extremely high (if Dems can refrain from voter fraud but we all know that's the only way they win these days since they can't win on their commie policies anymore).

Democrats have been weaponizing DA's all over the country. This case in particular should wash over as a major embarrassment since campaign funding wasn't used for the payments. The libs are desperate to keep him out of the 2024 race, hence them bringing the case in this time frame.

If he did something wrong, he needs to be held accountable, regardless if he was a president or not. It doesn't matter if I'm a day trader and how this would affect me. We'll navigate and adapt just like with everything else in the world.
Politics is a dirty business. If Trump gets arrested, I am sure that other names will be mentioned which would force investigations and Amendment 25 to be enacted. Could be good for the markets, but bad for America
