Intel stock is down 20% since its earnings report. Investors largely ignored the Q2 strength, latched on to the future and sent the stock down about 16% since. So the question we all have, is it time to buy the dip on Intel stock or hold off!

Purchased one option contract last Friday simply because of the mass volume I saw on calls. Seems I along with many other traders believe it has a comeback coming in near future.

I think that INTC is one of those tech stocks that if you invest for a long-term, you'll get a really nice profit.

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars vishka07 says:

There are companies that keeping loss money and they are making all the time high, INTC is making money, their revenues are way bigger that AMD, it has a good EVA, trading under its intrinsic value of 1.8 relative to its market value, stable, good margins, etc. 💁

"I'm not here to convince you to buy something, just to tell you why it dropped"

Title: should you buy intel now???

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars UnknownMoses says:

    I'd consider buying AMD

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars UnknownMoses says:

I would not buy intel right now

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Steve says:

intel is under a lot of pressure especially when apple is moving away from them and apple got intel's 5G now… so for both desktop and mobile, intel isn't looking on the bright side.

wonder when is intel stock going to stop bleeding. What multiple? 3? 4? Wtf Their chip sector is nt even half of their business and everybody overreacting because of a 6 month delay. FOMO "investors" are excited to buy AMD att 170 PE while intel is now trading below 9.. Even if half intel disappears goes to zero Intel is still a better buy than AMD at these valuations

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Brandon Lin says:

The fact that postponing it by 6 month is so detrimental is because Intel has repeatedly stated that they are focusing more on the 7nm chips to be a success and basically giving up on the advancement on 10nm in order to better compete with AMD/TSMC. With the high end 10 nm chips not being able to be on the market until Q2 2021 and the delay of the 7nm development, its basically putting intel in a position that they are not able to compete with AMD in the next 3 to 4 years. By the time when Intel is done and out with the 7nm, TSMC would probably on the first revision of the 3nm chips putting Intel significantly behind. For those of us who follow the semiconductor news religiously, it's clear that Intel just cant seem to get it together and there are more likely to be more delays down the road for the 7nm. 10nms is supposed to come out 4 years ago and even with the lowered specs and lowered ambition, they are still struggling to get it out the market.

Intel stock will go down because this assholes dont have new products then only rebrand of old ones and AMD crashed them and when Zen3 will come Intel will be in big shit

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Investing & The Like says:

one point: AMD already outsources manufacturing to TSMC , so i don't see why the mean Intel would never catch up again, i would think it just means the will have lower margins, as TSMC is making billions in the manufacturing business which comes out of AMD's margins, so AMD is in front on chip design, but they currently (key word: currently) way way behind on revenue , net profit, etc

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Investing & The Like says:

yer intel will be over a $100 in 2-3 years if not sooner.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Klevis Mekshi says:

i think about intel it cant resist much if they dont do any cpu that compare to 4gen amd , and about amd it look like it will go in more advantage eazy

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars His Royal Dudeness says:

after amd reported stellar earnings, i was expecting intel to correct but it dropped ard 1/2 %. i guess this is a good sign? im vested in intc @60

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Lucky5150 says:

In the words of Charlie, every reaction is an over reaction. Im bullish on AMD but j also think INTC will recover. I bought at 50

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars WiseOldMan says:

Atleast a 3yr down line for intc
    No innovation the coming years
Tsmc throwed their intc deal away and amd is wanting to shrink die size in late 2021- beginning 2022 already… Sorry but intc might be facing the same financial issues amd's had before with their fx processor era… I hope not but that IS a possibility…

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jackson Burch says:

Intel is fine. They have the biggest brand for computer processors and were underpriced to begin with at 11*earnings. This 6 month delay doesn’t matter.

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars yi sheng hsu says:

No one buy TSM??? This company is biggest micro chips company in the world. it help AMD and INTEL produce the chip.

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars xShugo says:

You must understand from a computing technical standpoint. AMD has made a huge breakthrough in their chips. Huge enough to outperform any chip Intel tries to put out there, even outperforming their new 10th gen chips with AMD's last year release (an insane jump). Intel has always been the leader of CPUs, but they never attempted to change their CPU architecture because there was never any competition.

Now that AMD managed to make this breakthrough, Intel is shitting the bed. All major PC brands (laptop and desktop), and all phone brands, will slowly migrate to AMD if Intel cannot produce something better. AMD CPU's are proving to hold better clock speeds, lower temps, and less power consumption – which are all a plus – than Intel.

Short term, it is possible for Intel to bounce back a bit. But AMD is definitely the market leader now, and probably will be for the next few years.

By the way how get american company actual balance sheets, im from europe and dont really now were to get the real deal out of the EU.

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Moon Hyuk Kang says:

finally the underdog AMD is under the spotlight while the overrated with crap customer services Intel is going down.
