My question is why is it important for FB to be investing billions of dollars into privacy? When the NSA essentially has access to all that information regarless? So nothing will ever be really private.
So what would be the point in investing billions of dollars into something that essentially is going to be made visible anyays? As a computer programmer that doesn't really make any sense to me.

Rick, I think FB lost so much mkt cap because #1 they fucked the street by not helping the street prepare for this lackluster growth. People angry w FB political monitoring, zuckerbergs shitty leadership, etc. I think it has less to do with future privacy expendiatures.
