With ancillary sales being up due to everyone being stuck at home and not spending money out I would be concerned of BBB ability or lack of willingness to make change and switch direction as many retailers were able to figure it out. I would be hesitant in just writing this off as a bad quarter being that this pandemic accelerated the direction on how the consumer's shopping habits are changing and BBB being behind the curve. Keep in mind I'm far from being a CEO or a business analyst but more of an observation from a baby boomer that is seeing an intentional and switch change in the way business is being done today.

This is what happens when you try to fix something that is not broken. When they changed their return policy last year I knew they were going to loose a lot of their customers. They are expensive even with their 20% coupons but their return policy was so good that a lot of customers didn't care paying the extra amount of money.
BBBY is an online retailer also, this is where the quo is headed. Their saving money and have a brand.
