Are you good at trading or just lucky? The biggest fallacy I think that happens to people in markets right now is I made 300 Grand in 3 months. Okay, congratulations, you still could have done everything wrong. Got lucky right? So big numbers are posted and people get excited. So true.
But that that doesn't mean that it's you're doing the right thing. but it's really hard to convince somebody otherwise so you really have to take a step back. look at what you're doing. look that hey this was a winner but did I get lucky or did I actually execute what I thought was appropriate and especially you know if you record your screen or at least have a replay of some type.
Now what you remember, remember, and what really happened are two different things very often in my experience I always think I know exactly what happened and I when I replay it, it never is that way.
lucky for three months is quite a streak… It’s not impossible but just not probable
There's an old saying in the Army. "Better to be lucky than good" but that luck will run out eventually so best to keep learning and improving before that luck runs out.
