If you live in Cali and long-term want to work in REPE, equity research or asset management, working with Kevin realistically brings value. If he sponsors you for your CFA, your Series 7/63, and offers you work experience then it could be valuable. CFA is basically mandatory if you have any aspirations of becoming a PM. However, if you're a top-of-the-line candidate, I wouldn't waste your time on this. If you have a good GPA and went to a target school or a school that places well into top companies, this isn't an opportunity for you.
I understand his approach it’s the same for us on a smaller scale. Your basically providingthe opportunity to come onboard and grow. Learn what you believe will make a difference and make a difference (with guidance of course) The downside to this approach is that it’s too general. People like to be in boxes without knowing it.
Crazy to read so much hate and negativity in the comments. It's become fashionable to pile shitloads of ridicule, hate and attacks on every public figure, always presuming they have malicious intentions.
This is an offer. If that's not for you, keep moving, because it's not for you. No need to make random rude comments.
He is basically offering an opportunity to LEARN. Take advantage of the opportunity and move on (or up). Great for 18-25 (or really open minded, energetic second careers), with no major responsibilities, who survive off coffee and noddles. This is any entry level job.
Listen im NOT a troll. It's just the way you said "if you suck you're gonna get fired and replaced by another apprentice" 🤣 and "if you're fired I get to keep my desk and chair"😭🤌🏽
I'm celebrating a $30k stock portfolio today. I started this journey with 4k. have invested on time and also with the right tearn now I have time for my family and the life ahead of me
Why are there so many trolls? Damn. It might not be for you, but some young entrepreneurs(single with no kids) may want to learn as much as possible from a genius like Kevin. It's not always about how much you get paid, but what you get to learn. Stop the hate.
*EDIT* DID YOU JUST SAY $15/HR?!?!😬🤣 AND WE HAVE TO FIGURE OUT A PLACE TO LIVE?!?!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 SHEEEESH THE STRUGGLE BABY😭😭😭
The saddest part is that you could be great. You could truly do things differently, connect with people and stop your bullshit that people are just sick of.
If you had just had a modicum of PR to reign in the narcissism you could be great.
It’s funny to see how most comments in this thread don’t know what a frickin amazing opportunity this is. Within a few minutes I consulted with my son and made a game plan to get him on board.
Great deal Kevin . As one who has a doctorate in medicine , chem degree and now a assistant professor at a couple of medical schools ( ingressive ?) nah I advise young people unless you your going to go into a professional field , med law accounting etc … do what you are offering !!!
I've watched your videos for approx. 2years. Daily… After watching this video. I have unsubscribed. You are scum. You think you are some kind of saint. You are greedy. Get some perspective. Your greed will be your biggest downfall. RED FLAG
Dam Kevin sorry for all the hate I’m I have been working and building tech for over 2 decades now and I am a generalist so cross training would be completely fine
So you're looking for someone who's financially independent or still tethered to mommy and daddy, to live in California (local or relocate), for minimum wage (btw 15/h is literally poverty pay in all of SoCal). No lincenses necesary, which is reasonable, but 2 things: BOTH no experience necessary, and also if you suck you're going go get replaced. Not might, the literal text is "You will get fired and replaced." So virtually zero job security without measurble objective KPIs/OKRs. And you want them to be hard working and flexible (which sounds like you plan to overwork them beyond and in excess of what a 15/h job would pay).
A smart person would work on a written contract basis with severance so that the money is secured and enforced by law if your experiments doesn't succeed or you decide "they suck". I wish you all the luck, I can appreciate the lean and ruthless approach to staffing, but as a career guidance/placement professional, we're not in an economy where you can ask for maximum effort for minimum pay and expect to get even half of your wish-list checked off. Good help is not hard to find, its just now more expensive than ever. Businesses are certainly asking for more, for less; because they always do. Right now i'm advising my clients to refuse bad value propositions (unfortunately, like yours seems to be for a stark majority of job-seekers), otherwise they will be in an absolutely detrimental position as the traditional economic engines continue to stall and sputter during these uncertain times. If you want to invest during hard times, you will spend the most on the human element, that's just a fact. People are more expensive when there's not enough to go around, I wouldn't have thought this to be lost on you; I guess we all have blind spots. I guess that's what happens when you're solo for 90% of your post-success career.
Also, as an aside, you also seem to be trying to do too much at once. MK, HH, and SH are more than enough on your plate. And if you can't afford (or don't want to pay) more than 15/h in CA for a worker that you expect to be more than the generic just-turned-16 mall employee who also makes 15/h, *minimum*; Frankly speaking, I'm concerned you don't have the liquidity to start 3 more, other ventures, for a total of 5 concurrent start-up businesses + your existing MK vert. More than that, i'm also concerned that you as a principal, are spreading yourself too thin to give each line it's due attention. Businesses are like children, they need a lot of TLC in the beginning unless you've already built systems and structures that are specifically designed to spin up new businesses (which is what tech incubators do in Si Valley).
Do yourself a favor, go to your local high school or college, and ask the administration to put up job postings or to work with the business college for interns. The only person who meets this criteria are people who've already made it, and thus don't benefit from the opportunity, or people who are essentially subsidized by a beefy trust fund and can waste a few years of gainful employment for a 15/h gamble that while it might succeed and your projections may indicate a high likelihood, there's still no actual guarantee. None of the ancillary benefits (in-house chef, gym, etc) are benefits that most people actually care about. Those are benefits that you only care about when you're a Twitter employee making 150-200k/year but your office is in WA or NY, so you actually still can't afford groceries after rent and utilities.
So yeah, this is quite simply not a good investment of time for someone who is NOT 100% both financially time-independent by one means or another, and I cannot recommend it for anyone outside of someone who is. Unironically, I think the better value proposition to any potential applicant is actually just to buy one or multiple/all of your courses and then translate that into self-employment where they don't have to worry about "sucking and getting fired and replaced".
You get what you pay for. The only interns you will get are children. Interns are for learning your business. You want to see them grow into a partner.
However you want cheap labor and it's ridiculously obvious. You're just trying to leverage your internet clout as well as a competitive intern environment to accomplish menial task for the bare minimum.
The is Penny smart, dollar dumb.
As much as furus go on about financial freedom, education, and lifting others up, this is the most blatantly conniving scheme I've witnessed from people like you.
You need to take a step back and really try to process what you've said.
1. You want your interns so poor that they have to live together to survive.
2. They should have to eat rice and beans to survive.
3. If they don't make you money they will be replaced with another "apprentice" quickly.
Who would want to try to make you hundreds of thousands of dollars when you only want to pay them $15 fucking dollars an hour?
Hopefully your interns have enough backbone to stop you from putting out such a morally degrading dogshit video like this again, but I doubt they will because 15/hour isn't enough money for them to pull your head out of your ass.
People keep mentioning the minimum wage thing….lol if I was Kevin I would say this is an unpaid internship the knowledge he provides and work ethic is unmatched! If I didn’t live in Arizona and already make 110k a year I would definitely apply!
Most people fail to understand that someone’s trash is somebody else’s treasure. All of these people complaining about this video don’t understand that he will still get plenty of people applying that will be more than willing to this this job… probably even for free
$15 is less than California minimum wage lmao. Househack is going to have a no experience work force who will never bring new ideas to Kevin because he is the master pupper who taught them all. What a fucking joke this channel has turned into lol
Drugs have destroyed this man. So sad. He is so lonely and is screaming out loud for help. His best friends that helped him create his brand left him for a reason. Now he is trying a pyramid scheme and wants people to work for free. He wants slaves. Don't let him tell you he is looking for "apprenticeships" because he will NOT pay you an hourly wage that will even help. He will pay under $20 for sure. Be smart, folks.

Kevin, is it acceptable if the video we make is over 60 seconds long? Like 5 minutes?
Crazy to read so much hate and negativity in the comments. It's become fashionable to pile shitloads of ridicule, hate and attacks on every public figure, always presuming they have malicious intentions.
This is an offer. If that's not for you, keep moving, because it's not for you. No need to make random rude comments.
Meet Scamin'
I'll come and work for you if I get a thousand tsla shares
It would be nice to have $2,000 stimulus check for l people with social security disabilities so we can invest as well 😔

Hey @Meet Kevin when is the dead line for the video?
When will it start ?

Internship is just another fancy word for slavery.. Even if someone is learning, they should still be paid for their time. NO exceptions
Learn a lot…earn a little. Desperate

Fuck man.
This did not turn out like he wanted it to, the comments section is brutal
I wish tot would take the word “ hack “ out

If my kid was old enough id send them to you. Better than sending them to college. Good luck.
I would love to help join your collective

Wasn’t this type of practice abolished on Dec 18, 1865?
Jesus Christ what a douche
Don’t fall for this. He just wants slaves.
