yeah…
So this is pretty bizarre. see this home behind me. really important right now. we're standing in the Western Hills Country Club and when I was a child we came to Florida with nothing and we lived in little apartments and my dad took jobs as a carpenter and eventually built his own business as a kitchen designer and then kitchen installer and we would basically in Aventura we would sell people kitchens.
Well, my dad would like I was I was a child and we went from living in apartments to living in a house in Plantation smaller house. and then we moved. Finally, as my parents unfortunately started to go through their divorce, we were just in the process of buying this house my dad had made it he had come from Germany with a skill provided value and we moved to the Western Hills Country Club which was really amazing. I Celebrated Uh, the Millennium here going from 1999 to 2000.
Uh, you know we didn't have accordion shutter. so I remember installing the shutters myself with my dad and my hands getting scratched up. you know I was seven, eight nine. Actually, by the time I was nine, we had already.
Well, we were forced to leave. Basically as the divorce uh, wore on and the economy fell into recession. Think about it, we celebrated the Millennium What happened then.com Bubble 2001 Two, we're in recession. Kitchen sales go to crap.
Divorce happens. Debt happens. can't afford to pay for the property anymore. We lose it.
We literally go from this to renting like back then, probably the equivalent of a sixty thousand dollar apartment and our car is getting repossessed. Uh yeah, it's pretty dramatic. Uh, so what's bizarre about being here I Remember all these houses all too well. What's bizarre about being here is uh Lauren and I We were trying to figure out what why do I always have this this anxiety problem where I have to work uh and and I feel like if I'm not working like like something's wrong and I'm just it's always like okay, all right, YouTube's done.
Let's go do real estate. Okay, that's done. let's go do research. Okay, that's done.
Let's go do stock hacker or whatever we realized potentially. One of the reasons I have that problem is because as a child I went from having nothing to having an amazing life in this community for two and a half years you know, private school. We had a wave runner in that driveway. uh, you know we helped plant those palm trees.
We put the fence up around the property because it used to just have a little fence around a pool. so we're like oh, let's get rid of this fence and put it all the way around the property so it just felt a little more open that way. Uh, and we're talking about those metal fences not like the children Gates So when you fall in, kids don't judge like anyway? Um yeah. so went from basically nothing dad's entrepreneurial efforts to this which is incredible I mean now this is probably depending on what condition it's in, it's probably a 1.5 million dollar home. I don't know I guess I could have looked at this estimate but again, it depends on the condition. uh and uh. my dad. actually unfortunately after the divorce and the dad and the recession and losing his job and business everything we also lost the house.
Uh so house was sold I mean we're upside down on it. It was probably for like I don't know High 300 thousands. Now it's you know, one and a half militants Insane. Anyway, so high, 300 thousands and um yeah.
then it went from here. all your friends. uh all of these houses. there were kids in them we'd play.
I mean this is where we do. Yeah oh man, it's a weird fireworks. you know, learn how to ride a bike out here. oh it's such intense.
um to to all of it being gone? uh yeah to no, no friends? no sorry I don't think I can finish this video. No private school anymore Nothing? yeah and it just it's pretty rough. So I think yeah. anyway I think that's the point of people ask why do you work so hard I think it's it was that roller coaster I Never want to experience again or put anyone through I'm just gonna go.
Gptta correct the title to "i literally lost everything, over 10 years ago"

You lesson should be to invest in a better lawyer and not to Mary anyone.. idiot.. you don't have to Mary anyone…you can have kids with as many people as you want and as long as you are not married you are not co.
miting a crime.. yes you can be sued for cheating..you have to pay her upon divorce too… don't trust bitches…
Thank you for sharing this emotional story. Some families will grow stronger during tough times as we realize these are material positions. It is always a learning experience. God bless you and yours Kevin!
You had a posh life and it was ripped away… that is your sad story?? 😂 my child hood would have scarred you for life and broken you. Poor Kevin didnt get to go to private school anymore. Good grief. This video is ridiculous.
Thank you so much for sharing this.. I love your story and can relate so deeply – growing up I watched my dad flip houses and bust his ass to give my brother and I the things we needed and now as I build for my future family I know deep down that what truly drives me is a need to create the stability I felt I lacked as a child.
These are truly the greatest motivations and strongest drivers of growth. Thanks for sharing this and humanizing this so much. Videos like this really help me see that we're not all that different.
keepin it real. Not everyone has the balls to be vulnerable. TY
You definitely hit the nail on the head, that’s exactly why you have all that anxiety. Childhood trauma is a real thing. But remember your soul chose to have that experience, so you could become the person that you are now.
Thanks Kevin. That hit home.Much love
Where is your Dad today- what happened to him?

Experienced very similar in a similar area. If I am honest I told my wife this was probably the case years ago when you first disclosed a bit of your side and following you over the years it was evident when you went through a very rough period a little while ago and to see you now and how you’re thriving is truly amazing.
Our memories of our entire lives are always with us and defines who we are, I think. It is a beautiful property. I am sorry about what your parents and you went through.
Greatest short video ever! We all go through phases in our lives that define who we are! So much respect for you putting this out! Felt 100% real and pure! God bless you all!
I feel you brother
I worked in margate for a while, lived in Delray Beach just north of Boca. I know that area well. I didn’t know you grew up there. Thanks, good vid.
I’ve started over from zero twice in my life and it’s never been easy but your channel has definitely helped me along my own journey, I appreciate you so much brother and I’m happy to see your hard work paying off and the success you’ve achieved! Much love to you and your family. You deserve everything you’ve worked for.
Your’re such a source of inspiration Kevin ! God bless 🙏🏻
Congratulations on your success.
@Kevin – loved this video more than any other. I went through something similar – my dad was a professional flautist and the recession in the 80s hit my parents hard. They didn’t lose their house, but changed a lot of their lifestyle and my parents saved every penny. I never knew how hard they had it as they didn’t let on and as kids we didn’t know or suffer hard, but they did make a tonne of sacrifice’s.
My anxiety is the fear of loss that drives me. We have more than we need, but worry about losing it all, as a result are driven to achieve more. Ironic as we could stop and enjoy it, but also can’t and work harder to achieve more to be safe. We are lucky, as are you, but we are also unlucky in that we are burdened by our past, and driven by our future too. All the best to you, and any others who feel the same emotive reaction too.
U HOPE YOU GET ,….. THIS IS HOW A LOT OF FOUNDATIONAL BLACK AMERICANS FEEL, WQIT FOREIGNERS COMING IN AND EATING UP THEIR HARD FOUGHT AND HARD WON RESOURCES AND POOR WHITES GETTING THEIR RESOURCES GIVEN TO ASIANS AND LATINOS /HISPANICS AND ARABS AND WITE IMMIGRANTS AND TOLD THEY AFTER BOTH LOSERS AND NEED TO WORK HARDER!!!
Thank you, Kevin.
If you just don't get married you don't have to worry about women hypergamy. She is not yours it is just your turn. Women hypergamy like opening a door knob. Everyone at some point will get a chance. Their is point in making sacrifices for women any more. Be selfish and do everything for yourself.
Amazing story. Loved that video. And btw, my family and I have lived in Weston for many, many years.
