I would like to ask a question, Are there bad practice that REALTORS do to their BROKERAGE? about leads and sales? I'm just curious.
Why didn't you do your homework and learn everything about a property, market, the individual, etc? Scamming people is illegal, and if you confronted the individual, why is the individual not in jail for scamming people? Or for scamming you, in this case? Sounds like the person was unethical, I'll give you that, but this video is misleading. It's important to do your homework, and you failed to do so. You failed to vet the wholesaler. Scamming is a federal crime, and using this caption to get views and get people to "learn" real estate from you is highly irresponsible. Stop crying about it, and accept that you lost a deal to an unethical tactic, not an unlawful one.

The only way I would ever do a wholesaler deal as a wholesaler, is to have only one contingency. The approval of my business partner which will be had within 2 days. I just do not understand if finding the business partner later after the house is locked into contract is unethical. To me, asking for 2 days is not scammy and unreasonable, but I do know of very respected people who have done this and seem ok with it.
This is why I’m not in real estate wholesaling yet. I do not understand the ethics yet.

Can you come to Palm Beach County? The 33409 zip code to be exact? I think we have some shady things going on between local real estate agents and a few developers. Real estate agents here want to market the houses at about $170,000 but then turn around, knock the homes down and then put multiple houses on the same lots and charge $250,000 to $400,000.
Net listings are typically illegal but equitable interest listings are okay depending on the broker right?
