What's up everybody welcome back to the channel. Today's video is going to be about American Express making some changes so the uber credit, so this is gon na be a really quick video. Let me know what you guys think about this. This is a really you know.

I think this is a major change, because a lot of people have issues with this. So let's get right into this video, alright, so starting in September, which it is already September, you get every every a month. Everybody knows if you have a platinum card or a Centurion card, you get uber credits now for the Platinum Card. You get $ 15 a month and uber cash, and then in December you get $ 35.

You get an extra bonus in December equivalent to $ 200 to use annually it's broken up month by month, and you have to use it each and every month, if you don't use it that a month you lose it, it does not roll over. So just keep that in the back of you, keep that in mind. Actually, so what they're gon na be doing, and previously, when you had Ober cash and automatically did not apply to your order, whether that was on uber now, I know what happened. That's as far as uber eats it always apply for me, but for some reason goober actually gon na ride it didn't work.

If you didn't know you can use it for uber rides and also Hoover eats. I don't travel every month, so I'm not traveling that month and I'm not giving it to somebody I'm going to be using it for uber eats. So I shove it, maybe maybe six or seven months out of the hole 12, maybe maybe six or seven. Once I told 12 so those extra six months extra five months, I may be using it for briefs or giving it to somebody else, so they can use it so, starting in September, which is already September, you will automatically be able to so as soon as you Put your purchase for uber, it's kind of a automatically applied to your transaction.

So if you had a Lube arrive for $ 30, you know once your transaction is posted, you'll see American Express lubricated or your account within a few business days. More than likely, so you only pay $ 15 for the ride, plus you need tip or anything that you decide to give so not bad. Now there are some things that Morita some forums. Some comments on different websites.

Some people are upset at this and you can't please everybody, but some people are upset about this because they want to have option two added if they want to do it or not, and I get that one of the other complaints or you know, unhappy customers which You know they're always gon na be around. You know they use their platinum car for personal and business. Then this is something that I want to talk about. Now, I'm not telling you guys to do your finances, I'm not your personal financial adviser, but just think about it.

For a second because when I saw that comment I was confused you're not supposed to be using the same card or a personal card for your personal expenses and business expenses. So that's in my mind you know. So if you have an issue with that, maybe you might want to consider having a business card again, I'm not telling out what to do. The left are no shade, but to make it easier for yourself, why are you using a personal car of a personal and business expenses suppose have those separate? That's like business 101.

Have your personal and business expenses separate, but neither here nor there, that's just my intake on it. What do you guys think about this? I think this is awesome because for the people who don't use uber all the time, because there are a lot of card holders who have this car and they don't use uber, so they're kind of forced to use it to get rid of the credit. This is gon na be beneficial, because now they are not losing any money as long as you can stay under that $ 15 threshold, maybe 16 out of threshold, you know you're not really losing much money and get yourself a free mil a month to go ahead And give you a ride or whatever you got to do. I think this is awesome, and sometimes you know life moves around.

So much that you forget, you know things sometimes so having this applied automatically is good. Now I'm gon na be doing a follow-up video this week about this. As far as my thoughts on what Amex is gon na do next, I'm gon na this is gon na kind of stem up seppies video earlier and I didn't watch Teddy's video. I saw his thumb not off and I was a great idea.
