how do i get the screener to filter by a type of exchange, for example, for crypto coinbase and none of the others, btc for example shoes up 10 times along with many things that i cant trade or dont want to see. Same with only wanting to see NYSE only and not NASDAQ?

You need to get your vernacular right. a "scanner" is not a "screener". Scanning and screening are two different things. Stock Screener simply runs filters or scripts or indicators on a single stock. Scanning runs them against a set of stocks, potentially thousands, which is why we use TC2000, and not the abacus "TV".
