It’s OK to take one day for yourself, so maybe Saturday is your day away from the markets. For many, Sundays are typically slower and a great day to take advantage of free time. Be ready before the enemy!
Capture those early morning hours — set an alarm and grab some coffee. Then, get some exercise in. There’s a strong connection between the mind and the body. Put in the time to maximize yourself.
Always have a trading book close by. In fact, have a book queue so you can get that old-school knowledge. Yep, it still applies because human nature doesn’t change.
Stay current on reading topics of the day. Tune in for some of Bohen’s favorites!
It’s important to know what’s going on in the world. How else would you recognize any upcoming hot sectors? Now you know what most people are looking to buy Monday morning.
This tip is underappreciated ... but write things down. Journaling is a great way to get your ideas down and think things through. You can do this before bed, so when you wake up everything starts clicking.
Be sure to run scanners. Running a scan for the biggest percent gainers over five days will help you see what might be moving come Monday morning. Circle back to your journal and write down these tickers, then check the sectors!
Before turning in for the night, check out the 6 p.m. futures open. This can help you get a read on the market’s potential for the following day.
Last, get some sleep. Monday morning is a hot time in the market. We call it Money Monday for a reason! Rest up so you can wake up refreshed, ready, and prepared.

Thanks for the video and for confirming Tim! I see most Mondays I do great! Keep up the good work! 👍 Now as for Fridays I may disagree somewhat because many traders seem to leave early for the weekend and they don't want to take on additional risk over the weekend. Either way your opinions confirming my observations at least in part add great value!
