Hey everybody welcome back to my channel today we're gon na talk about the American Express Platinum Card. Okay, this card is a five hundred and fifty dollar annual fee. I'm going to show you how to at least get fifteen hundred dollars in value from this card by just the common, the most common benefits and perks of this car. Let's get right into this video! Trust me, this is for anybody who hasn't done so yet please and I will know if you have or not so you can't do it twice subscribe to the channel comment that you subscribed and tell me what you liked alright, so the American Express Platinum Card again, It's a five hundred fifty dollar annual fee and whenever you tell anybody this, they kind of just shy her from it right than in there.

But this card can guarantee you give you at least fifteen hundred dollars or more and value, and I want to show you that I have some of the common benefits perks right there, I'm going to be reading them because there's so many. I do know I'm about hard on know about them. It's got a kind of stay on track right here, so the first one is going to be the $ 200 uber credit right and the $ 200 rubra credit can either be for uber, eats or uber. You just want to make sure that you are using the credit correctly just make sure the promo for the credit is applied, so the uber credit is broken down like this.

You get $ 15 per month, sent to your uber account, so you just have to link that. Obviously you just put your American Express Platinum card on the uber account and you'll automatically be good 15 dollars from January to November $ 35 in December. A total of $ 200 now I want you guys to keep total. That's $ 200 right there off that $ 550 boom.

Okay, the next one is going to be Airlines, okay. So what that means is I'm going to get an airline credit every year of $ 200? Now what this is supposed to be used for in terms of conditions is incidentals, maybe bag fees - maybe snacks on board when I use it for and it still works until January. Sorry February, 18th, 2019 gosh February is already here. I use it for gift cards, so I live in the Philadelphia area, which means that come out of Philadelphia all the time and American Airlines is the biggest hub.

So I go to the American Airlines website with my platinum card. You have to make sure you enroll. First, every year into this airline, so that could be Delta, American JetBlue, etc. Make sure you enroll before you buy the gift card, I know for American Airlines that works 100 %, so just make sure you're enrolled and you will be set.

So what I do is I get to $ 100 gift cards. I send them to myself via email and within about three to five business days. You'll see the credit, go right back onto your American Express Platinum Card, so boom. That's already four hundred dollars with this uber in American Airlines number three, the Saks Fifth Avenue credit.

Now you get this twice a year in increments of $ 50. So what that means is, from January to June and then July, to December you get $ 50 just spin, either on Saks Fifth Avenue or in the store so sex with Avenue, comm or the store. This does not apply to the outlet. I think it's like off.

Sex or something like that, it doesn't apply strictly for sexified news website or the store itself. That's already five hundred dollars in value. All you got to do is cover fifty dollars. I got you covered.

Okay, TSA PreCheck, TSA PreCheck slash Global Entry, that is so TSA PreCheck is for the United States. It is when you're at an airport, and you are trying to get in and out of the airport, we're in the airport and do security as quickly as possible. So what American Express does is they reimburse you for that purchase or that charge TSA PreCheck is $ 85 in Global Entry is 100 here's a quick difference, TSA PreCheck in the States, it's not for anything outside of the states and if you're rich, if you're with Somebody and you have TSA PreCheck more than likely or your reservation they'll have it on a reservation. Its $ 85.

Every five years of American Express gives that back to you, you don't have to take your shoes off. You don't got to go through that. Little thing where you got to put your hands up like that you just kind of get in get out. It saves time, especially if you're running late Global Entry.

Even if you have Global Entry and somebody else doesn't, you will only have Global Entry. You have to be a known traveler, it's $ 100 every five years, but American Express gives that back to you as well again, I'm going to repeat you're gon na have to do Global Entry or TSA PreCheck. But if you do go with entry, you get both Global Entry and TSA PreCheck, so you're better off just doing Global Entry, because you get both and you're, not spinning it anyway. Okay, so that is $ 600 of volume.

Global Entry is when you're coming back into the United States, you're gon na wait in that customs line. You're no traveler, that's already 600 hours in value and all you have to do is put 550. So now we are in the bank, put it in our pocket. 50 bucks Hotel status matches with Marriott's bond void and Hilton.

So what that means is you get gold status for Hilton, which includes complement, upgrades, free, complimentary breakfast for two, which is pretty awesome as per day, etc? The marriott chain you get complimentary upgrades upon availability. You don't get free breakfast though, and you make it an upgrade. You make access to the concierge, lounge, etc. I value this personally at at least $ 30.

Why did I say $ 30? I was at a hotel and I was with somebody this was about last year, beginning last year and we had breakfast and the breakfast was about 15 dollars a person, and it was just one night. So I mean again. If you stay more than one night, then $ 30 plus and that's for Hilton as far as um, you know the the breakfast, so at least that gives you $ 30 plus okay. So now we got $ 80 in our pocket.

Now my start losing track of math or whatever, but now we're worth. We have $ 80 that we just saved okay. So now financial, I'm sorry, financial! This is it a long day, fine hotels and resorts. So what this is is like one American Express's travel website and what you do is you book these fhr places and they'll tell you and you may get things like $ 100.

Spa credit $ 100, dining credit things like that. So I value that at at least $ 100 again, if you stay more than you'll, obviously get more so again, guys it's just another perk that is just continuously bringing in a perks, especially again, if you're a traveler. This card is for you Priority Pass. This is not Centauri announced.

We haven't gotten to that. Yet I'm strictly talking about priority pass. I value this at four hundred and twenty nine dollars. Why and what is party pass so Priority Pass? Is lounge access so at at all Airport, and you see like a minute sweets or you see like a club at Atlanta or the club at Orlando, or you have like a restaurant that offers Priority Pass, is a lounge.

Now you can go to sleep, you can get, you can take showers, you can get an alcohol for free, etc. Now the reason I buy you this are four hundred and twenty nine dollars and you can bring guests to. I believe it's about two to three guests with Priority Pass: select what the reason I valued is at four hundred and twenty nine dollars is, if you were to buy this directly with Priority, Pass the company to be exactly the same or to be kind of equal With with the perks that the American Express Platinum Card gives to you, you'd have to buy the prestige, one, which is four hundred and twenty nine dollars. That's exactly why I from the from the rip four hundred and twenty nine dollars.

That's the only reason why, if you were to buy this and without the AMX Platinum Card, you're already almost hitting your annual fee, so four hundred and twenty nine dollars with that just within itself: okay, the centaurian lounges: this can differ. You only get access to this internal and as a platinum card holder or a black card holder under they've changed the guest policy, so I'll put the policy in there. I don't want to get into that too much, but again, showers free food, some of them you might get massages, pedicures, etc, and I bought you two set at least 50 bucks. If you have, maybe somebody that you with one time just one way coming from Philadelphia to Los Angeles, the Philadelphia Airport you're, probably going to spend at least $ 50 of food and alcohol, if you're one of those people, I mean it's kind of easy to spend $ 50 for two people, so at least $ 50 plus with disinterring lounge, and it is this - is great because sometimes Priority Pass is packed and busy.

It has a centaurea lounge in the airport. You and your guests get to go in and have a ball win. So car privileges you get gold status for Hertz and etc. I value just at at least $ 100 from personal experience.

It saved me a hundred dollars just on one trip. What it does is, if you get like a compact car, you get the compact car price, but if you're a gold elite member for Hertz, then I give you the compact car price, but the upgrades you a level, so you get a 4-door which is pretty cool. So in the set of like a little smushed up compact car, you get a four door just like sedan and then it saved me a hundred eyes. When I went to Toronto we got a four-door sedan price and we got a Ford Explorer, which is pretty cool.

So at least a hundred dollars in value with that and then roadside assistance. I value it at least 50 bucks. If you were somebody who you know has triple-a, I think if you don't have too much car problems, but you want to have protection. Roadside assistance will be good and you can kind of ditch the Triple A insurance.

Honestly, you get four times per year. Does that come out to you and maybe till your car tenaris facility? If you need a jump, you lost your keys or something like that, and now do that complimentary again, you might just want to you know reach out, because you know it's always something to change I've I get out at at least $ 50 again. So, let's do the rundown, uber, the airline credit sex with Avenue, TSA PreCheck or Global Entry, the so status matching in elites, the financial, sorry, the financial, the fine hotels and resorts priority past select the centauri lounges rental car privileges, roadside assistance. This is a way.

This is a mate. This is over $ 1,500 for sure i'll put the total in the video, but this is a good reason as to why you should get the American Express Platinum Card. It makes sense only if you are a traveler, though so, if we're not going to be traveling using these key benefits, I wouldn't suggest getting it.
