Starting your trading day early can be a big help. It’s a great way to make sure you have plenty of time to prepare. How early is up to you, but give yourself enough time to watch the SPY.
Tune in to learn why Bohen thinks the SPY is better to gauge than the Dow Jones.
Now, where to start that watchlist?
If the market’s gapping up, you know sentiment is bullish. If it’s gapping down, you might consider shorting if that’s your thing. In this particular lesson, it’s bullish. So look for stocks with the potential to run throughout the day.
Next, run a scan for the biggest percent gainers in stocks less than $20. Find the big movers of the day. Are they former runners? Check the volume, float, and the percentage gain.
Remember to take notes and break down your ideas.
Then you should run a premarket liquidity scan. It’s simple, but tune into the video for the full criteria. Between both scans, this will help dial down your list.
Don’t forget to keep an eye on news. News helps drive moves. Once you have your list, start looking at that one-year, one-day chart. This is an easy way to help detect breakouts.

Beginner here….you mention looking for stocks that are already up at least 10%. Is there data that shows if they are up 10% they will continue to run or what is the idea behind buying something already up? Seems counterintuitive?

Tim Bohen, I love everything you are doing, but why are saying that “the trial has every single feature” when in fact, you don’t get level 2, OTC stocks, Oracle, and many other things? I am not saying you are lying, but when I had the trial that is what I got🤷♂️

I subscribed to the STT trial and didn't get everything. I was very interested in Oracle and Level 2 and they're not available in trial. I subscribed and found out they're still not available unless you spend another $125/month. Very disappointed because I loved STT. 😞
May just be my favorite video so far.
set is great. when I used the trial I couldn't see OTCs which I didn't like. I always have a lot of problems with set it freezes and I know its not my pc its brand new. other than that its a good programs not my fav.
