When I take the time to negotiate a credit limit increase, I just explain to them what I'm going to use the card for and what a typical purchase and a large purchase would be. Then I walk through the math with them (or both average and high spend), dividing the spend amount by 9 and multiplying by 100. And I just say hey that's the 100% credit line I need in order to have those spends at 9% utilization. And that's the highest I'm going to go on my utilization, so if you want me to use this for what it was designed and intended for, you need to give me a better credit line. I'm not going to run a card up into 20% or 30% utilization because an issuer won't give me an adequate limit for what the card is intended to do. And I think this conversation proves that I'm serious about my credit. And then I just leave it at that. I ask them just to put a note on my account and I will wait and see.
Crazy to have a credit card
People spend on money internet rates.
Cash is king
When you have a credit card you tend to spend more for some stuff you donโt need.
When you have cash in your hand your your more to think about what you buy.
44K BOA and 42K AMEX
I have four cards that I never ever use. I like to OVERPAY, I leave less than a dollar monthly. And then totally forget about the card. Do you approve?

What is considered a good score to you?
Navy Federal, and Amex Business gave me 20k,
But have about 24 cards and always,
Stay @ 5% utilization.
You donโt want this because It will decrease the chances of getting loans for a house
