I had a question about think or swim. How do you set up the module and settings for the "Active Trader" function.
Im finally upgrading my PC to something powerful and so im more confident now that I can use ToS for Day Trading.
if we dip buy at around 7.4$ , ( see the higher lows, but lower highs ). how to confirm 7.3$ support is strong enough to hold and risk to? if not, it gonna drop to 6$ quickly. why not just wait for the flag pattern form. then see volume comes in . buy after this is much safer ??

seen at 7, wanted to buy but didn't want to play into it due to my experience atm, would've sold at 8 (giving some leeway in case it doesn't fully make the resistance level) for a profit of 2k… then shorted at 8.5 to ~7.7 for another 500ish, coulda made a lot of money on it compared to where i am now, but deemed the move wasn't worth zeroing my account, even if there was only a 10% chance of it or something

Conor I understand the pennant but I’m confused on buying those first two dips. What are advanced traders seeing here? Isn’t there still a strong probability of the shorts taking this back further down? What are advanced traders seeing here? Is it the low volume after the it starts to fall? Every trading book 101 is going to tell you to buy the pennant breakout but obviously these dip buyers are going to make out the best. Is it simply a gamble on small initial lots or are they really seeing a greater probability of another breakout? What’s clueing them to this?
