I don't know if adding both ATM strikes will get you the expected move. If that were the case then theorically if every earnings made at least the expected move then you could get an ATM strangle and double your money every time.

there is an easier way to tell expected move. its right on the TOS. you dont need to calculate it.
It sounds like you can buy after hours on thinkorswim. And you buy an option as well? How long can we buy (and sell) after hours.
yeah I bought after hours and sold, won around 400 bucks on 150 shares
