Hello, everyone and welcome back to a new video shawn's, a name and youtube's the game. Today, i feel like it's actually been a while, since i've done a youtube tips and tricks style video. So i figured let's do one today since i just updated my youtube masterclass, which i do every year by the way, because i wanted to share a technique that so many people ask me all the time strong. I need a ball in youtube, intro to be successful.

So how do i make one, and i'm going to say it at the very beginning of this video? You do not need an epic youtube intro to be successful on the platform, your content is what's going to make you successful on the platform, but i will say that a youtube intro does kind of give you that little extra, sass or panas that a lot of People like to have with their youtube videos so with that being said, check out my brand new youtube intro pretty sweet right. Well, i hope so because at the time of me actually recording this video, i haven't actually made that intro. Yet that's what we're going to be doing today, but i already know that it's super epic and it definitely deserves an absolute smash that, like button so make sure you do that right now and the craziest thing about creating an intro in today's world is that it Only takes you a couple minutes. Typically, something like this would take you hours upon hours to do, for example, like my old youtube intro, which i'll roll right now three that one took me roughly five to six hours in editing alone, just because i had to build it completely from scratch.

So what i'm trying to say is: there's so many good tools nowadays to streamline the process and make it easier and better for anyone who wants to make a youtube intro. So, while there's tons of great tools, you can utilize to do this. I'm going to be going over my favorite tool today, because i haven't seen any other tool come close to the creativity and uniqueness that this tool has so without further ado. We're using something called invidio.io, i will leave it linked in the description for you now, i'm gon na say this up front.

They do have a free version. However, i do not use the free version because it comes with a watermark. They might have changed it by the time you're watching this video, but the free version isn't really where you want to be at. You really want to be involved in the paid version and hold up.

I know i lose a lot of people when i say paid version, because no one wants to pay for anything these days, but i will say it is incredibly worth it and i don't know what it's priced at right now, but i reached out to the creators Of nvidia and asked if they can give us a coupon code for my following, they said yes, awesome. Thank you so much for them um. So if you use sean 25 as a coupon code, you get 25 off and you got to click the link in the description to go over there, for that. So definitely take advantage of that and then taking that one step further.

So many people are going to be like, oh well, i still don't want to pay for it. Listen if you pay for it for just one month again, i don't know what it is. Maybe 20 30 a month if you pay for it for one month, you can get your intro your outro, some little animations made. You can get so much content made in that one month that if you were to commission someone on fiverr or or any other graphic designer you're gon na be paying hundreds of dollars to get all that content made.
So it's definitely worth it. I sound like a salesman right now, but um. All i'm trying to say is you can get some really good content for really cheap and it'll. Only take you a couple minutes, so i see it as a no-brainer um.

I don't want to get caught up on this too much. I just want to jump right in and show you what we're creating today and why. I love a platform like this versus you know, editing something in vegas or adobe premiere or after effects, or something like that. So i'm done rambling, let's get into some creating okay.

So this is what invidio.io is you can kind of browse through they've got tons of great templates, and this is what kind of saves us so much time. Is you just browse whichever template you really like, and then that's what you kind of use as a basis? So, for example, if you kind of have a logo or a gaming channel, this would be a phenomenal template for you um, because you can kind of put your logo in there and you can change the background and what i always tell people when you're looking for Templates is don't worry about the actual, visuals and kind of what you see content-wise. What you should really focus on is kind of the animation. So, for example, this one right here see how you got all that animation coming in the youtube play button and then boom he's got his youtube.

Um youtube channel name right there, so you can kind of change that, to your youtube channel name, add in your logo. All sorts of things like that, but i always tell people just just look for the actual animations that you really like and then another cool tool you can kind of do. Is you can kind of just search youtube intro and you can kind of see which ones come up here? You make sure you want to be looking in 16 by nine, but there's tons of great ones. You can use there's this one also with another logo.

You can kind of put in and it'll kind of update and do kind of flashy things for you and whatnot. I really like this one i actually um was thinking about using this one for for a different channel of mine. I really like that. One super clean super awesome and again you can change everything about it.

You can change the background to whatever you want um, so yeah. This is how we're gon na save tons of time today so first step when you're actually creating your um. Your intro is browse through a lot of these, and what you can see here is i just heart, the ones that i really like so i'll go through and i'll kind of preview, a bunch of them and go. Oh, i really like this one.
I, like those animations sure it's about fitness, but i'm going to be completely changing it to my brand. I just really like those animations and those graphics. I hearted it and you can kind of just scroll through a ton and just keep harding things. Another good technique is a lot of people will search youtube intro, but what you should really do is maybe search a theme, that's kind of similar to your channel.

So, for example, something like business right. If my channel is about business, i'm just going to search business and i'm going to see which ones come up. You can see. I hearted this one.

This is the one that we're going to actually be using today. It's one i chose bottom line. You just want to pick one that you really like animations wise, and this is what we're going to be using today, as you can kind of see from the intro. But i really like the the graphics on this one and i was like okay: let's go ahead and make this one so once you kind of got one that you like, you just click it and you use this template.

Okay, now that we have our template here, um again, i'm not really going to be going over how you utilize this platform, because that could be a total beast of a video in and of itself. I'm just going to show you what i typically do when i create an intro. The first step that i always do is i always start with my audio. So i don't know what audio is kind of included in here, but i actually made my own audio because i like to be unique with it.

So i'm going to delete that audio and i'm going to go ahead and drag mine in here. It'll go ahead and it'll upload right there and then i'm going to actually build my entire intro off of the beats and kind of you know the audio file. That's typically how i start mine, i always start with the audio, and then i go with the visuals. Totally up to you and you can actually use the audio, that's included with your template.

That's typically the easiest and fastest route to go because then you don't have to change anything about your template in terms of timing. But again i like to get creative with my um with my with my audio. So i'm going to go ahead and i'm going to drag this guy in and we're going to move him over to there. And now we have our audio in and we can go ahead and give it a listen, so it doesn't quite fit the audio just yet no big deal.

The next thing i like to do is i like to start with a green screen, because that's what i'm going to be using to kind of mesh in with my video that i actually record. So i'm going to go ahead and i'm going to add a scene in here and i'm just going to add, build my own scene and then once i've got my scene in here i'll just delete all of these things. I don't want anything on it. The background will go ahead and unlock it and i'll actually edit the background to my green screen color.
So we'll just go here: do that color right there and then go back into our layer and lock it now there is our green screen kind of intro. So then i'm going to drag it up to here and then, as you can see, you know we need a little animation right now. It's just sliding right, which is fine, but i actually like the um slide stretch right, which i'm gon na look for now slide stretch right. You can kind of see it right there, so i'm gon na add that guy in there and then i'm also going to kind of change this to about two seconds.

I think yep and then i'm going to cut my audio down a little bit because it looks like there's a little bit of fluff in the beginning, pause that and i want it to kind of work right with my right with my uh transition right there. So, as you can see, the beat will come in right there right as it's kind of changing. We can go ahead and see what that looks like now. I like that nice and flushed kind of works with the audio a little bit we're making progress.

Now, let's go ahead and actually time the rest of the um intro up to the beat of the music. I don't change anything with the content-wise until my timing is perfect, because you're gon na end up changing all that stuff later once your timing is perfect. So now i'm going to do this up until we got to kind of account for our animation. So i'm going to try two and a half seconds and then i'm going to do this guy, also at 249.

or 250. If i can make that happen, and then our last actually, i'm gon na have to add in probably another scene, but i'm gon na go into this guy, and this is probably gon na, be, let's see if we do 250 might need a little bit longer. Let's go like just over three: i have ocd, so i'm gon na do it at 305 um. There we go and then lastly, we want to add another kind of outro scene which is going to be our green screen, because again we have it kind of meshing.

In with our video in the beginning and then kind of fading out with our video at the end, so again, the last thing you want to do is add in a green screen and then now we have our animations all set up and we should have our Timing, pretty much all dialed in i'm going to take that all the way out again, this at 305, 250 to 52 seconds we're looking good. Let's uh just go ahead and give it a play and see what it looks like not bad. I want to change the zoom to probably a slide stretch. Maybe right at this point we'll go ahead and do that one right there looking pretty good, it's looking pretty good on our timing and also as well as our audio.

So now we kind of have a decent um. I guess structure of our intro, so now let's actually build the content into it. First thing i do is actually go in and change my brand colors, because that's going to kind of change everything on the on the um on the project, which is going to be really good and kind of save me some time. So i'm going to add in that color code right there we'll exercise that one and then i'll change this color code to right there and then now we already look like we're kind of fitting in with our brand.
So it's looking good and then i'll actually go ahead and change our text as next we'll change the text first and then we'll go ahead and we'll change the content. So i'm going to start here and go sean we're going to change the style to try to match so we'll go bold! We'll do a font size of like 130! Then we're going to kind of raise it up a little bit we'll make this one a little bit smaller that'll be my last name of malku all caps and then we're going to make this one a little bit smaller, maybe just bigger, i'm going to go like 140. 140 looks pretty good right there and again it saves all the animations and everything. So it looks good and now that scene is basically done besides our content right there, which that could kind of look like me so could even leave that, but we're going to go into our next scene and then kind of do the same thing and change up Our text boom just like that, got my little tagline in there sean's the name, youtube's the game and then i'm looking at these.

I don't think i want to add in a logo. I could put my image right there, but my logo could always change throughout the year and i don't want to. I won't have to change this, so i'm just going to kind of delete those, and then these two scenes are looking pretty much done. Besides the the content moving into our last scene, we're going to go ahead and probably do something kind of fun here again, i don't want to put a logo in so i'm going to kind of just do this.

I'm going to put my social media handle we'll do at sean malcoo. I could even kind of lower case those. No, i like it all caps and then we're going to change this logo again. We don't want to really delete it.

A whole lot. We kind of want to replace it, so we still keep all the animations, but i think with this logo, i'm going to upload something i created earlier in the year we'll go ahead and drop that one in here and let it upload a little bit and then We'll replace it and then this scene is going to be pretty much done. I could make that a little bit bigger, but we'll just leave it, as is for now and kind of see what this looks like once we drop it in also. While this is uploading, i'm going to go ahead and upload two more videos, so we can kind of wait for those to be uploaded as we as we wait for this now when it comes to kind of recording some good images, or i mean some good videos - Don't don't think of it too much for your intro again, you're only going to see them for a second or two seconds, so don't really think you need to get some absolutely insane footage.

That's going to look unreal and and awesome, it's obviously a bonus, but all i did was pretty much grabbed a friend my buddy jevin shout out to him and i was like hey: let's go record some stuff for like 20 30 minutes, we'll get a couple of Nice clips and i'll kind of work them into an intro, and that's all we did and that's kind of what's uploading right here, which i'll show you in a little bit, but it doesn't have to be insane either way. Let's go ahead and replace this one right here, so we're gon na put our little logo in let it kind of upload and change right there. Now that it's loaded up we'll go ahead and just kind of place it in the middle. Here it's kind of big but uh, we'll kind of see what that ends up looking like kind of in the final scene.
But then that's pretty much done right. There we'll go ahead and transition back to this scene and we're going to upload this um little drone. Footage and drone footage is a little bit trickier because i had to kind of import it into my um. You know into vegas into an editing software program because i had to kind of completely color grade it um.

You can do some color grading on here, but i really like the presets that i made on um on vegas. You know because i've been editing on that for like years, so i did kind of import into there and kind of edit this scene first. But you don't have to um we'll go ahead and just hit replace we're going to use the full video on it, and then it should be pretty solid once it kind of loads in which might take a little while there we go. So it should be all solid.

Now, let's go ahead and let's play this scene, yeah looks clean, we'll play it again. It looks nice and clean again. That was just a very brief. Second on that footage.

So don't get caught up on that we'll go ahead and go over into this scene. Now we got got ta, replace this one. It's still uploading, so i'll just wait a little bit for that to finish. Okay, now it's uploaded, so we're gon na work.

Our way into this scene and there's a couple clips on here, but we're only gon na be using one. So i'm gon na actually drag this one in and replace it. We're going to mute the audio on it and then we're also going to drag through and see which scene we want to use. So i do like the car scene, it is kind of cool, but i don't really like to to show off as much so i don't know if i really want to use that.

Maybe we'll save that for later, but i do really like this scene that we did um just talking on the phone. So i'm going to go ahead and start it there and it started at 360 and we need to remember two and a half seconds. So that means five ten five ten or maybe i'm i'm off on a whole second, but we're going to try that, oh time, duration now at the bottom we're gon na go 250 right there. Let's play it real, quick, so that looks pretty clean.

I like that. I, like that scene, a lot so we're gon na do done and then now it's in there and our scene should be all done, but also our entire intro should be done. I'm gon na actually edit this one real, quick to match up with our audio and then, let's see how it turned out, looks awesome. I really like the way that turned out now.
We just have to hit export and we're done, but that's the intro we'll be using for this whole year of 2021.. Hopefully you liked it. Let me know your comments down below. If you think it's super cool and awesome again, it only took us a couple minutes to do which is pretty unbeatable.
