Where/what would you recommend investing into? Whats the platform you're referring to that gives back 5% or 10%?

What you think about Vanguard as retirement vehicle?

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars bunterr says:

A retirement account gives 12% consistently and the stock market returns about 9% inconsistently. So why wouldn't everyone put everything in a retirement account?

Great vlog on investing. There is one statistic everyone needs to remember, and yes, it is a fact; Over 50% of marriages end in divorce! I say this because once the hair on the back of your neck tells you this partnership is probably not going to work, adjust your finances accordingly. On the flip side, investing is always a good thing, and half of something is better than half of nothing. I share this from experience.

Good video. Problem with Actively managed funds is they rape you with fees. Better off just leaving money in a index fund tracking the market as a whole unmanaged. You'll beat a mutual funds in the long run mainly from saving from fees.

Hey Connor. Thank you very much for the video. My question is: you mentioned "investing". What do you mean exactly by investing? do you mean have a trading account and do it ourselves, or there are places that can invest on behalf of you? I remember from one of your other videos, you mentioned the ROTH IRA. Do they invest on behalf of you or that is just a IRA saving account? Thanks

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Let's be Yannis says:

Connor you should make a video on how to reach actively a double digit return without those expensive money management fees!
    Hot sectors?

"Considering I am 66, this ship has sailed. I had opportunities between the ages of 18, & 21, to lay hands on 20+ thousand dollars, but I was a, 'Financial Illiterate.' My dad stole my college funds [my brother's too] but in the early 1970's – a College Education was dirt cheap. That cash could have purchased me a Maters, at least. Alias, I didn't have the smarts, no father to guide me, no intelligence about investing – no one to explain to me the dream of what, 'Compounding,' could mean to my life. Instead I invested in my friends with the most chance of making it pay off towards their dreams. It did too, but then – they failed to offer payback, and bring me along on their journey to a wealthy future. So, I saw, & recognized a good investment – but I could not envision how to capitalize on it – or attach strings that might have better insured I didn't get left in the dust… These days, less people can afford a great education – But, with the tools of the personal computer, smart phones, and Knowledge Technology – most recent generations have learned to fly with their imaginations – growing up in an environment where any curiosity can be self-nurtured to a degree where you don't need those years in college for so many of today's pursuits – you only need to followup on your visions by educating yourself with today's tools, and gaining access to today's technologies – like 3-D creative-building devices, Self-learning Technology, Deconstruction Method Concepts, Autonomy, and our new rising Augmented Age, and the foils of, 'Design Tools,' and the fruits of developing digital nervous systems in all manner of newest creations. Even though many say our time on Earth only has a realizable shelf-life of a couple dozen more years – before our world suffers economical & environmental chaos and collapses – today's visionaries, with today's technologies – may yet still spell survival for our earthen planet. If I live long enough – we may even find a new economic platform where money finally becomes obsolete – like the Hunters/gatherers, the flowers of the Renascence – followed by the Industrial Age that began only hundreds of years ago! Now, we have access to the speed of light in human imagination from just five decades of our present Technological Revolution! If only I had been born – either in the time of Ansel Adams, or 1985 to 1995 – where I could have been immersed in the sunlight of a pure, full life in the technology age of possibilities… Imagination, today, has more potential for a creative mind than ever in the history of Humankind. I needed a break in the 1970's that, today, I could have created on my own – being technology-literate with contemporary offerings. I'm not complaining – I have had the opportunity to observe and grow along – seeing what aspirations, and today's technologies can produce. It is remarkable! I am humbled… My hope now is – to see us create a way out of the mess our near-entire ancestral existence has brought to us. Good luck, Human Race…" Brad Michael Moore
