About a year ago I invested about $500 in stocks, it went well for a while, but I believe money hungry emotions kicked in and got to a point where I ended up with only like $300 bucks in the account. A few days ago with all this corona virus craziness I started thinking….maybe i should look into my account and see if I should sell the $300 worth of stocks I had left, use that money to invest in just 1 stock and run a risk (at this point, what did I have to loose?). As a beginner I actually did. I bought 1 stock and worked a lot on my emotions for a day. I can say I was more in tune with my gut feelings and emotions laid low. I made a plan to cash out if the stock hit a certain amount. The stock actually surpassed my plan expectation in a matter of seconds, as I was getting ready to cash out…I banked $1,055. I can’t sit here and say I know what I was doing because I really didn’t, but I think what helped me was the experience I had before with my emotions. Can anyone relate?
