What do you suggest for a senior citizen to buy their own home living on a fixed income is there any help out there for us? I have always thought that landlords put in the lease where they have the right to check the property once -2 times a year. In order to avoid problens in earlybstages. So things dont get out of hand. Hope they cleaned things before allowingmthis young boy in.

I cant believe that house is or was ever worth 450k. Being so close to neighbors having little yard, yikes. If that same exact house was here in oklahoma, it would be maybe, 100k. You could get a better one if you buy a foreclosed house for like 75k.
Another reason to hate cali. Ill keep my extra monies and just travel n vacay.

I have a few hundred dollars in my pocket. If I save every penny each month that does not go to rent, I'll still never own a 700,000 house. Use a few hundreds to wipe your tears.

Omg I was there ! I saw the ad and figured I’d take a look ( I love finding cheap or free furniture pieces to restore) and when I drove up , the place was terrifying! It was so messy ! Looks like I missed out . The place looks amazing now! Well done!
