Hey, let's talk about time and not by accident, i do have a clock behind me, which i thought would be kind of funny. But let's talk about how fragile time is just recently elon musk tweeted. That time is the most precious resources of humanity and i think that's a really good statement. But i want to give you a few examples of how to translate into your everyday life, because i think a lot of people get into the stock market get into investment.

For the wrong reasons and they're trying to fill a hole, that's never going to get filled. It's like people who eat emotionally, for example, not that i know anything about it. It never fills up the hole, but i'll give you like a more monetary example. You know when you grow up and you're like okay, i'm gon na get into this a great school and then i'm gon na get a great education.

Then i'm gon na be happy. Then you get a great education, then okay, so i just need to land. This perfect job i'm getting happy. Then you get entry level management job.

If i can only make middle management i'm going to be so much happier, you get the middle minimum job, but then, if i can only make partner, i'm going to be so happy and it never never fills the hole whenever you get to the next stepping stone. There's al always like something better: the horizon that you almost almost out of reach. You just need to get the next thing. The next fix just to be happy and it never fulfills that happiness need material, stuff and money and promotions and clout.

It's never going to make you happy, i mean imagine a guy who, like me, who grew up from nothing like dirt. Poor me and my sister, my dad, my mom. We literally shared one room, not one bedroom, a one room apartment. It was one of those russian style, section, 8 apartments.

It was really scummy, really dangerous, neighbors and really shitty neighborhood, and so i came from nothing and then you know when i came from nothing and i saw people who who had bikes and i really dreamt. I wish i had a bike one day and then eventually like when i was in my teens. I got a bike and then i was dreaming about a car. Then i firstly got like like a one liter engine car, which was complete garbage like manual manual windows.

Nothing electric and then i got a better car and now i'm independently, somewhat uh upper middle class, maybe a little bit wealthy, but not really rich. So look at these rich with pools. These guys are probably looking at the billionaires. The billionaires are looking at the jeff bezos and elon musk, the invest of them.

So you know it's like a bicycle is envious of a guy with a car. The guy with the car is envious with the guy with the plane. The guy with the plane is envious with the guy, with the spaceship shout out to elon. So unless you find that inner happiness, that inner satisfaction, no amount of clout money and success, that's going to come from investing is going to help.

You feel that it's not going to fill that void. In fact, if you listen to gary vaynerchuk who's, one of my favorite people to listen to he recently said i mean i don't flex, because my flex is being happy simple as that.

Well said, instead of judging people because of what you have and what they donโ€™t is crazy. Itโ€™s life letting you know how far youโ€™ve come AND also where you can end up if you let things get out of hand.

Why do people like Gary? I recently started watching his videos and it's like Video 1 "Be compassionate" Video 2 "I found some old widow selling a million dollar collectible item for $20 but I talked her down to $10 because $999,980 wasn't enough upside for me. Then I made a video so she can see how much money she lost."

So timely and much appreciated Tom. If money only did buy happiness, more people would be content but obviously it's not something you can buy. Taking the TIME to pursue and KNOW what fulfills us is that is truly PRICELESS. It seems so trite to say but it is true, the little things mean a lot and those things are free.

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Richard Orridge says:

Tom, whatโ€™s happened to the titles that let me know what you were talking about? It makes me sad. Itโ€™s gone all โ€œThis has to stopโ€ and stuff like that now. I want to understand what Iโ€™m clicking. Thanks
