An Extreme Price Surge for AMC is coming, at least thats what many prime brokers are worried about.
Market Makers and brokerage firms are now paying nearly 80% interest per year for YOUR AMC shares, because they're desperate to locate real shares to ensure their illegal 'music' doesn't stop...
This is likely to be followed by many bankruptcies, potentially with even blackrock going under, the number of Large companies that have already gone bankrupt this year is staggering.

#AMC #AMCStock #ShortSqueeze

Today I Want to explain how Prime Brook is A Market Makers are worried that AMC will experience an extreme price surge. I Also want to talk about how they're desperate to borrow real shares in an attempt to make their short positions legit. So stay tuned and let's make some money. And now I'm going to go straight in with accumulation.

So I Want to start by saying that this is an old tweet, so don't come at me for using old material. But if anything, this tweet is more important right now than it was back in June of 2021. So Manpreet Tweeting Wall Street's top Brokers are quietly tightening their rules for who can bet against retail Traders most popular stocks according to a report from Bloomberg. It says the Bank of America City Group and Jeffrey's Financial Group are among firms that have adjusted risk controls at Prime brokerage operations and it says banks are trying to protect themselves against Fallout from extreme surges and dips in companies including AMC GameStop, Microvision, and many others.

This basically means that Prime Brokers are only allowing specific hedge funds or specific market makers to bet against AMC stock. So that likely means we're not betting against other retail investors. We're not betting against smaller hedge funds. We're only betting against the biggest one percent of the one percent of those largest hedge funds and market makers.

And as these major banks are trying to protect themselves from The Fallout of extreme price surges in AMC GameStop and other meme stocks, it's likely these banks are demanding massive, massive collateral. Now we know that Citadel are using a special type of margin loan that's different from regular margin loans AK instead of when a stock price Falls that trade of being liquidated. as long as Citadel is meeting their monthly payments, they don't end up being liquidated. But it also means that when AMC and GameStop do experience their next extreme price surge, these major banks, these major institutions and the largest hedge funds have significantly more to lose because it's not individual trades that are being liquidated.

As long as these hedge fund funds meet their monthly payments, it's likely going to be the entire hedge fund that comes collapsing down. Okay, when Citadel these market makers and the largest one percent of hedge funds run out of real AMC shares to borrow and run out of cash, the Music Stops and the music doesn't just stop in a small way. with one individual trade being liquidated, it's likely the entire Market making business of Citadel will come collapsing down. And that is why these market makers are desperate to borrow your AMC shares at any price possible.

AMC to the Moon widgeting I could go full on Judas right now and loan out my shares and quit my job, but he said I'd only be hurting myself and my brother and sister. Apes He said my account is a cash account and therefore he's not using margin and he said as a result, his shares are definitely not loaned out and he's not even remotely tempted to do so. AMC The Moon is yet another user who's received an email requesting his AMC shares to be lent out with an interest rate this time not of 70, but of 77.6 percent and and as Stephanie tweeted, she said, they don't offer this kind of money if they don't need what you own. She said this might seem like a lot of money, but it's nothing compared to the mother of all short squeezes and the AMC cheerleader has asked Fidelity why AMC stock is in demand and why it's only AMC stock and she also asked what is the true current percentage offering for the fully paid lending program because this is yet again another user that's now being offered 79.5 interest with a hypothetical monthly income of Thirteen thousand dollars per month, and she said the AMC appears to be an in-demand security that some shareholders have been eligible to receive massive interest rebates.
She said currently some shareholders are being offered an annual interest rate of 79.5 and a hypothetical monthly income of over thirteen thousand dollars, and she's curious to Fidelity as to why exactly this is being offered for AMC shareholders, But as I said, it's likely because these market makers are desperate for shares to ensure that the music doesn't stop and to tie that in. This also comes at a very interesting time when BlackRock has just announced a massive a recent layoff and obviously they're 1.5 trillion dollar loss. And guys, if you haven't already, be sure to join me over on MooMoo who is the sponsor of today's video. By using the link in the description below, you can currently get up to 17 free stocks entirely commission free trading Free level 2 Market data and MooMoo is very easy to use with tons of technical indicators and advanced charting tools.

Mimu has 24 7 customer support and you can trade around the clock using their very simple user interface. Now I know that BlackRock for the year of 2022 took on a 1.5 trillion dollar loss, bringing their 9.5 trillion dollar fund down to only eight trillion dollars. But on top of that, BlackRock also plans to let go of around 500 staff or 500 members of the workforce in order to try and mitigate the current market conditions. Larry thinks in the first half of 2022 bought an investment environment that we have not seen in decades and that's why BlackRock is currently having one of their worst losses on record.

So it seems these market makers are desperate to borrow shares because these Prime brokerages are restrict who exactly can bet against AMC and are likely raising lose margin requirements. And as I said, this also comes at a time when one of the world's largest asset managers AKA BlackRock is struggling. If BlackRock ends up going bankrupt and cannot continue loaning out their EMC shares, it's likely these market makers would be screwed. You may say Tom Surely there's no chance of BlackRock getting bankrupt.
but I think Alessio Urban has tweeted a very interesting chart. He said, it's a great way to start the year. The U.S large bankruptcies in January touched the highest amount since 2010. So this chart here shows the number of companies that have gone bankrupt.

With over 50 million dollars in liabilities now over the last 10 to 15 years, this is averagely held up below 10 large bankruptcies per year. Obviously, this did spike in 2020 for those pandemic lockdowns. Obviously, during the lockdowns, many many businesses struggled, especially retail businesses. and obviously some did go bankrupt, especially some of the largest companies out there.

But 2023 has absolutely destroyed that. In the last month and a half alone, we've seen over over 20 large company bankruptcies. So in the first month of January and the first few days of February Effectively, we've seen more bankruptcies in 2023 than we've seen over the last 10 to 15 years. So therefore, I can only imagine just how bad 2023 is going to continue getting and how many more large companies we're going to see going bankrupt.

And I also really like this Reddit post about the AMC River split it He said, you guys really need to understand the due diligence. He said a new Q-sip number literally means short positions have to close out until they cover their fell to delivers and he said, not only does that mean the price will be jumping to eight plus AMC times 10 obviously for the 10 times reverse split, but at the same time, they will be forced to buy back the stock at that higher price. And obviously as they have to buy back the stock to close out of those Ftds, it means they can't simultaneously short the stock creating new Ftds at the exact same time because of that new Cusick number, they have to close out of those Ftds first before they can resume shortly and therefore that will cause the price to naturally go up as they buy back all of those AMC shares to close out of those ftds. And this poster on Reddit believes this is the most realistic Catalyst of the squeeze imaginable and he said at the same time all these hedge funds have to buy back these AMC shares with the supply of AMC will go way down And he said by law of basic economics the more we hold with a decrease in Supply and an increase in demand is potentially a huge Catalyst as well.

Obviously if demand increases because these shorts need to close out of their Ftds and Supply reduces massively, that is a case free price to increase And he said that's the same reason why you see so many people considering voting no because of the Massive Thud campaign and that's why he says, who cares if you've got 10 times less stock because the shares will be worth way more than 10 times the value. And finally, something very interesting that ties back into that last Reddit post is this tweet from Phil For Real? Hey, tweet is saying tomorrow is the 13th consecutive day that AMC potentially could be on the New York Stock Exchanges Threshold Security list. Now obviously, a stock is only allowed to stay on the Regulation Sho list for a maximum of 13 days. Those Ftds have to be closed out and a force closeout requirement will apply.
Now again. I'm sure in the past we've seen other stocks remaining on this regulation Sh O list for an extended period of time, but AMC has never stayed on there for 13 full days. I Think AMC is a significantly more popular stock than many of those smaller stocks that remain on the regulation Sho list and there's a lot more prying eyes. And therefore I Do think the price of AMC could really start rising up towards this reverse split date at the time when it could potentially go wild.

But guys, be sure to let me know what you think down in the comments below. And as always, guys, be sure to ding that notification Bell because that way you'll be alerted when I put a new video. Cheers.

Morgan Stanley has their tentacles in our shit .. Bro nobody can debunk this FUD: that reducing the amount of shares fucks retail.. if we were dealing with NORMAL short positions than they would be obligated to close. But since were dealing with counterfeit Naked shorts that are essentially IOUs.. they get off the hook with the reduction of shares

    1) AMC has been on REG SHO Threshold +13 – nothing happened, 2) There is no apparatus forcing action… i.e. stocks can be on Reg Sho TH list for years (i.e. Overstock 8 years). Do not get lost on the FUD OR FOMO.

Thomas, I can’t get an answer on this so maybe you can. If I have 1 share AMC I bought at $20 and 1 share of APE I bought for $2, after RS is my cost average ($2 x 1) + ($20 x 1) = $22 /2 = $11.. if yes, then this may really help those who have a high ave cost and might help them feel better about the 10x exit numbers.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Alan Potter says:

This is my take on things and has nothing to do with criticising Thomas or any genuine AMC holders
People seem to forget, when the rev-split happens we will have 90% less shares with the value combined of the post split price, but AA will have 300,000,000 extra shares that he can release AT ANY TIME, and we would have lost our voting strength.
It's a total scam, there will be no MOASS with AMC now because there is no buying pressure any more.
This whole cusip thing is a distraction. People need to stop living with hopeium and realise that after 2+ years nothing that would have & should have caused the squeeze has been able to do it,
    Why?
Because they (1%) have total control of not only the markets, but the regulators too.
    And,
    the government.

This play has become so fractious now (their intention all along) that it's not possible for anything other than a run up to happen. They have successfully divided the AMC "community". Based on comments and name calling etc.
Being called a shill, FUD spreader, moron and worse because your opinion is different to theirs.

My DD is based on what's happened before, common sense and logic.
DD based on price action, regulations, Q1 earnings this and Q4 earnings that, box office sales, VWAPs and descending triangles BS, diversifying, AND the biggest BS, "They can't do this forever" where has that got anyone??

If AA was on retail's side, why did he create APE and why did he sell to 1 of our debt holders a massive tranche of shares at a knock down price 90%+ less than what existing AMC holders were forced to pay?
It was mainly to dilute our voting strength, so he could guarantee the "Yes vote" (when the time came to kill this play).

I don't care now if people think I'm negative, i've been here for 2 years buying and holding, watching the slow manipulation of the AMC community, watch them be slowly divided by the different YTers, (NOT YOU THOMAS), all the FUD spread far and wide, on comments, TV, Twatter, etc.
I've put every spare penny I had into this thinking it'll all be over by Christmas 21 then March22, then June 22, you get the point, with the causation being, …. interest rate hikes, political uncertainty, world events, enormous CTB rates, new "so called" SEC rules and many many more.
    Now the cusip theory,
that will come and go like the rest, our shares may have a brief run up, then their shenanigans will begin all over again, but this time we'll have 90% less shares 2b shorted all the way down and people will still be of the belief that this whole thing was done by AA in our best interest.
I didn't come here to save AMC, I came here in the belief we were gonna screw over the HF's and help expose their criminal activities, whilst making a large sum of money. WinWinWin "NAIVE".
    Last thing,
when the CEO tells you there's 4+million retail investors of a 516,000,000 float and we own 90%, yet we knew that there was 25-30% institutional investment as well and he still has the brass balls to say he can't see any evidence of synthetic shares, wouldn't that have been the time to call his BS out? We've sat here patiently holding waiting and hoping and at the same time we're all being played by the guy who we deem to be "Looking out for our best interests"
HE IS ONE OF THEM, NOT ONE OF US.

If i'm proved wrong feel free to criticise and I will be most apologetic.
Until then, I'm holding until it's worth selling or as I expect "I end up with worthless stock"

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mason Benner says:

Tom, once a new cusip # is assigned. That then becomes a fresh start in that those shares cannot be purchased to satisfy old or past shorts. So, regarding post split, I beleive the feedback you are providing might be incorrect. In other words and/or analytically speaking; It's exactly like AMC becoming a new company (again for example). If AMC became LMNOP, Citadel does not have the ability to go buy LMNOP to cover AMC that were sold short. PLEASE feel free to correct me if I am wrong. However, from what I understand, if the new cusip # is assigned and full steam ahead without all of the billions of synthetics being covered. What is done is DONE. Leading to this becoming one of the most idiotic and selfish plays that supposedly super hero Adam Aron could ever make. Further, FINALLY, all of the pressure we have on our side. i.e. cost to borrow etc… and more is also all going to be gone.

On the other hand, if this is a genius play to force all of the hedge funds to cover all FTDs and more then AA is a genius. If not and this deal actually goes through. It's DONE and AA screwed us. For all of us who have been in the for 2+ years with $100,000 invested give or take. DONE!!!

Again, feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Trust me I would love to be mistaken.

Another Q that nobody has asked to confirm. From what I understand the value is YES 10 to 1. However, the actual basis of the trade is based on 100 shares to 10 shares. Leading to the Q; what if someone has 95 shares? Is this another angle and/or game???

Last but not least. Easy math. Assuming someone has 1000 shares currently. What we all have been waiting for is either for the company's value to increase and/or for there to be pressure applied to the hedge funds enough cover for the price to increase to $30 – $75 and then to squeeze etc. NOW, everyone is getting sold on this idea of; nothing to worry about. Because $5 will be $50. Wow and in the process, it just cost me 90%. How about instead taking the for example 1000 shares worth $5 and turning it into 100 @ $50. Let's hold the hedge funds accountable and wait for market fairness. To get rid of the dark pools and allow us all to hold our 1000 – 10,000 shares opposed to us all losing 90%.

Seriously, everyone is being brain washed.

How about we all wait for the co. to build the necessary value but even better, to outlast the hedge funds until they finally must cover. The worst part; we have never been so close. With so much on our side Adam Aron is about to screw us all.

    DO NOT BE FOOLED.

The move he is proposing is going to kill our ability to ever hit the MOASS.

Sorry, but don't trust AA. Remember the "pounce"? Well, the shorts swooped upon retail and seized our wealth! Remember APE was supposed to cause the squeeze- with a different CUSIP- it didn't- and as reported in many cases APE's CUSIP remained the same as AMC's CUSIP. Where was AA and the board? They were collecting millions while we were losing millions- they watched as retail's stock price dwindled and did NOTHING! If AA was truly interested in saving AMC, why didn't he sell the APE stock when it was at $10 a share instead of when it was about a dollar a share. Something is not right here. Also, when you vote you are not just voting on a reverse split, as advertised, but other things also. I just voted NO to all issues.
