In this episode, Stephen Johnson is schooling co-host Kim Ann Curtin about some of the things every trader should be thinking about before executing an order.
There are a number of different variables that can be considered as pros or cons of trades. By considering them, you can make a more knowledgeable decision about whether to go short or long on a trade.

  1. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Johan Straver says:

Stephen: "Market cap is the total number of shares available in the company"

Investopedia: "Market capitalization refers to the total dollar market value of a company's outstanding shares of stock. Commonly referred to as "market cap," it is calculated by multiplying the total number of a company's outstanding shares by the current market price of one share."

The explanation followed after that comment is even more off… Too bad for such a good podcast.
