Wow, i can't believe this just happened about a day ago i went ahead and posted a poll on youtube saying which will bitcoin hit first 28k or 40 000. We have over 43 000 votes on this poll with the majority of people with a pretty close vote. Saying 53 agree that bitcoin is gon na hit 40 percent, and it looks like that prediction might just be right at the time of filming this videos. Bitcoin is up about 11.8 percent closing in on forty thousand dollars at thirty eight thousand dollars.

Right now, in this video we're going to be going over, why bitcoin all of a sudden started to just dramatically increase in its price and we're also going to be going over what you should do, what you should expect moving forward now guys, as you know, i Don't really do sunday evening uploads, but every once in a while when we see something as major as this i feel like. I have to come on to the youtube channel and start spinning some facts. So, first of all, let's not waste any of your time. So the first reason why bitcoin is increasing in price.

All of a sudden within the last few hours is because bitcoin has been getting its short positions liquidated as you guys can see on data mish right now they are down 17 in their short positions. We take a look at some of the other stats. The shorts and bitcoin interest rates, you'll notice, a significant drop going down anywhere from 2 800 short positions, all the way down to 2400 right now. So a lot of huge liquidations happening you'll see the hedged and unhedged short positions, also taking a dip during that same time, and then today sentiment changes in the last 24 hours longs are still holding strong, while the short positions are getting completely flushed out right now.

Thus, meaning people have to buy back those shares, increasing the price of bitcoin now with bitcoin short positions, getting liquidated and seeing more volume go into this crypto, we haven't been seeing that enormous push that we often see from all coins. So i would expect to see the all coins really start surging this week in price action. So if you have been following my channel, you know that i've been talking about how mid-july would be a time of excitement where this would really be. Where things pick up.

Now i was a little few weeks late on that prediction, while we are still entering august, but it looks like we weren't too far off at all, so go ahead and watch some of my previous videos. If you guys did miss on that now. I do have my own predictions on what we expect to see right now, i'm a firm believer still in the nft market and, as you guys know, the recent token axe infinity has also gotten my attention. So i'm keeping my eyes out on that.

But for the most part, with bigger positions like i have in my portfolio with bitcoin and ethereum, i am super super excited just to see the momentum and price action that we've experienced in today and in the last seven days as well. Now, on top of bitcoin shorts getting liquidated, we have to talk about amazon, so amazon is looking to accept bitcoin payments by the end of the year and is investigating its own token for 2022.. Now, as you guys know, this year is flying bypass, and this is actually huge, huge news. If amazon, one of the biggest internet retailers to exist in the world goes ahead and adds cryptocurrency and becomes the supporter that we've been looking for, this may demolish any type of bowl games that we saw with.

As an example, tesla saying they were gon na accept bitcoin as payment, so even rumors like this. This could have been what triggered those shorts to get liquidated, or maybe people were just fed up with the fact that bitcoin has been steadily increasing in price. In the last seven days now, i really need you guys to pay attention to this part of the article right here, because this is huge, huge news. So they stated this isn't just going through the motions to set up cryptocurrency payment solutions at some point in the future.

This is a full-on well-discussed, integral part of the future mechanism of how amazon will work. It begins with bitcoin. This is the key first stage of this crypto project and the directive is coming from the very top jeff bezos himself. The insider also explained that directors of the world's fourth largest company were keen to move towards ticking off other big cryptocurrencies once it had established a fast and secure method of bitcoin payment, now think of cryptocurrencies as an example that grayscales has added, i would not be Surprised if we start seeing ethereum chain link and any of the other larger cryptocurrencies start getting added to this pie uh.

So here we go, they continue to say, ethereum, cardano and bitcoin cash will be next in line before they bring about eight of the most popular cryptocurrencies online. It won't take long because the plans are already there and they have been working on them since 2019. This entire project is pretty much ready to roll, so this is really fantastic news for the crypto market right now, just because it seems like amazon has been pretty silent throughout the entire bull run, but not to our surprise. It looks like they have been working on.

Many different projects on the back end and just the fact that they are considering this right now could be the mass adoption that we're all looking for in order to get crypto started, firing again and starting to moon back to where it was before. Now, although this is really spectacular news, we still need to take a step back and not get too euphoric in our emotions, and we got to realize the long picture ahead as newer investors, if you're in a situation right now, where you're seeing the price increase and You're, like what do i do now, brian, do i sell my positions? Do i take my profits out, or do i just continue holding this is all going to be dependent on how your portfolio is set up right now. I know for me personally, i'm not planning on selling any positions at the moment, but if i do, i will be letting at least my inner circle. Members know for our patreon group, but at the moment i plan on going very long with these investments.

So, as a newer investor, i would definitely be more cautious right now, if you guys have been over leveraged into your crypto positions and right now, this allows you to take some profit off the table. There is nothing wrong with doing that at all, especially during this time now, if you do have a lot more leeway where you can hold these investments for a longer time where, if we do experience more volatility, it's not going to make a difference to you. I would consider going longer on these investments because, like i said, i'm very bullish with crypto moving forward into the future. Now, in terms of future opportunities coming up, i do believe we are going to have still more pullbacks before we are completely out of the green right now, with the overall volume of the cryptocurrency just seeing these shorts liquidated.

Yes, it's good news, but we're gon na need to see one bitcoin's dominance returning back to previous levels of 2018 and 19, where they're, surpassing 50 plus or we're just gon na need to start seeing some more overall volume in the market. That's gon na help bring the prices back up, regardless of whatever happens. I know that i have my investment, i'm happy with the amount of money. That's in my crypto portfolio, right now and at the moment like i mentioned, i continue to go long now.
